Glad to know that I wasn't alone in disliking Thor. I felt swindled out of 2 hours of my life I'd never get back. I also didn't care if Thor lost! I wanted him to lose, I disliked him so much as a "hero". Hayden Christensen had better chemistry with Natalie Portman than Thor did.

Besides a handful of terrific movies the 2000s and early 2010s were the worst decades in movie history, even the Oscars winning flicks were generally forgettable.

The first Transformers is still my favorite, but here is a franchise that has stayed way beyond its welcome, and with a 6th film on the way.

Interesting that Roger didn't like Thor, but I will say the Pirates of the Caribbean films have LONG outstayed their welcome. I continue to take the position that the only reason Transformers became a franchise is because Megan Fox leaned over a car.
And "penguinses is prac-ti-cally chickenses." [Old Looney Tunes gag]

I saw Thor once and remember liking it, but I also don't remember a single thing about it and that's usually not a good sign. The sequel is apparently crap.
Totally agree about the Meghan Fox thing lol. All of the Transformers movies have predictably placed hot girls in them, that's a typical Michael Bay trope.

Yeahh Thor was pretty bad
