INTP here. Have to agree about 50% with the INTP description (and the remaining 50%: INFJ). When it comes to big 5 traits, I am quite agreeable. Speaking of big 5, my five factor scores align perfectly well with your typical INFJ. Also, I do relate quite well to famous suspected INFJs like Jordan Peterson and Hitler (not the ideological/political part). And for whatever it’s worth, I was born and raised in a textbook INFJ country - Norway. But I’m no INFJ. Fortunately, my mom is an INFJ, and there are quite apparent differences between us. She is an Ni-user, which is a subjective function, so she’ll have a way of wanting the world to be x, y, z. But I, having high Ne, will enjoy playing with words and experimenting with things in my immediate surroundings. I guess we have different stress reactions as well: one of us explodes (Se) while the other implodes (Fe). Actually, INFJs have Se fairly high up in their stack, whereas us INTPs have it as the 7th function. So, INFJs can be rather assuming, yet not judgmental people. ISTPs are both; INTPs neither. Fun fact: we tested our 16p types at school, and there was one INFJ who tested INTP (I was the other way around). It is funny, I really am not much of an organizer, I have organized chaos but I am not INTP, I go in depth on what I study before going on to the next thing. I also have a trait or 2 of INFP but I am definitely INFJ. And of course, any and all traits that deals with dominant Ni is for both INFJs and INTJs, which I have. I believe some things deal with how we were raised and grew up.
Thankyou I needed this, Around half a year ago I did the test and got INFJ and one day I felt change in my attitude and now when I did the same test I got INTP
Wonderful video , i enjoy it so much i have seen a lot of mbti content on youtube they often dont use that much illustrative drawing to get their points i personally think that an mbti content like this have great potential to success , and to even deal with a professional or more complicated subject with ease
The animation is good overall.. but I feel a little scared 😦😧seeing the Faces of the characters (like that Black shade on the face) I guess my suggestion would be to make them more round and cutie ! 😊😊
yeah ill never be able to distinguish between me being an infj or intp cause i feel like a straight 50/50 on everything lol, i think its more od an infj thing but im not sure
The 5th one is kind of a misnomer. Since we have inferior Se and a lack of auxilary Te to back it with efficiency, a lot of INFJs tend to be very disorganized, at least for judger standards. We do dislike and take issue with disorder more than INxPs though, I will say.
As an INTP i would just like to say that we are ALSO very deep thinkers, we simply have the ability to explore idea from different perspectives, and therefor tend to think deeply about the idea as a whole to a point where we can't think about it anymore. Hence why we get analysis paralysis.
all points says that I'm INTP except organized one..may be because I'm allergic to dust so I like to keep it clean..but why I'm testing this here I already take test 2 times on mbti website which says I'm INTP
I am an INFJ but I definitely Jump from an idea to an other ,but all these ideas must be related to each other and give me a full picture of the same argument I am exploring.
Did 2 tests with 2 sites, answered truthfully and got both. Read through why and everything about it and all of the qualities found in both make up my whole personality. Is that possible and why?
2:50 This isn't really correct, this is the difference between Ni and Ne, but INTP's lead with Ti, it's more of an INFJ VS ENTP difference. It's really about how INTP's and INFJ's digest information. INTP's prefer to start by figuring out what information and detail is relevant to gain a logical understanding of how all the pieces fit together by poking and prodding facts against each other to see what happens, they will omit detail if they intuit that it's not relevant currently because they know that they can read it later when they need to. This is an inherently slow process but they tend to end up with an understanding of the subject beyond INFJ's when they are dedicated, this is the reason they are the type that can most easily point out flaws in systems. INFJ's start by focusing on the information they are currently exploring to gain an in depth understanding of the topic at hand, they'll collect all information straight away where the INTP would be skipping bits to go back to it at a later time. The INFJ would initially and more quickly gain an in depth understanding of one singular thing where the INTP would be far slower focusing on the big picture. The INFJ is thereby not considering further possibilities of how this system would function in relation to another relevant system or topic. INTP's are not exploring unrelated topics, but related ones to see how it all fits together, because they are invested in a complete understanding of the subject to please their Ti. The difference is really that an INTP is slower and asks why and wants to understand whereas an INFJ is faster and asks how and wants to know. When the INTP catches up with the INFJ they not only know the information, but they also understand why which tends to lead them to new insights that hadn't been considered before.
I would basically say that infj would search for information they need and stop when they find enough of it when intp search information and "shove it inside the specific boxes" where it might be useful so it's like neverending process. And even if they found a useful information the journey never stops but it depends on how much of energy to play INTP has.
I’ve done multiple MBTI tests, usually The result was I am an INFJ, but some tests told me that I am an INFP. At the end, after this video, I’ve more characteristics of an INFJ.
I'm not sure that i'm an intp, cuz When someone is sad, i try to see that problem with every possible angle, so i can have the base of the problem, i can be kinda messy sometimes, but i can build a base to an project, but i problably would forget that, am i an infj or intp?
What if you gather and go through lot of ideas and many of them have no relationship but some topic you think very deeply.. I am very sensitive and try to choose my words but trust me at times I am so straight forward that even straight line bends. Is their a middle ground between INTP and INFJ.
Pleas do videos on the other introverted types! Most importantly the INTJ 👀 The INFJ gets way too much attention, and is only the 3rd rarest type. The rarest are ENTJ, ENFJ, INFJ, then INTJ according to the most recent studies.
From this video I score more INTP than INFJ. That makes me happy. Because I thought for a good while I was an INFJ, and I really didn't like that type for myself. Now I'm sure I'm an INTP, and almost hate it as much as the INFJ but for different reasons lmao.
I am an INTJ, and there are some traits I have that are in common with INFJ, but those that aren't are in common with INTP, or a mix of them o.o I see myself through rationale thinking and I tend to be very honest with my thoughts, which people often perceive me as blunt and cold (INTP), but I am vastly organized in nature (INFJ). I don't jump from topic to topic, instead I rarely get bored in staying into one and examine them carefully before moving onto the next with the goal of completing this one giant puzzle of connecting information (INTP's brainstorming but with INFJ's tunnel vision). I can also rely on my gut feeling (INFJ), but I am actually able to precisely explain why my gut feels that way, so I consider them worthy of attention for thinking things through (INTP's reasoning skills).
I'm an INFJ-T and I have to say that I'm organized and disorganized at the same time😅. I like making plans, and when is about studying and work I like to keep things nice and tidy but bro... my room right now...😅🤣🤣
Based on what was stated on this video it appears that I'm an INTP. However, if I do the personality test the result shows I'm an ISTP tho I don't think its right because when I read about ISTP it doesn't seem like me. It's confusing tbh, I just want to know myself and what type of personality do I really have to better understand myself.
I'm an IN?P, on the 3rd letter I get close to 50/50 and different from time to time. On the thing with the books, is there not an option to gather several books and read them all thoroughly? I can spend ours reading about the subject even if it's just a small project.
Then you might be neither infp maybe, this test is not really accurate. it can be for some people. You might actually be not introverted intuitive but introverted feeller. I can be NF but maybe other NF type. It depends on what traits do you think you share
I totally relate all INFJ features. 💚 INFJ-T. I relate INTJ too sometimes. If the world could have trees like the one on your RUclips banner, it will beautiful.

I'm an INFJ.
Both my friend and I are INTP-T, but she acts more like an INFJ most of the time. Well, mostly with the organisation part
HOW are there time travelers again@_@
I’m an intp but I am big on organization... or at least interested in cultivating it :p
Thankyou I needed this, Around half a year ago I did the test and got INFJ and one day I felt change in my attitude and now when I did the same test I got INTP
Me too, i got INFJ first but when i did a retake on the test i got INTP-A/INTP-T
What test did you do?

Wonderful video , i enjoy it so much
i have seen a lot of mbti content on youtube they often dont use that much illustrative drawing to get their points
i personally think that an mbti content like this have great potential to success , and to even deal with a professional or more complicated subject with ease
i ticked every infj point here lol Tho my mental illnesses get in the way sometimes
I've done 4+ straight hours of internet research before lol
INFJ here
INFJ army!
This was so helpful for understanding the differences!
I am an INFJ deeply in love with an INTP.
The animation is good overall.. but I feel a little scared 😦😧seeing the Faces of the characters (like that Black shade on the face)
I guess my suggestion would be to make them more round and cutie ! 😊😊
Thanks for the feedback! I will let our animator know!
is this the feeling of time travelling?
Yes time traveler
so what if i relate to both on multiple aspects? 🤯
My sister is often confused whether she is an intp or infj so I sent her this
Thanks
Maybe i should organize more as an infj i mainly only organize what i use or a couple things for others although my room is messally organized
Proud to say that I am an INFJ-T :)
Same here :)
yeah ill never be able to distinguish between me being an infj or intp cause i feel like a straight 50/50 on everything lol, i think its more od an infj thing but im not sure
INFJ here!🙋♀️
I was mistyped as an INTP. I think that it's because of my ADHD. I tend to be unfocused, disorganized, etc. but I have mostly INFJ traits otherwise.
I love being an introvert, although society doesn't want me to be one (ISTP btw)
Same :D -INFP
That's y freak society, oh yeah 😎 -intp
This was interesting. I'm infj and my brother is intp. I can confirm it is accurate and applies to us.
Very useful info!
I was an infj 7 month ago , now I’m intp .
I keep changing
No. You are Infj or Intp forever. The Ti is the key. Bye.
Hence why we get analysis paralysis.
time travel moment
"Time" is one of the topic INFJ like.
You should make more mbti videos!
all points says that I'm INTP except organized one..may be because I'm allergic to dust so I like to keep it clean..but why I'm testing this here I already take test 2 times on mbti website which says I'm INTP
You could be intj
I am an INFJ but I definitely Jump from an idea to an other ,but all these ideas must be related to each other and give me a full picture of the same argument I am exploring.
Did 2 tests with 2 sites, answered truthfully and got both. Read through why and everything about it and all of the qualities found in both make up my whole personality. Is that possible and why?
I'm officially an INFJ
I'm also INFP myself, so I can definitely relate.
This!
This deserves many more likes! Finally someone with a little common sense!!
I’m INFJ
But A little mix INTP about thoughts 💭 😅
I’ve done multiple MBTI tests, usually The result was I am an INFJ, but some tests told me that I am an INFP. At the end, after this video, I’ve more characteristics of an INFJ.
My first mbti result was INFJ-a and I took the test again two times recently, the result was INTP-A. Maybe because I've changed?
I'm not sure that i'm an intp, cuz
When someone is sad, i try to see that problem with every possible angle, so i can have the base of the problem, i can be kinda messy sometimes, but i can build a base to an project, but i problably would forget that, am i an infj or intp?
What if you gather and go through lot of ideas and many of them have no relationship but some topic you think very deeply..
I am very sensitive and try to choose my words but trust me at times I am so straight forward that even straight line bends.
Is their a middle ground between INTP and INFJ.
It seems like I am INFP (4 of 5), but in second question - I am totally not blunt or straightforward, and I am rather sensitive, so still confused
Madam your topic is very well and your voice also sweet and solid
Pleas do videos on the other introverted types! Most importantly the INTJ 👀 The INFJ gets way too much attention, and is only the 3rd rarest type. The rarest are ENTJ, ENFJ, INFJ, then INTJ according to the most recent studies.
I am an INFJ with no filter and I can focus on multiple things at once.
idek if im an intp anymore but like I've taken the personality test like 10 times and everytime its the same result
From this video I score more INTP than INFJ. That makes me happy. Because I thought for a good while I was an INFJ, and I really didn't like that type for myself. Now I'm sure I'm an INTP, and almost hate it as much as the INFJ but for different reasons lmao.
was INFJ until abou t18yo, INTP till now lol. this video has been accurate 90% of the time.
I am an INTJ, and there are some traits I have that are in common with INFJ, but those that aren't are in common with INTP, or a mix of them o.o
I see myself through rationale thinking and I tend to be very honest with my thoughts, which people often perceive me as blunt and cold (INTP), but I am vastly organized in nature (INFJ).
I like making plans, and when is about studying and work I like to keep things nice and tidy but bro... my room right now...😅🤣🤣
Did u clean up your room already or changed your flat/house instead?
Based on what was stated on this video it appears that I'm an INTP. However, if I do the personality test the result shows I'm an ISTP tho I don't think its right because when I read about ISTP it doesn't seem like me. It's confusing tbh, I just want to know myself and what type of personality do I really have to better understand myself.
I'm an IN?P, on the 3rd letter I get close to 50/50 and different from time to time.
On the thing with the books, is there not an option to gather several books and read them all thoroughly? I can spend ours reading about the subject even if it's just a small project.
Somewhere in the middle intj-a
According to the MBTI test I'm an INFJ, but I do relate to some INTP traits.
Then you might be neither infp maybe, this test is not really accurate. it can be for some people. You might actually be not introverted intuitive but introverted feeller. I can be NF but maybe other NF type. It depends on what traits do you think you share
I took the mbti test 5 times and I keep on getting infj but I feel into is more for me but mbti keeps on saying intj
I totally relate all INFJ features. 💚 INFJ-T.
I relate INTJ too sometimes.
If the world could have trees like the one on your RUclips banner, it will beautiful.
