Your words resonate deeply, and I truly appreciate your understanding and empathy. You've beautifully captured the essence of healing: it's a journey filled with ebbs and flows, ups and downs, and just like nature itself, it moves in cycles. This is so true. Your thoughtful words, love, and healing energy mean a lot. It's a comfort to know that I'm not alone on my healing path. Let's continue to uplift and support each other. Much love and healing to you as well. ❤️🌿
It is biting me in the butt!! I am seriously considering going on HRT. For someone with so many chronic illnesses losing the protective aspect of Estrogen can have a devastating impact as I have been experiencing. Inflammation can rise very suddenly and I wouldn't be surprised if the inflammation I had in my eye was caused by this sudden drop in Estrogen and rapid rise in inflammation. All the symptoms started at the same time.
@@tt_looking_glass Me too!!!, but my butt is no longer… just hips into legs! Butt is on the floor somewhere… elbows are dry, so dry from dragging myself around!🤪 ya gotta laugh about it all!!!
Dear Dani, please feel a tight, yet gentle hug from your friends from Waterdown and Brazil. You rock! You are appreciated! And you are an inspiration! Xo
I’m glad you’re feeling a little better. For what it’s worth, I am 56 and have been in full menopause for several years. I feel so much better than I did during peri menopause. I had more anxiety and depressive symptoms during that phase. Take good care of yourself. Sometimes I think we try so hard to be positive and grateful that we forget it’s okay to be down at times. Be gentle with yourself. 🙏🌸
Hi Debra, thank you so much for sharing your experience and your kind words. It's reassuring to hear that you've found relief and improvement in your well-being after going through the challenges of perimenopause. Perimenopause has been very rocky for me. I'm glad there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Your reminder about being gentle with oneself is truly appreciated. Sometimes, we can indeed get caught up in the pressure to always stay positive and forget it's okay to not be okay. Taking care of our mental and emotional health involves acknowledging our feelings and allowing ourselves to process them. I'm grateful for your support, it's comforting to know that I'm not alone. ♥️
You’re welcome!! I was just going to add… that you have been through so much recently. The eye issues after your trip and not know what it was… add chronic migraines and fibromyalgia! Thinking of you and looking forward to your next video… but no pressure! Your health comes first. 💗
Good to see you again.Nature can be so healing and soothing and helps us take the time to reflect.I haven't been depressed but have had some moment where I felt mentally exhausted.Being in nature always helps me breathe easier and be-easier.The park you were in is so beautiful!
Absolutely, I couldn't agree more. Nature has an incredible way of providing solace and rejuvenation. The tranquility and beauty of nature can indeed help us pause, reflect, and recharge. I too have had mental exhaustion, and finding those peaceful moments in nature is a powerful way to hit the "reset" button and regain clarity. 🌿🌼
I'm sad to hear you too have been through the struggle of menopause but I'm happy that I am not alone in this. Thank you for sharing and making me feel heard. ♥️
I deal with fibromyalgia and last year in May the same thing happened to me. I did not want to talk, see anyone. I would have anxiety thinking of people coming to visit me. I was several months dealing with this. I had negative energy in my environment, one person was calling me names, that was affecting my self worth. I stopped doing my videos for 6 plus months. A friend came to see me and asked, "What is going on? We don't see you anymore. I told her how I was feeling and she pulled me out of my dark hole. I made plans for friends to visit and canceled a few times on them and explained WHY to them. I finally got out and back to living.
Thank you for sharing your experience. You've been through some challenging times dealing with fibromyalgia. I'm so happy to hear you have a friend to reach out to and open up about your struggles. Sometimes, having someone who genuinely cares and supports us can make a world of difference in pulling us out of those dark moments. Itring you down. It is important to remove those kinds of energy form our lives if we want the best chance to thrive. Remember that you're not alone on this journey. Sharing your story can inspire others who might be going through similar challenges, and it's a reminder that seeking support and reaching out to friends can have a positive impact on our lives. Thank you for sharing. Also, myslef and two other creator have started a Facebook page for content creators with chronic illness. It's a support page for those of us navigating social media on top of dealing with our helath struggles. If you would like to join us head over to Facebook and look for Chronic Content Creators page and request being added to the page. I would love to see you there and have you share your knowledge with the rest of us.
The force of the storm to damage a picnic table like that must have been massive! Such odd weather all over...parts of Croatia had record 20 cm hailstones. Unreal. When camping do you see wildlife such as moose, elk or bears? Like you, I adore camping and the therapeutic and calming power of nature. I'm so sorry to hear about your depression...I wondered about you. I know you'll be all right but understand how debilitating it can be on top of fibro, migraines, etc. I've had it lately as well and the indifference one can feel is disconcerting. Just having a shower can be daunting. Living above our circumstances can be challenging but it's sure better than being crushed by them. Life just isn't easy and that helplessness can be consuming. But we've got each other's backs. We share burdens. You are not alone. ❤
Indeed the weather has been crazy all over the world. We have had extreme heat and crazy storms all summer long. Camping is a remarkable way to connect with wildlife and experience the beauty of the natural world up close. When camping on regular campgrounds one can expect to see raccoons, squirrels and chipmunks but once you take off into the backcountry, away from cars and people you will see moose, black bears, deer, wolves… I am going backcountry camping in a few weeks and I hope to see some wildlife. From far that is. Lol! Your point on rising above our circumstances is both insightful and motivating. Life's challenges can feel overwhelming, and the feeling of helplessness is something many of us grapple with. Depression, especially when coupled with other health challenges is debilitating. The indifference and heaviness that it brings are difficult to convey, but I gather you understand them well. But you're absolutely right, the support we provide each other, the sharing of burdens, is a powerful reminder that we're not alone in this journey. Thank you for your support and comment. It means a lot to me. ❤️🌿
@tt_looking_glass Good for you! Back country camping is truly unlike anything else. Observing wildlife is a blessing. I'm always grateful for your responses and comments. Your care and compassion are obvious and very touching. Thank you for being genuine and discussing the bad with the good. No matter what, there is ALWAYS hope.
You are welcome and thank you for saying all those nice things about me. ♥️ I am actually leaving tomorrow morning super early for a canoe back-country trip. It will be epic! I will definitely vlog. Don't miss that one as it will be a super fun one. And you are absolutely right about the fact that there is always hope. 🙏
I am so happy that you posted, but I am also so happy that you took a break for yourself which is so important!!❤️ Also a little side note the background of your video is very soothing!!❤️❤️ Sending hugs
I am in exactly the same place you are in, you are not alone. I took have Fibromyalgia, chronic migraines as well as Osteoarthritis everywhere thanks to a hyper mobility disorder. I too am in perimenopause and I am struggling with those changes along with my other health issues, and yes, life has lost its sparkle. I feel disillusioned, disconnected and lost at sea. I know it will get better, just have to let it wash over us for now. Hugs 🤗 ❤
I'm truly sorry to hear about all the challenges you're facing as well. Dealing with multiple health issues, especially during perimenopause, is incredibly tough. I know! It's okay to feel disillusioned and lost during times like these. While it may seem like the sparkle has faded from life, remember that tough times pass, and there's hope for better days ahead. Sending you a warm hug 🤗❤️. We are resilient, and I believe we can find out way through this.
Your kind words mean a lot to me! I'm thrilled to hear that you loved the vlog and that my sharing resonated with you. Thank you for your heartfelt support! ❤️

I'm so sorry to hear about what you’re going through. It sounds incredibly tough, especially after having such a fulfilling life filled with passion and accomplishment. Losing your job and facing these mental health challenges can feel like losing part of your identity-it's a profound shift that would shake anyone. It’s completely normal to feel the way you do in such a situation, and it’s okay to acknowledge the pain and loss. But remember, although you’ve lost a significant part of your life, you are not alone in this. Many have walked this difficult path and found ways to regain a sense of purpose and joy, even if it seems impossible right now. Reconnecting with the beauty in life is a journey, one step at a time. It might help to start small, maybe just sitting by a window for a few minutes each day, trying to find one thing that catches your eye, even if it doesn't bring the same joy it used to. These small steps are not trivial, they're the building blocks to recovery. Please consider reaching out to a mental health professional who can provide you with the support and tools to navigate this challenging time. There's strength in seeking help, and it's a crucial step in rediscovering your new path. Your feelings of loss are valid, but so is hope. You are more than your job and your current struggles. There's a future where you feel better, and I truly believe you can reach it. 💔 Please take care, and keep reaching out. We’re here for you.
