These are so fun. I had a Mini Cooper S (2011) before that which had the trademark 'go-kart' handling and was great fun, but the ST is on another level with how adjustable the chassis is. Brake hard, tuck it in and let the LSD pull you out, or throw it in and go mad with the lift-off oversteer, the choice is yours! And then when you need to just go from A to B, it's such an efficient cruiser. Last of it's breed, too - if you have one, keep it!

I have a 2018 model since 2020 and the only issue is that the check engine light goes on once a few months and before I get it to a repair shop, it goes off.
Too bad ford didnt sell this in North America.. Would've bought one immediately.. I'll have to settle for my mk7 FiST lol... The mk8 is better in everyway that I can see.. at least from my perspective having not driven one.. on paper, it looks like a VERY successful sequel (think Dark Knight)
Its done frequently while racing on tracks, so it’s not stupid, it’s just quicker, as you can keep the car under load while driving to prevent it from making sudden movements, like when letting off the gas mid corner

Nope, the car is very reliable, fun and great value for money. Only thing that can make problems are the brakes if you drive on the track. Greetings

new better brakepads, higher boiling point brake fluid and if thats still not enough, get new brake rotors (vented/drilled)
You would love the i20N, so please take a test drive first…. I did and went for an i20N over the ST

If you want to stop the wheel hop on launch you can get a bottom toque mount with some poly bushes in it helps alot
when it doesnt broke up :D powerflex actually sucks, even the never revision of that mount bushings break

Brauchst nicht vom Gas gehen beim Schalten. Flat Shift wenn die ST Lampe aufleuchtet
kann man machen, hab auch nen 0-200 video mit flat shift, aber in kurven bringt das zu viel Unruhe in den Antriebsstrang.
