Seems a good car bit I'm not entirely convinced with the direction car manufacturers are heading as regards using three cylinder engines. I prefer the smoother and more linear acceleration of four cylinder engines. I understand that three cylinders are more economical and oddly enough, I have a three cylinder Swift at the moment and its quite good to drive, got a good deal on it after seeing it in a showroom on a wet weekend, but its only while I save up for a Subaru as I prefer the way boxer engines sound. I watched this video out of curiosity, if I was younger I would love this car, especially in orange but it wouldn't be an all rounder for me these days. My next car is a long term purchase, not something I will waste money trading in at the end of a silly PCP deal, so practicality and durability and AWD is why Subaru makes sense for me. I don't need high power. Cars like this Fiesta are fun for a while, but there will always be something quicker and to be honest, id just get a second hand Golf R for less money if I wanted a hot hatch.
Drive a fiesta and golf r back to back and you’ll find that the fiesta is a much more engaging drive. I actually prefer the 3 cylinder. They sound awesome whereas most 4 cylinders sound very similar to eachother

It's a bit louder than a normal car on the highway and the ride isn't that great when going through towns and cavernous pot holes. The ride speaks for itself though when the going gets twisty and doesnt bounce around too much when you get going in it
I deliver all over Wales and Anglesey on those single track roads and I've passed a fair few crashes in my 25 years. Driving like this is lunacy. This is why your insurance is sky high.
@@johndanher7392 my insurance was £270 a year for my fiesta, and the road at around 3 minutes is a one way with a speed limit of 60mph. At no point would a guy be doing the same thing coming the other way
@@solmackay Was £270 a year? was that the 1980s? How do you figure no one else would be driving like that? I've see head ons with my own eyes, when they where both driving like that around blind bends, not to mention pedestrians and horses. Why are you trying to justify it, what do you think track weekends are for?
I figure no one else would be driving like that thr wrong way down a one way road. And in your 25 years if driving I'm sure you've encountered the pedal in the middle. I'm not saying driving fast everywhere is good. But driving within the speed limit on local roads that I know well is pretty hard to argue with, no?
@@solmackay I'm not here to argue, I've just ordered a brand new Fiesta Vignale and I am browsing YT reviews. All I'm saying YOUR ON A PUBLIC F**KING ROAD, If you wan't to drive like that book at track before you kill someone, bye.
These back roads look so much fun 🔥
Hahaha love the bike doing exactly 60
Had a Fiesta ST overtake me once and it's actually a lot louder than it sounds

How bad is the turbo lag and what’s the acceleration like when u plant your foot is ur instant?
Turbo lag is minimal, big lug of torque when you put your foot down even in higher gears. Engine truly feels bigger than it is in my opinion
@@solmackay great thinking of upgrading from a 140 1.0 ecoboost, hoping to feel a huge difference
Really liked your video and the style, subscribed!!
Cheers dude

How is the Fiesta as a Daily. Noisy on the highway or not? And how is the ride (ferm, harsh or comfortable)?

Reliable so far?
Yeah no problems as of yet
Of course we want videos with your beaST.... I will appreciate if you show us how flat shift works on this car!!
Keep an eye out for that video then
@3:25, that's not a road that's a path
@@ELLzB3LLz haha welcome to the highlands
So for launch control to work, how warm does the engine have to be?
Just till the needle gets to the middle, 5 or 10 mins of normal driving does the trick
All fun until another guy's doing the same thing coming the other way.
