We actually need better legislation here to preserve our sea life better. For example, limiting catch size and allowing the fish to spawn better.

It’s such a joy to be able to buy fresh and cheap seafood. Top up with a good seafood lunch. What a luxury for a weekly marketing.

Yes it is! You can literally see the seafood keep arriving on the boats. Nibong Tebal town also has some good makan places such as the famous crab porridge.

This vid was taken 1 year ago. But still fresh. Baru tahulah. Haha 😅. The fish market quite far from Penang island, located in Seberang perai. Lots of prawn and crabs. Anything fresh from the seas, cook it, taste delicious 😋

We went during CNY to buy prawns again... very fresh, right off the boat!

Fresh seafood must be eaten soon, freezer will spoil the texture of the fish.

the fresher the better, but sometimes no choice but to keep it on ice

The seafood were incredibly fresh! We cooked the crabs last night and they were fantastic. My dad complained I didn't buy enough crabs! Hahahaha....

True, it’s not easy to get fresh seafood off the boat. Count your blessings. For ppl staying in KL, we need to travel to Kuala Selangor or Sekinchan. Not necessary fresh, may be frozen too.

@@yinyongchew6719 I also buy seafood from Sekinchan whenever I go there. They pack it for me very nicely in ice so it stays cold until I reach Penang!
