(My headunit has home on the left, back and multitask on the right; I'd rather them all together.)
Hi.my stalk theme comes up as soon as I switch on and then I have to select car web guru theme. Though Google ask for the action to be always but again and again my stalk theme pops up. I have purchase new XT theme
Does the screen dim or change to nightmode if you go in a tunnel or shaded areas like the stock radio does? I've never seen it mentioned anywhere.
Can you adjust the built in microphone?
As it's far to quiet nobody can hear you.

@@jansen_vlog yes.. samsung Tab E.. i don't know how to root it... so confusing for someone that isn't a techie... i just would love to have it power down on key ignition off and power back on when car is started. any adivice?

Hey man, any hint on how to make carwebguru to start automatically when turning on the key. Headunit start but with the default launcher for first 10-15 seconds and i have to press on home to get into it. It is set CarWebGuru as default home launcher but for some reason it wont start. and it takes it a time to start...CarWebGuru launching (Car mode) says on the screen when i start it.
I have same problem but I find the solution today.
Go to settings and select apps then scroll down to app permission. There you can choose your favorite launcher as home
paps pag overnyt, then open ko kotse. pag open ng headunit ko ayaw matouch kahit saan. need ko po ireset button bago magamit ulit. pano kaya ayusin tia!

Hey Jasen very helpful videos as always. Quick question mate when I am running Google maps in picture in picture mode I am unable to go out of Google maps even when I have arrived my destination and it stays in picture in picture mode. Tried switching off and on android unit but still no luck, everytime I start the Google maps stays on screen in picture in picture mode and I can't use maps or shut the app.
Hi. Try to press “Back” button until you reach the homescreen instead of tapping the Home button.
Hi Jasen thanks for quick response however it's still out coming out of maps, infact maps is frozen in picture in picture mode, rest everything is working fine... Any more suggestions ?
Is your Google Maps has the latest version?
Maybe try turning it off for now. Go to Settings > Apps and Notifications > Maps > Picture-in-Picture > Turn off.
Then try launching your Google Maps and see what happens.
If you want to turn the PIP on again just enable it and see if it will work now by just pressing the back button instead of the home button.
Hi Jasen I did try to switch off PIP for maps earlier but like I mentioned it remained frozen however later on I reboot my android unit and after reboot maps was obviously off and this time prior using maps I updated my maps first and than used it and it is working fine now. Hi Jasen ! Hope you are doing well. Another question, everytime I switch on ignition of my car my android head unit boots up on its own, even if I switched it off prior switching off ignition. However all factory fitted audio units remains off if you switch them off prior switching off ignition and after switching ignition on again the factory fitted audio system will only switch on when you switch them on manually. Whereas this isn't the case with my android head unit. I want my unit not to switch on by itself everytime I switch on my ignition and should start only when I manually power it on. Any possibilities ?

Hi, I have the same headunit, the place told me it has the options to see your mpg and can also see your tps info and also hybrid information, do you know how I can bring all them options up I can’t find it anywhere
Hi. You need to have OBDII scanner connected to your car and install OBDII app on your head unit for you to see such info.

Demerits- it doesn't open other music app in home screen button
When wil there be a fix for the radio issue? Every time i hit the back or home button, radio stops playing. If Iurn on the radio app, radio plays, but when go back to CWG , it stops. Why can't radio play in the background? This issue began 6 months ago....
Hi. Try turning off permission on your Carwebguru's microphone access. To do this, go to your Android head unit's System Settings -> Apps and notifications -> then tap Carwebguru Launcher app, select permission, then turn off microphone. Let me know if this works for you.
@@jansen_vlog If I disable microphone access, apps and settings buttons in CWG stop working. So this is not a working solution. There is a conflict with background music and CWG. I am not using CWG until it's fixed. I am using Agama launcher without any problems.

Hi. Sorry I’m not sure I understand. Did you mean it switches to screensaver? If yes, just turn off the screensaver. Go to Options Menu > Interface > Screensaver, then turn it off.

Hi. Go to CWG Options -> Interface -> Status Bar (Must be switched off)
how about making phone calls? my tablet doesn't have a phone connection and I can't figure out how to use android auto to connect it to my phone

What is the specifications on that head unit? How much ram does it have? I'm thinking you'd need at least 6gb ram to be safe running apps and a launcher without slowing down
I have a 4GB RAM. Enough to run some apps and launcher without any lag. But it would be best if you have higher specs.

Hi. Make sure you allow CWG permissions to access both your Location and Notification. Go to CWG Options -> Permissions, then turn on both Location and Notification for CWG.

how do you keep your radio connected to the internet permanently, i do it from my iphone and it disconnects from time to time

No. You can download free themes. You may also buy premium themes if you want.

Hi Ryan. If you want to SAVE the theme, you need to buy the Pro Version. But if you only want to open a new theme, just tap "Add page" on the Tools menu, it's located at the lower right part of the screen. You can add up to 6 pages (themes).

I download the Cardura and paid for the road theme I changed the car but how do I change the time to be mph
To change the speed units, go to Options -> Interface -> Speed Units -> then select MPH
@@jansen_vlog not unit's you see how the right corner has the time and then the center also has the time I want to keep the car image and also have the mph

How to change app drawer??
I actually changed it to Nova Launcher and customized it to make like an App Drawer. To change it, just LONG TAP the App Drawer then select CHANGE ACTION then select the Nova Launcher.

No. Nova Launcher is a different app. I only used Nova Launcher and customized it to look like App Drawer. You can download it on Google Play Store.

Okay. So just simply LONG TAP the icon "App Drawer" on your Carwebguru Theme, then once you long tap on that, you will see "CHANGE ACTION", tap that. Then select the Nova Launcher.
Very flakey Launcher.
It used to be real good .But ever since it went to a paywall it broke the interface with the other apps .
And even the pro version keeps losing the settings randomly.
