All that Roger Ebert said is still true. It's even worse now when some idiot decides to film the whole movie on their phone and share it through Snapchat or any other social media platform.
    We still miss ya, Roger.

Only thing that's improved is more stadium seating, I remember back in the day dreading that someone tall or wearing a hat would sit right in front of me.

I didn't always agree with Ebert, but he was always articulate about his thoughts that even when I disagreed, I still could go, "yeah alright, I hear what you're saying." I miss that man.

This video is So-o-o Chicago. "Natassia Kinski on the Ravenswood line," indeed.

Nowadays, in Canada at least, people don't seem to talk as much during the movie and only need to be shushed once in a while. However, people still like to take out their cell phones and distract everybody behind and to the sides of them, even if the brightness is turned way down. The last time I confronted a guy about this, he was acting like I was the jerk. There should be a policy that if you catch someone using their cellphone, either you or a staff member has the right to take their phone and shove it up where the sun don't shine (since they love their phone so much anyway).

Nice little _The Third Man_ reference. It even has the cat!

The title is a lie, because Roger really does love movies and loved doing his job.

The best critic to ever grace the US. Love his reviews and insights about cinema.

RIP Roger. What I'd do to see all of the movies he got to experience on the big screen... the first film he got to write about for the Chicago Sun Times was Bonnie and Clyde in '67. Quite fitting, that film marked the beginning of the 70s New Wave of cinema, and Ebert's favorite movie decade as a critic.

Bonnie and Clyde wasn't actually the first review Roger wrote, but one of the first.

Haha, funny report. Always lots of fun whenever the boys would do something a little different from just reviewing movies.
