Thank you for posting this. Is the Hokuriku Shinkansen to Tsuruga, is that part of the same route covered by the Thunderbird Limited Express between Kanazawa and Osaka? It seems that the Hokuriku and Tokkaido Shinkansen lines are a lot closer together now with this extension, given the 20 to 25 minutes by train between Maibara and Tsuruga. Do you think the Hokuriku Shinkansen would ever be extended to Osaka?
It has been decided that the extension route of the Hokuriku Shinkansen from Tsuruga to Osaka will be via Obama City in Kyoto Prefecture, a different route from the current Thunderbird route. However, construction is running into difficulties due to high prices that are expected to double the original construction costs, environmental destruction along the proposed extension route, and groundwater issues in Kyoto City. However, since it has been decided, I think construction will go ahead. Completion will likely be after 2040.

❇️なぜか、元しらさぎ運転士をしていて、名古屋市営地下鉄の運転をしている人を知っています。プライドを持っています。
実際に乗ると米原で座席転換して30分弱で敦賀到着だと全然ゆっくり出来ないので、金沢まで行って欲しいですね。
敦賀以北の北陸本線独特のジョイント音がまた聞きたいです。
運転士が知り合いにいるのは凄いですね!色んなお話聞けて楽しそう。
一度、爆走中の特急の運転席に入ってみたいです。
ダイヤ改正日乗ったけど米原の方向転換のせいでゆっくりできませんでした

一宮の先の名鉄が普通しか居なくて良かったです😂
「本気を出せない」は言い得て妙です。どうしても北陸新幹線とのスムーズな接続を最優先にした運行しかできなくなり、新幹線の「お供え物」の扱いに甘んじるしかない。
