I love listening to you play on Friday Fretworks, Chris. Obviously you are ‘unapologetically’ a Blues/ Rock guitarist, but you go so far beyond that pigeonhole, playing achingly beautiful and at times almost cinematic melodies, cliche free and with phrasing and a feel that very few can get anywhere near. Carry on, please!

I like the word “cinematic” to describe Chris’ playing. The flow in his solos may sound familiar but the notes he reaches for are totally unique. He really could do movie arranging.

Absolutely phenomenal. I don’t have the vocabulary to say anything else. I’ve never seen anyone “ play “ the guitar the way you do. You always hear people say whatever you are doing, be it guitar , cycling , car racing, that you must let the vehicle , in this case a guitar , become an extension of one’s self. I haven’t seen anyone do it better.

Absolutely fantastic. Bravo bravo bravo... I have been playing guitars for over 40 years. RUclips is full of videos of talented guitarists but I have to say that you have really impressed me: sound, bending, timing, phrasing, everything that a musician/guitarist must have. But your feeling and phrasing they truly hit me. So you got a new fan from Italy. Thank you very much for sharing.

Jazzmasters seem to get a lot of (well deserved) hype recently with many artists, like Chris Stapleton, playing nearly exklusively on them.
