Pikmin 2 will always be a nostalgic gem to me, i still remember the time when i managed to beat it deathless on the Wii port. (It took me years, and i had to reset way too many times.)
Dude respect I remember when I just beat the submerged castle doing it deathless is on a whole different level of knowledge and strategy Now that I’m replying the trilogy this stage will always give me stress I’d imagine deathless anyway … congrats on the run 🥳 looking forward to other challenges you’re going to do on the channel
RUclips walkthroughs like this are typically optimized to be much quicker than the average player. Most people will take around 20 hours to beat Pikmin 2 on their first playthrough.
I myself havn't fully completed P2 myself in the older version, got to the final ending but hav not collected every treasure. those caves later in game gave me anxiety and that 1 that requiered 100 purp pikmin, i still havn't gotten that. maybe in my next playthrough on switch

I plan on doing challenge mode. And yeah, it's the same route with the same order of caves. Some things are done differently, and I made sure to include Bulbmin this time, which I unintentionally excluded from the old playthrough.
In the Submerged Castle, why did you not use the Bulbmin to get the Purple Pikmin?? You would've had a net gain of them without losing your Blues. I don't get it.
I beat the Submerged Castle without the Waterwraith spawning until the Boss Floor and had only 5 Pikmin die. I lost more on the Citadel of Spiders. 35 to be exact.
If you disband all of your pikmin, pressing A will let you punch enemies with your captain! Use one captain with no pikmin to lure the babies away and punch them to submission, and take the pikmin to the front with the other. Bulborb larva eat pikmin so fast that it’s nearly impossible to fight them with pikmin without loosing a bunch.

Yeah, plenty of resets. Nearly all Pikmin no death runs on RUclips took lots of resets.
