I would say that I would like to talk that way, but often don't because I don't think others are interested. Also I don't think they necessarily were talking about one subject only for 2h, that might be too much for one subject without branching out.
@@amyuca5458 I'm also an INFJ if that wasn't obvious. I think it really depends on which type I'm talking to, since trying to keep up with someone that has very different functions, gets tiring pretty fast. Like sometimes I struggle to keep up with my INTP brother with his TiNe ramblings and him having inferior Fe is sometimes too absent. He is still the one that I enjoy talking to the most in my family.
Im an infj with adhd. I don't talk deep bcs sometimes i forget about the information. Even to a topic that i really interested to. Although my subject very diverse, but it's all just a shallow surface. That's why i always seek people that know better than me.
For real. There's this INFJ that I immediately clicked with. We discovered that we have the same energy when it comes to socializing, same mindset about dating, same attitude about pretty much everything. I mean, it was like I was talking to myself. But what made him different from me was that he's more attuned to what the other person is feeling or even thinking - he basically managed to read me like an open book, and here I was believing that I already know myself. Lol
Yeah pretty much, first date with my wife was just 4 hours of talking. It can be hard with the INFJ bullheaded-ness at times, but it is the most interesting/rewarding investment I've made in my life. They are the few that can actually "get" the whole you (intp), not just your ideas, but can holistically understand you. Good for partnership. XNTJS are cool, but they are really just interested in your Ti to feed their Te.
I broke up with an INTP lately, we had a great time for 1/5 year but i found out he had been lying to me the whole time. Like a psychopath who tried to pretend humanity and feelings are important to him. A close mindee who tried to show otherwise. Irresponsible, Selfish, Lier with narcissistic traits. I feel devastated now.
I'am INFJ my friend INTP , can relate to this absolutely ;) , Meet two ENFP's which should be the same "good story" , but nah... :D .... Beautiful made videos , can't wait too see more ;)
It's cliché that because they are both introverts that they both are just standing around, not talking to others. Nothing wrong with it, because some introverts would act like this. As an INTP, it is my experience that its it not the most comforting thing to introduce yourself to new people, but we do it because of curiosity about people. We also will do it often and again and again even if we get embarrassed because we like taking small risks to have interesting experiences. I don't know if we would just wait for someone to talk to us. Sorry to nit-pick.
I agree, it could have gone either way; the INFJ or INTP approaching. I would say that many introverts will approach people, especially people they want to talk to, and not just wait around at a social event.
@@Barthenn I mean I'd go if my friends or someone else was going, but I definitely wouldn't approach someone I don't know. I'd rather speak to the people I know or wait to be approached lmao
@@fungaltoe3748 For me it would depends which friend ask me to go. But I would prefer not going. If I end up going. I'll do the same as you. Socialize with the ones I know.
Those two got great prospects! Both as Ti users will be able to exchange their thoughts freely and have an emotional connection like no other (both are rare in number and got complementary traits), meaning intellectual stimulation and emotional support. However, my question: how would they manage long-term structure (typical Te), like housing and finances? Initially I'd see an idea brainstorm and possible projection (Ti-Ne + Ni-Ti), but what happens actually?
They may struggle with the Te aspects of life. However the INFJ, being a J type, will desire to take more practical action in life, even if it is executed in a more "Fe way." Not only are the functions that are present important, but the orientation or prioritization of the functions. The orientation of the J-type, tends to make them want to take practical actions. Being a J-type is equivalent having either Ni or Si as the first introverted function. Those functions seek to organize and condense information, and then produce results in real life. The Ni drives the INFJ to organize Ti and Fe information, and then come to a final actionable goal. So an INFJ values Ti, but the ultimate goal is to organize Ti into a bigger Ni picture, and then synthesize new goals. On the other hand, being a P-type is equivalent having either Ti or Fi as the first introverted function. The Ti-dom INTP is internally focused and the main drive is to develop their Ti. In comparison, for the INFJ, the Ti serves the Ni, and then the Ni drives the INFJ to take action. For the INTP, the Ti is the final goal, and it's not as driven towards action. I think in this relationship, the INFJ needs to feel empowered to make decisions, and not wait or look for approval from the INTP, who might seem indifferent. The INTP has to be aware the the INFJ will want to make practical decisions, and respect these necessities of life. The INFJ should be aware not to push the INTP to make too many decisions, and allow the INTP to be as independent as possible.
@@MBTI_Fanatic wow that's an amazing explanation. That's really helped me and I didn't even ask the question. Yes that's exactly how I use my Ti (I'm INFJ). Great distinction 😁. I've definitely been bad with general living stuff like bills through my life but now I'm older I use my Ni to plan my way through it so the disasters don't happen again. When left to my own devices I have become quite system oriented now and utilise reminders and calendars to keep me on track because otherwise its too chaotic and stressful to think about.
