Thank you so much peng you (friend) ! This is exactly what I needed, my touch calibration was off, touch was only going on a slant line, (regardless wherever I touched. It was a total mess worse than your touch screen honestly). But yeah touching with five fingers, bought the touch calibration thingie, and it immidiately went a lot lot better. After like another 2 touch calibrations finally the android head unit was back to normal.

my android head unit's volume up and down were both making the volume go up (increase). Contacted my manufacturer support and got nothing. This video fixed the issue!

have you try getting into Android Setting and adjust it from there? Something like touch sound.... Hope it helps.

I have a problem with the soft side bottoms on Teyes CC3.. Same problem as yours. Otherwise the rest works. When I try the 5 finger method I am only getting 3 dots instead of 4.! Can’t get it fixed. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Soft side buttons need to be assigned in the firmware of the unit. Your unit firmware may be different than mine (same IPS screen but different SoC). To acess the setting where u can assign those soft buttons, u can go into "factory setting" where you have to enter password.

🥰 No... i don't have iPhone. It was taken with my Samsung S20 phone. Old phone though. Anyways, I just take its mp4 file directly out of the phone. Not sure how you do that with iPhone by exporting. If you are iPhone user, can't you just take out the video file directly?
My touchscreen is unresponsive along with soft buttons. Reset was done as well and no change. The buttons that were set from the steering wheel works so that's how I'm able to navigate. Any advice?
you have to identify whether it is a hardware issue or software issue. If touch functionality due to hardware issue, all you can do is to use wireless mouse. If software issue, you can fix by the above video. Cheers and best of luck to you.

Oh I really hope this works for my new head unit that's just suffered the same problem. It's only been installed for a couple of days and suddenly the side buttons stopped working. I'll post a reply once I've tried this - fingers crossed, and thanks for the upload.

@@lavithhcm Unfortunately, it didn't work. When I tried holding all 5 fingers on the screen, after maybe 5 seconds the screen went totally white and had a single, black cross in position 1 on yours. I touched that, then a cross appeared in position 4, hit that, new cross in position 3, hit that, then a new cross in position 2 and hit that. So my crosses appeared individually in a clockwise direction. At this point, I thought I'd get the dialogue box prompt that you got, but I actually got another cross in the middle of the screen so I hit that.
Even after this, nothing appeared so I tried the process again, but still no luck. My main screen was working okay however, so I could get into settings where I eventually found the 'Touch Learning' option within the 'Factory Settings' section. That took me to a similar icon menu page where I could select the button I wanted to 'teach' the side buttons from. So I re-taught all 5 side menu buttons and that seems to have worked.
FWIW, my car is a 2011 VW Passat estate and it's a Junsun head unit (10.1", Android 12 allegedly) but I'll need to take it back into the garage as they've not fitted the canbus module the kit came with so I can't use the steering wheel controls!
Thanks again for your video, without it I'd not have been able to make the connection between what the 'Touch Learning' menu was showing me and getting the side buttons working.

I have attempted to calibrate a few times, but the lower portion of the screen still does not respond to touch in order to calibrate. Any suggestions? I would really appreciate any help at this point
worst case is that you need to somehow use bluetooth/USB mouse to access factory settings page -> touch calibration in order to restore touch. Usually try the method with fingers few times like shown in the video first.

yeah for those you need to go into "Factory Setting" then enter the password for your unit to access. Once in, look for something called Key LED lighting/colour and increase the brightness. You know whats weird? it just happened yesterday that i cant seem being able to change the color as well as the brightness of those side soft buttons on the side any more. Damn Chinese #AHU

Thinking about buying on of these for my car. Are they ok uality and are they worth the money?

As I said in the video, it might suffer from sunny hot day in the summer, so you might need to use something to cover the screen. Winter is fine with the unit. For me and my old car, it is totally worth it. I prefer to drive in it than my OEM navigation system in 2015 Acura RDX. And if you decide to buy one of these Android Head Units, get the chipset that is more powerful than mine. 🥰

Quick question for u brother. I can’t enter my factory settings bc the screen is too zoomed in so the “ok” button after entering in the password isn’t popping up for me to go forward. How do i zoom out the screen so all the buttons show?
Try quick tap 3 times and hold it on the third. Sorry i am not sure if iy works but that is the first method pop up on google.
