The simple solution for a male to not have to pay child support is not making a baby. I don't know why people haven't figured this out.

Also tax payers pay veterans that end up killing their wives as well. So, what is your point with making this comment? The simple solution is don't sign the birth certificate because the system is rigged. Furthermore you cannot be. Forced to take a Child support DNA test because it's a civil case.
My daddy and momma was married and had 4 children. When my mom file for divorce my daddy didn't help financially. Even worse for us, we did have a relationship with our dad either. Now were in our 50s, he's trying to remind us he's our daddy and he loves us. Unfortunately, we dont know him. He's just another man as far as we are concerned.
I truly understand this story. I'm 47, and my mom never got a dime from my daddy 😢

I was born in 78 and my father lived in the same area is us. At 45 I am livid that my mom didn't fight for child support. He did nothing and had the income to do so. I still haven't met him and ok with that, at 70 something this man has done nothing. My resentment is because he lived well, while things were tight for my mom and me. It tired her out. It made parenting suck. You get a trade, you do your best at your job, get a roommate and help mom with hands on care. But you can't just not raise your child nor provide. And to lay up with no protection not thinking a woman will get pregnant is sick.
They should make him pay back support I don’t care if it was in the 70s. These men need to step up 🤬

I saved my pops in 2000. My mom was going to file child support however I convinced her that we were okay since I was working and she was working. Plus my sisters (from different women) needed it more than we did .

I don’t feel sorry for any biological father who being made to pay child support. However, my heart goes out to men who are victims of paternity fraud and those women need to be jailed and forced to pay restitution.

My state automatically is joint custody and joint timeshare. There is almost no child support ordered unless there is a huge discrepancy in pay the parent that makes the most money will pay the other one for half of the month that they don't have the child. What is crazy is that a lot fathers come into the office and do not want the responsibility of having their kids half of the week/time.

This was way before DNA and for sure at least 30% of the kids shown are not even the fathers biological kids. Some of the men shown here went through hell for kids not their own!
Even if your 30 percent guess is correct, 70 percent of kids not being provided for by their dad is far too much.

ALOT OF THE TIME the mothers make it hard for fathers to be FATHERS! and they’re the ones who think they’re hurting the man with child support when you’re really hurting your child. Now your child can only see dad once in a blue moon and dad has to work and dad has to keep living so that one in a blue moon starts to fade. It’s hard to be a dad without your child being in the same house. But like I said women know what they be doing

Most of the average person's child support isn't even enough to walk around "looking good."
Here is the solution: The government should pay the money to take care of those children to help the mothers-no strings attached. Meaning the government will have no power or influence over those children. The father will still be in their lives and they won't have to pay anything. This would give the children a healthy state of mind, the mothers would get the help they need and the fathers would also be free. As a government, you should govern. The U.S. government spends hundreds of billions of dollars on war, hell trillions and trillions. It's time they help their own people and we fix this child support problem because Americans sure aren't ever going to solve this problem. I'd call the program MERCY!

I'm glad times have changed to some degree, and CS is enforced more nowadays thru loss of DL, garnishment of settlements, or wages. Also, those CS orders last forever via back pay. All dead beat parents, male or female, should be penalized heavily for delinquent CS.

Like or dislike, the constitution does not give government power to order child support. My grandma struggled before this illegal act started. Her husband did come and give her money to help from his heart but she never knew which week or month he would show up nor how much each time. So she got a job. She also used charity if needed. Despite the struggle, she related in her 80s she preferred this over unconstitutional thus illegal child support. But hey, Mao said power comes from the barrel of a gun.
