Most of the people are complaining about the animal's sacrifice in this footage.
I wanna ask them "have you ever thought about these sentiments while putting non-veg items on the corner of your plate in the meal time? Are all these chickens, muttons, beef, porks are grown in the trees? "
We never complain about your traditions like 'burn soul in hell' or " Burkas" then why are you?
Enjoy your own traditions and lets us do our own.
I do worship her as a god and always forever.

"Burkhas" is not even comparable to animal sacrifice. No one is being harmed when people wear burkha, but the cruelty against animal is in no way justifiable. Our tradition, on the contrary, HARMS defenseless animals. How can you compare killing animals to simply covering oneself( I am not even going to start on "burn the soul in hell" which makes no sense). I agree traditions should be respected, but the ones that are outright inhumane and merciless for petty selfish reasons should be called out. Traditions doesn't justify thousands of animal's life taken.

@@ChonzeTaraa first of all you should know about Kumari. Kumari starts from age of 4- to age of late 11 yrs old, before her menstruation. Before her menstruation she had been replaced by new Kumari. Old Kumari will stay with their parents after retirement from Kumari House. She got the huge respect from the country, while she was as Kumari Goddess, after her retirement from Kumari she was treated as a normal person. So if the Government or Kumari Selection Committee provide scholarship, it will be the best... as a respect of Kumari.

Thank you all the viewers for the comments and interest in this video.
It was my graduation project in 2017 so it would be grateful if you’d be generous about any mistakes found from the film! And I can see some are not enjoying the music. I didn’t have much knowledge of Nepalese copyright at that time. So I asked a fixer in Kathmandu to humming one of the famous songs in Nepal on location. I didn’t want to get in trouble in copyright issue (I cannot just download any songs from RUclips!). I am sorry if the music might disturb you but still hope you enjoy the story itself. Thank you!!

We worship kumari as a goddess which is much better than girls who are being raped and abused in other part of the world. I have visited kumari myself and she is like any other girl;she plays, laughs, smiles however when she changes into her sacred attire and sits on her sacred throne, she changes to a goddess. Completely different personality. And no she is not deprived of her education, she gets education not in school but in kumari house.

Just because it's a tradition, it doesn't make it right. Education is knowledge and knowledge is power.
A bad fruit it's like a dead tree, it's only good to be cut down and thrown in the fire, so is a bad tradition.
When a bad habit isn't stopped at it's root, the bad cycle of stupidity and ignorance will produce nothing but poverty, problems and lots more likewise.
I pray in the name of Jesus, that many repent and come to accept only Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, the true Messiah of the whole world.

We worship kumari as a goddess which is better than small girls who are being raped and abused in India and other part of the world. There are rules which she has to follow only when she is in her goddess attire and her sacred seat. And no they are not deprived of their education, they get education not in school but in kumari house. I have visited kumari myself and she is like any other child with special privileges. She plays, runs, laughs, smiles BUT ONCE she sits on her sacred throne with her attire she becomes goddess, completely different personality.
