John, that is honestly so incredibly kind of you and I can't express how much I appreciate your comment. Honestly I appreciate so many of the youtubers doing power ranger content, but for all the Estes, 6th ranger, Julio Coolio, Zeo to Hero, and so on! There are a bunch of people who don't take it seriously, and even though we are all asking for more mature content for power rangers in the show. Those same people aren't processing that there should be mature content from fans as well haha. Seriously John Thank you I am so grateful to have someone like yourself enjoy what I'm doing!
As always! Thank you for the positive vibes! And I tried to show how it was completely possible! They could of built it up more and more. Even after these shows were gone they could of used them in cameos. Add to the lore of the universe
Another great video, thank you again! Growing up it took me a bit to realize that a bunch of the shows I watched, PR, Beetleborgs, MKoT were all produced by Saban. I had always hoped that they would do more crossover episodes or build a universe with all those characters kinda like what the MCU is today. But that was a different time as far as story telling goes, having multiple IPs etc, and the budget that they had wouldn't make something like that work without spending alot more money. Still the crossover episodes and team ups were some of my favorite episodes and I'm thankful for what the writers and producers throughout the PR franchise have given us also thankful for what you produce for us fans too! I really like alot of the ideas on how Saban could've done more as far as crossovers, even on a more restricted budget. They definitely had the resources or opportunities to make some of these things happen, although I'm sure alot more went into it, but I could see how alot of these could be implemented story wise BTW with is PrisimRanger....RUclips has been screwing me on posting comments for some reason
Not sure whats up with comments on youtube sorry prism ranger! Saban had the money to make AMAZING crossovers. But of course he didnt want to put in that much money. So it restricts what was truly possible that day in age. They are fun episodes. I love seeing the crossovers and team ups. Thanks for the positive vibes my friend! I'm so glad you like the videos I make. I really love this channel and community so much. I dont get to go to comic cons or power morphicon so this channel has madd me feel connected to the rest of the fandom. Thank you again!
@@mightymorphinconspiracythe5024 its all good, I've had the same thing happen to my other accounts so it seems to happen randomly. But yeah Saban definitely had the money to make alot of things right with PR, and the writing team definitely could've capitalized on so much more but regardless the team ups and crossovers are still some of my favorite moments in PR But thank you again! I don't get to go to any conventions or have any local friends that I can share this experience with so I'm really thankful for fans like you and everyone here in this community where we can come together and have fun with something that's supposed to be fun
@@prismranger I am with you on that! I say it in the videos how overwhelmed and blessed i feel to have all these people comment and make connections like you! Its very true. I've also done some music content and it has had some fun moments, but over all people in music like to tear each other down a lot. At least in the jazz world. Once I started doing this channel I didn't realize how much I'd love being in the community like this. It's just amazing. And I love that I get to make something that you enjoy!
@@mightymorphinconspiracythe5024 thank you very much for that too, I definitely appreciate that alot and I appreciate that you appreciate it 🙏 But I can totally relate to that with the music. I have been playing in bands most my life and professionally I do Audio Engineering in the DC area. There is alot of negativity and tearing people down in that scene so it's really nice to be apart of a community that is so supportive and genuinely nice, for the majority, it's a breath of fresh air
I always wanted a Saban cinematic universe, but Saban always saw these properties as disposable. Mystic Knights only existed because Beetleborgs was too expensive and ran out of footage, Beetleborgs only existed because Masked Rider saw middling success and the kid Ranger concept was proven concept in MMPR and Turbo. VR Troopers had poor toy sales, and Bandai wasn't interested in making toys for such old source footage, which is why the more recent Kamen Rider Black RX and B-Fighter were adapted after VRT. The Ninja Turtles crossover only happened because production in Canada ended, the suits were shipped to California, and Saban still had the rights to use the Turtles. Plus, Koichu Sakamoto had worked on Ninja Turtles 3, which may've been a motivating factor - but that's just speculation. They were always chasing the next MMPR, without wanting to invest in it, because PR never needed that kind of investment outside of the Zyu2 era, but it proved the cheaper approach means bigger returns. The first Turbo Rangers weren't happy to move on, except for JDF. His decision to quit, and pursue other roles (until he realized his only value is cashing in on MMPR nostalgia), lead to all the other actors being blindsides with their firing, even though there were plans for Adam to be the new Tommy. There's an old interview with Catherine Sutherland where she talks about how broken she was by being fired after giving up everything to move to America.
Justin In turbo was a result of Beetleborgs. Not the other way around. Mystic Knights was more inspired by the success of Hercules and xena warrior princess. They were trying to copy those shows. But I agree Saban looked at these as throw away concepts. Which is too bad.
@@mightymorphinconspiracythe5024 The theming behind MK was proven by Xena and Hercules, but its conception was likely more due to Ireland having enticing tax credits for any show willing to shoot there. Kinda like how Saban took advantage of New Zealand policies about including NZ and Maori culture in Dino Supercharge (tax credits were also the reason Ninja Turtles, Los Luchadores, and The New Addams Family shot in Canada). Beetleborgs was very successful and could've continued to be profitable if they shot new footage, and clearly Bandai was committed to the brand given all the late series toys and the later "Beetleborgs Force" line. But it was cheaper to shoot original footage for Mystic Knights in Ireland, likely due to tax breaks. Shuki Levy had been pushing for kid Rangers before it was a proper thing. Season 2 and 3 featured kid Rangers as a poof of concept. He scouted Blake Foster for the role of Justin before Beetlebogs began production on the set of Rusty: A Dog's Tale, which released in 1998 but was shot in 1996.
Hey there man awesome video dude I love your videos and stuff that you do and you’re definitely right we were robbed of not seeing these crossovers happen in the pr universe. I would’ve loved to see them actually happen especially the masked rider, bettleborg and Vr Trooper ones. Keep it up with your videos pal. Much appreciated and love your friend Austin.
Have you considered a theory about Ninjor and what happened to him after Season 3 of MMPR? I think it would be interesting to theorize his role in things like the master morpher, the legendary ranger keys, etc
@@mightymorphinconspiracythe5024 I'm still thinking about the "what if" for "Mystic Knights: Battle Thunder." The first "what if" is "what if Nemain merge with the dark fairy Mider to become more powerful?" The second "what if" is "what if Nemain brought back Seethchenn from the Underworld?"
This is a small theory, but recently I thought it would be cool if Justin becomes Blue Senturian in the future (human into robot?) or Justin’s robot copy becomes the B Senturian. All we really know is that B Senturian is from a possible future.
11:04 that’s not exactly what happened. Jason David Franks was the only actor that wanted to leave PR at the time but agreed to stay on for 19 episodes of Turbo. Saban fired the entire cast cause of that. Johnny Young Beast who played Adam was getting ready to work on an episode when he saw an ad for replacing him. Yeah he wasn’t happy with Jason Frank after that for a bit.
When you get fired from a project you probably don't feel like coming back so soon. Sort of like being dumbed and then being asked to go on a double date with your ex that never really gave you closure. I talk about it more in Power Rangers In Space video I did. The cast got treated pretty crappy. Really sad honestly.
@@Shadothecat Steve Cardinas went to the execs and asked for the cast to get a raise. They replied by telling him they were letting him go. And they wrote him out of the show. Catherine and Nakita both weren't planning on leaving the show. They talk about it on their youtube channel.
@@mightymorphinconspiracythe5024 Steve had talk for years that at the beginning of turbo he wanted out. One of the main reason being the downgrade of his character Rocky as Adam was put in a more 2nd command role when Tommy wasn't around in zeo. Something they made sure not to repeat again when tj went from red to blue. There a reason Justin felt like a last minute change, because he was. It like people that assume the original red, yellow, and black walking out
Vr troopers was my non power rangers Saban show never could get into any of the other shows!... didn't even know los luchadores existed but now I want to see it just for Sarah Carter alone!
I'll be honest I watched the show shark and Sarah was in it and she is gorgeous. I wondered if she had been on anything else and when I saw on IMDB she was on Los Luchadores I was amazed. I watched some of it when it was on tv. I had no idea that was the same actress.
I was hoping for either a VR troopers power ranger cross over or big bad beetle burg cross over. Justin was closer to those kids ages than the power rangers ages. I can see Drew and Justin goofing off together. Totally miss opportunity. Now all 4 of them are adults.
I actually found both volumes of Next Mutations over a month ago at a second hand store, for only $10 total. Somehow, they were still in their original packaging. They're region 1, but I've a multi region DVD player, so I can watch them no problem. The fourth disc includes the In Space episodes the Turtles show up in... I say, when they literally only appear in Save Our Ship, the episode before Shell Shocked in the last 10 or so seconds before the end credits roll. It's even stranger that the Turtles don't believe the Rangers are real when you remember that, at the beginning of Zeo, the Machine Empire was attacking THE WHOLE PLANET. I'm pretty sure the Turtles would've had to help with keeping New York safe until the invasion backed off, so how and why didn't they investigate what the invasion was all about? And, HOW do the Rangers know about the Turtles but not the other way around? Splinter was right in their show, the Turtles weren't being stealthy enough if the freaking Power Rangers and even Astronoma herself knew about them. I guess Zordon could've mentioned them at some point. He'd have sensed when Dragon Lord took over and then escaped the Realm of Dreams, but... that's a big if. As for Next Mutations itself, aside from the last 6 episodes, I actually kinda like it. It's got its flaws, big ones, but, for the most part, I can see why some people liked it. It mainly helps to not think about how dangerous Dragon Lord was hyped up to be in the 5 part opener, East Meets West. So long as you just think of him like Shredder from the 80s show, it's actually a fun show to watch. Though, one definite criticism I have is the colour of Venus's mask. Light-blue makes it too similar to Leo's. It SHOULD have been white. Would've made her stand out more as her own character. Not one I'd rewatch too often, but Still fun, all the same
It's honestly not to terrible. I mean it's cheesy but so is everything in that era. But it was a fun show I think. And that is awesome you found it for that price. I'm not sure how available it is right now.
Very cheap and easy way to tie some thing together: Wes' Battlizer in Time Force was fire themed knight’s armour, could have had a line about it being an upgraded version of Rowan's armour from Mystic Knights! Then again Time Force seemed to be where they completely abandoned the idea of having an expanded universe with the other stuff, best example is Nadira watching an episode of Masked Rider in one scene pretty much removing it from canon. Yeah a simple fix is saying she was watching archived footage of Dex from the future, but everything in the scene implied that it was a TV show in universe and was just meant to be a fun little Easter Egg. Still, even without an expanded universe it’s still fun to see Easter Eggs pop up here and there.
Yeah, the Saban runs have always been full of missed opportunities. Take the Turbo Movie, for example - why did evil Jason and Kimberly fight Tommy and the gang unmorphed (and sillier enough, as equal matches, making the new Turbo powers look really weak)? They could have had them morph, it'd have made for a more interesting, sensible and nostalgic fight. A nice throwback-flip to the Good Jason vs. Evil Tommy from MMPR Season 1. Even in the Neo-Saban era, they decided they'd pass up perfectly good opportunities from the get go. From the start, they had Ricardo Medina back for Samurai, and decided to use him as the new character, Dekker. What they should have done is literally had him be Cole Evans again - a Cole Evans corrupted by the Nighloks; Afterall, this would still easily mirror the story they had used for Dekker, just without the time jump. Considering how dark Cole Evan's history was at times in Wild Force, this would have worked well - and would have made the rivalry between Jayden and 'Dekker' stronger and more engaging, considering it'd be the newest Red Ranger versus an older one. The story could have stayed largely the same otherwise, and they'd be no real need to explain whom Cole Evans was to new viewers beyond that, but it'd have been a nice nod to the extended universe and helped them re-engage old fans the same way they had hoped to by bringing Paul Schrier's Bulk back for the season. These are just two of the more obvious examples, but there is a tonne more. I'm glad Hasbro aren't as eager to waste these opportunities as Saban always was.
The Turbo Movie would of been cool to see the original suits. It might of pulled away from the Turbo part though. Outshined it in some way maybe. But it probably would of been better received with them in it. Honestly the reason I've heard for the evil Jason and Kim was because they begged Jason to do the movie and he said only if I get to be evil. So they made it happen. They were also possessed by evil so that has something to do with their super strength. Cole would of been a much better rought for the Dekker character. And thats sort of the point for this video. They just pass up great plot lines. Cole being turned into a monster mirrors the Zenaku storyline in wild force with Merrick. Missed opportunity and I doubt we will be seeing Ricardo on the screen anytime soon. Hasbro is killing it! I am loving what they are doing, and I hope it continues.
@@zeokingsilver They could have still killed Cole Evans off if they had wanted; A tragic end. New fans, young kids, wouldn't know him beyond how well they knew Dekker. If they could handle Dekker's death, they'd have been able to handle Cole's death. Older fans, people more attached to the character, considering Wild Force was a decade or so old by that point, would be old and mature enough to handle the death; Look at how positive the response to Kendrix's death was in Lost Galaxy - because at that point the show was maturing with its audience rather than babying them. The newer fans wouldn't be familiar enough with a heroic version of Cole to get upset, and the older fans would have respected the show for not babying them about the death of a character they knew.
I was planning on writing a fanfiction which would be a giant crossover with Power Rangers, VR Troopers, Masked Rider, Big Bad Beetleborgs, and Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog. I considered including Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters From Beverly Hills and Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad, but I thought I should limit it to Saban shows only. My idea was that Lord Zedd teams up with Grimlord, Count Dreagon, Vexor, and Queen Maeve so Zordon recruits all the heroes to fight them.
@@mightymorphinconspiracythe5024 I think I will write it, I’m not sure about Alien Fighters or Samurai Squad. I may also include Los Luchadores since it’s also Saban but I know nothing about that show.
I think since Tier na Nog was set in the past, we could've had some little nods to Power Rangers rather than a full blown crossover, like showing a previous version of Zordon before he became the entity that we know, or have some nods about the ancient battle that imprisioned Rita Repulsa in the Moon.
Hey, good job making this video telling us the concept team-ups to create a Saban-Universe which the upper-echelon got too lazy for their own good by not planting these seeds to grow that said-potential universe; it could've been really cool doing so-many great crossovers and gain so much interest in not just Power Rangers, but also other properties within their disposal. Also, the fact that Haim Saban didn't want to pay their stars the high-amounts of money (which they truly deserve, especially the Original Six when MMPR was BLOWING like GANGBUSTERS!) just because he don't want anybody bigger than the show itself is absolute petty and illogical junk. He just can't get his own ego out of the way for the greater-good of a popular show that was a really hot commodity at the time. If I was running Saban at that time, I would Protect the Original Six BY ANY MEANS NECCESARY!
He made a billion dollar the first year of power rangers... he couldnt give them enough to continue being in the show. Its just crazy, and yep its dealing with a very big ego who feels entitled to take everything for himself.
@@mightymorphinconspiracythe5024 WOW, A BILLION BUCKS in Revenue during the very first season of MMPR when the Merch Blitzkreg occurred and Haim Saban let ALL THE MONEY gone Straight To His Own Head and made his own ego too big for his own britches; That right there is not only a slap to the face to the Original SIx who were Instant SATURDAY MORNING ROYALITY when it just debuted, it was like a KICK IN THE BALLS to them! What Haim did was basically pulled a Jerry Heller when N.W.A. was blowing up like crazy once Straight Outta Compton was printing money like it was going out of style. Again, If I was running Saban when MMPR was blowing up like crazy, I would Protect not only the hottest commodity that is the aforementioned show, but also PROTECT The Original Six (Jason, Trini, Zack, Kimberly, Billy, Tommy 🔴💛⚫💖🔵🟢) By Any Means Necessary!
@@hdx4437 You would think so but when you are a millionaire turned billionaire you probably don't have a large concept for others at least Saban didn't. He was wanting to make a lot of money and get out. He threatened the cast all the time that he could just fire them and get new people each season like sentai did it. Its just sad. But there is nothing you can do its how he views the world and unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it.
@@mightymorphinconspiracythe5024 Damn, now that you add that fact of him just want to make quick money and get out makes himself look ungrateful and don’t have any heart on the Game-Changing concept that really shook the entire Saturday Morning/Children’s Programming landscape in its very foundation, but also left a really significant mark in Television History in so many ways; he’s kinda like a Blessing & a Curse in terms of him making this very show that was a GAME-CHANGER and at the same time he was just a creatively-lazy/greedy jerk who neglected the very stars (The Original Six) that really got the party started and brought millions of kids all over to the dance (ourselves included) in the first place. I have No Respect for Haim Saban at this point, I still got Love for The OG Power Rangers (also love for Aisha, Adam, & Rocky). I know it was very long reply, it’s that I want to vent about it tbh.
@@hdx4437 it is a blessing and a curse like you said. He got what he wanted out of this show. He made money and he made sure he got almost all of it. But these actors and actresses have been given a life long career all these years later. The original rangers and everyone beyond that who have been on the show have been given the opportunity to do cons/panels. They do have to put in the work, but they have the option to make money by doing so. Nakita who played Tanya in Zeo invested in making Ranger Stop. So she has made some money, but she had to take that leap of faith in investing. (In his defense so did Hiam Saban) So again its a gift and a curse. In the end I think both of us are grateful for the show, what is honestly sad is that Hiam made this and he will never see the joy on peoples faces. He wont ever come to a power morphicon. He will never have the life of a Stan Lee, who soaked up every moment with fans who his creations inspired.
Interesting video. If I may I want to share some ideas. I have thought for a while that in-universe there are Teams that pre-date MMPR. Since there are always retcon, Everything we know currently is canon in my head cannon. 30,000 years ago on Earth during the last age, there existed the Muiranthias Empire (Power Rangers Atlantis). Muiranthias was an Empire that co-existed and lived together with a Kingdom Magic beings (Mystic Force example). Muiranthias was a highly advanced empire with a perfect combo of Magic and Technology. A day a fissure opened and an Empire of Demons; (ancestors to many of the evil factions we know), the Muiranthians barely managed to banish and seal the Demon. Millions of them were able to portal to other Planets. With the Empire in ruins the People scattered and the remains were sealed in a pocket dimension guarded by a group of powerful Fairies and their guardian beast. (Note this idea is based on the 1989 series Turboranger) 13,000 years later, When a group of the Demon descendants started a campaign of Conquest (Dark Specter is the leader and survivor of this faction), a trio of prototype Rangers were created to combat them. This trio contains (Gorenger, Jakq and Battle Fever J). When the trio are mostly defeated the survivors merge and form 1 Team, this team becomes the Definite Battle Fever J with the the Country symbols replaced with the Card symbols of Jakq. (This team is mentored by the ancestor of Zordon). (Note during this time on Earth the first conflict with the Gouma and the Chi Warriors happen (Dairanger, this is the origin of Lord Zedd) (Think the origin of Lothor mixed with elements of Dairangers) 1500 years later, A young sorceress named Rita is manipulated and joins the ranks of a faction lead by Zedd under Dark Specters command. Zedd assignments Rita the task to help in the conquering of many Planets. The first of these is a trio of Planets in Eltars home Galaxy. This is the beginning of the 2000+ year conflict mentioned in the MMPR Day of the Dumpster audio casette. This first conflict contains the Denziman/Sun Vulcan seasons. After this draw, there is a period of a few centuries into between battles. The remaining teams before the 10,000 seal are Dynaman Battalion) , Bioman, Changeman (Blitz) , Flashman (Prism) , Maskman (Lightning), Fiveman (Supersonic), and Jetman, Jetman features the sealing of Goldar, Finster, Squat, Baboo, and Rita in a dumpster on the wandering Planet Nemesis. Nemesis (the same Planet as in Zyuranger) comes into Earth orbit once 10,000 years. The Fiveman and Jetman will have a new team for the Super Sentai World special. Now to Season 2 of MMPR, My idea is this due to freeze from Pirantishead, and the damage from Zedd; the Mastodon, Pterodactyl, Triceratops, and Saber Tooth Tiger zord have terrible system damage that will require time to repair, Zordon cautions the Rangers of the need for new Zords to allow time for others to be repaired. The events of The Wanna-be Ranger to Song of Guitardo happen as normal only we have the Dinozords still. Green No More gets extended to a 4-5 parter allowing a Dairanger vs Zyuranger ranger and Megazord battle to happen. Jason, Trini, Billy, Kimberly, and Zack acquired purified forms of the Red, Yellow, Blue, Pink, and Green Dairanger powers. An arc takes place where the Rangers learn to use Martial Arts styles seen in Dairanger. Zedd after Green No More banishes for a time Rita's Crew as they are still loyal to her and US versions of the Generals from Dairanger are introduced. Rocky, Aisha and Adam are introduced in a multi-parter called Shaolin Showdown. They eventually replace Jason Trini and Zack as the Red, Yellow and Green powers are more compatiable with Rocky Aisha and Adam. Jason, Trini and Zack keep their original power now the coins are repaired. Rest of Season 2 happens (including Tommys return as White Ranger) Season 3: The Ninja Quest 4 parters happens but there is a difference the Thunderzords are not destroyed just severely damaged. Aisha, Billy, Kimberly, and Adam get entrapped in scrolls that Rito scatters around Earth. The Aquatar Rangers come to Earth to help in the battle with Rito, Rita and Zedds unified forces. (In this version, Rito was and Vile were sealed on Aquatar to protected the Universe. Rito is set free by accident from the Red and Black rangers). Rocky and Tommy go on a quest to retrieve the scrolls. This includes Ninja zords. The Aquatar rangers will already have the Battle Borgs and Shogun zords. The rest of the events from the season 3 happen. During this time the Aquatar Rangers and Ninjor teach our rangers the ability to make temp clones for use of others powers. Zeo: With the Super Sentai World special having severely damaged the Thunderzords the Earth rangers including Kat acquire the Zeo powers. Zeo happens as normal. The Rangers see the Beetleborgs conflict with Borg slayer and come in time to prevent the destruction of Gigantis and the AVs. Turbo (Carranger): Archaeologist unearth and break the seal containing the smaller faction of the Demon from the many millenia earlier conflict. The Zeo Rangers battle the Demon but are captured. The Fairies that awaken, recruit TJ, Carlos, Ashley, Cassie and Justin to help defeat these Demons and rescue the Zeo Rangers. The Carranger vs Ohranger special happens. Zeo Rangers break free of the Demon mind control. The Zeo rangers go off to College/University but mention if help is needed they will come. Our Turbo Rangers meet the Metallix Beetleborgs and help in the final battle with Crustaceans. Rest of Turbo. The Turbo and Rescue Megazords are severely damaged by Goldgoyle, the Robo Turbo Rangers are reprogramed to serve General Havoc by Porto In Space happens as normal and we get the Megaranger-Carranger special. The Robo-Turbo rangers are freed from their evil programming Robot Justin is replaced by human Justin. The events leading to countdown to destruction the Rangers with from the Zeo and Turbo rangers prevent the Delta Megazord and Mega-Voyagers destruction.
They had each show separated and said well this one isn't profitting as much as these. Let's cut that one and do this show. They didn't think we could use this show that isn't performing as well to help push this universe of superheros forward. Not every single MCU show or movie is perfect but they use them to grow.
Sooooo, so many missed opportunities with this potential universe. A thought I have had forever is all these hero teams are drawing power from the Morphin grid just in different ways. A way to do crossovers could have been to promote a special episode of power rangers and drop hints towards the other heroes. Example a rangers episode that drops hints to Beetleborgs then tail end of it announce that the school will be having a visit from some guests from Charterville. Do the same with Beetleborgs and have hints to the rangers and reveal to the kids that there will be a field trip to Angel Grove. Finally we have the actual crossover episode where both teams meet and fight the enemies.
Thank you James! I tried as hard as I could to make this 100% realistic. Of course as fans we wish they had invested some money into this stuff. But the reality is they weren't going to do that.
I really loved this video and I agree with your points I have a video suggestion if you dont mind since its similar to this video. As we all know Power Ranger Super Megaforce was a dumpsterfire. With a lot of unexplained things going on and a lot left to desired. So I was wondering, if you could do a video on the potential that this anniversayr season could have had/and how to make is better. If you havent watched Gokaiger (my fav super sentai/their japanese original) then I apologize in advance for the spiolers (but they are needed for this). 1. Making Super megaforce a seperate season I think this 1 is very obvious (for many reasons). Instead of keeping the same cast, how about after the final battle of megaforce, a new set of rangers is forced by gosei to travel the world to get the rangers keys (cuz maybe he has heard of a new power source or something). Plus for the "special powers" (the rangers that werent adapted) they could travel to different planets to earn them by proving there worth. With that, the explanation of why we havent heard of the other rangers makes more sense (and if the demand would be there then Saban would have expanded on them with a series). Another point being since they are pirates how about having this new set of rangers, be the most rebellious one. Having them use the powers for selfish reasons, but then learning on what it means to be a rangers. Having them fight against each other or having then quit the team. 2. More cameos from past rangers I think this 1 is obvious too. I enjoyed the cameos we have had (like the 1 with the jungle fury ranger even if it was a 1 to 1 copy of the gokiager ep) but for the older fans, it could have been a joy to see more. Maybe we see a member of lightspeed rescue as he saves someone with our new set of rangers. Or another Ranger is testing them in a way. Maybe the new Rangers save a ex ranger. Basically everything that could make sense too have old rangers come back. 3. Crossovers with Masked Riders/Beetleborgs Gokaiger had crossovers with Kamen Rider (Maseked Rider) and with the metalic Beetleborgs (tokusaku Metal hero series). If saban wanted to revive these 2 series (or would have never stopped them). Then our team could have teamed up with them for an episode (seperate ofc) and as a "thank you" or rangers could have gotten Masked Riders/Beetleborgs keys. To show that our rangers can also take on other forms and abilities. Plus these 2 shows could have gather a new fanbase. 4. Having the Rangers discover that they can use the keys for the megazord In the Gokaiger movies (and series I think) it was demonstrated, that the gokaigers have keys for there megazords. Maybe the rangers loose in a battle with the megazord very badly. After that gosei could give them the megazord keys as a power up for the zord, and explain that he made them after seeing the Masked Rider ones working. Or he simply wanted the rangers to test them out. This can demonstrate, just how powerfull the rangers are. 5. Having them all transform more into 1 color Honestly there is no real reason lol. Maybe they could do an Focus episode for each member, and then have them transform into that color. Plus then can always just transform into special/6th Rangers. 6. Having them Transform into future rangers In the future Gokaigers crossover episodes with other sentais/and in the 10th year movie. It was made clear that the gokaigers can morph into the future rangers (for them past rangers obviously). Maybe if in the future our megaforce rangers would make a return (aka our new set of rangers) they could explain that the rangers gave them the powers (or they travelled to other planets as always). This could tease other teams and have them do more shows on them and prove on how powerfull the rangers are. sorry if it was too much, and sorry for the grammar english isnt my 1st language and I wrote this when I was like half asleep but I hope that you liked it. Have a nice day/night
I might tackle that down the road. It is definitely a LARGE subject. I don't like to ever crap on a ranger season but they built up Megaforce as this unbelievable anniversary season... and it was obvious the love and dedication was not there. I understand the disinterest in spending a lot of money. Rangers isn't at the peek of it's popularity anymore and its still a low budget show, but they definitely could of done way more. Actors could of recorded their ADR anywhere in the world and we could of gotten suits out and filmed some great crossovers. Or just given these morphs more time. Your suggestions are awesome I am with you on it. I they left out so many opportunities in this season.
@@mightymorphinconspiracythe5024 yeah it is a lot but I think thats what a lot of super sentai fans (and power rangers fans) wanted for this season, something different and nostalgic mix with new stuff. Maybe with that direction or an different TV network who would be willing to make it happend (and have the passion for it) it could have worked out. Maybe seeting a more mature tone with it too like older seasons. And I agree with you abou how they could have gotten the actors and suits. And thanks for the quick reply
I recently rewatched Countdown To Destruction thanks my Ultimate Rangers collection DVD and, it was as I was watching it that something suddenly occurred to me... that gave me a massive headache when I tried to figure it all out. There are OTHER Power Rangers on Earth even during that point in the series. The United Alliance of Evil's global invasion of Earth was exactly that, global, meaning... their army was fighting multiple Ranger teams on Earth too! And, no, I'm not talking about the Zeo Rangers or even the Blue Turbo Ranger. Remember, the Ninja Storm Rangers, both Wind AND Thunder, had their own training schools, so, even before they became Rangers, their teachers would've had the means to defend against the incoming invaders. The Jungle Fury Rangers too. Their masters, though not Rangers themselves, could easily fight back the army. There's even the freaking Samurai Rangers who could fight back! Remember, it's well before Jaden's dad sacrificed himself to partially seal Master Xandrid back in the Netherworld at this point, so his dad's team of Samurai Rangers would actually still have been active at the time of Countdown to Destruction, which is freaking insane to think about! It's actually kinda brain scrambling when you stop and really think about it. The only reason I can guess (aside from their series obviously not yet being established at the time) Astronoma hadn't apparently noticed all these other people, including MORE Power Rangers, during the invasion, was the forces sent to each of those areas of Earth were getting so easily wiped out, the few survivors thought it better not to let her know and just pretend they'd conquered those areas. After all, if the invasion succeeded, Astronoma herself could focus all the army's forces on those areas later. Not to mention the Ninja Turtles. They were probably fighting a good portion of the invasion forces in New York. And, if the Rangers do exist in the same universe as VR Troopers, Beatle Borgs and so on, they too were probably fighting back against the invasion. I wonder if the Beatle Borgs had gone Metallics by that point 🤔 Still... I don't think I'll ever be able to watch Countdown to Destruction the same way ever again now that this has come to my attention
Well I think that the zeo rangers were probably doing something else. That's my theory on the hexagon idea. But from your other comment about the turtles not knowing the rangers. THey did grow up in a sewer so they probably don't know a ton of pop culture at that point. But They could all of been fighting around the world. We only a small portion of it. That would be cool if they started to base new seasons back to countdown to destruction just like Avengers first defending New York
My childhood was beetle borgs kamen rider dragon knight mystic knight time force in space lost galaxy dino thunder..im 27 years old I love power rangers
I love that they've gone back and used a few of those for the more recent power rangers with Captain Choku and stuff like that. Hopefully they will keep doing it
A few things that make the lack of crossover between Power Rangers and VR Troopers more disappointing is that Pineapple the Clown makes an appearance in VR Troopers as a Rodeo Clown/Skug...
Man! This whole video is a giant reminder of the massive amount of NEWness Power Rangers was. Honestly is awesome to start off small, but it sucks just how many lingering threads there were when it came to each season brought, though I consider Power Rangers Lost Galaxy one of those incredibly well-written shows that really tried to expand the series after PR in Space! These seasons really showed the potential of the Series when done well! So it’s a damn shame that a lot of that potential got screwed up during Mega Force! It seriously could’ve done Legacy Episodes that Crossed over a lot of the past season Rangers! Lord knows Saban Had plenty of Cash on hand to do that! What they could’ve done even better was instead of Smashing two Seasons together, they could’ve Opted to build Up the Big Power Rangers Gathering instead of shooting their load on the first Episode! They could’ve used Goseiger (the whole season) to really put together why there were more than one Evil force out there trying to take over the world, and then move onto to Gokaiger footage from the Movie Goseiger vs Gokaiger! Alot of the footage was made for power rangers to use! There really could have been more unique alien or different timeline teams crossing over, while also expanding the lore of the Power Rangers multiverse.
Megaforce was a product of laziness. They could of done amazing things. They could of referenced some of the brother shows too. But they sort of did a messed up puzzle that didn't really go together. But the first few seasons were very much the same. It was a hit because it was so different than what we knew. But it wasn't' done well.
What would be awesome is if the Mystic Knights team up with the Mystic Rangers from Power Rangers Mystic Force, that would be awesome. Also that sensei in VR Trooper also appeared in MMPR as Master Lei, Trini's sensei. Saban's other mistake was adapting Kamen Rider Black RX for Masked Rider instead of Kamen Rider Black, the prequel to RX. Had they started with that one it would had work for a two season show and gave Dex more powers and story development. The MMPR/Masked Rider crossover episode could still happen and the transcend of Dex from Black to RX could happen between that.
While I do agree there are so many missed opportunity, I think currently PR has a great set-up. Just like the MCU and DCEU, PR has established a shared multiverse. Unlike the Saban and Disney era, you can tell the Hasbro Era putting alot of effort into a shared continuity/multiverse. From Dino fury using the rangers database, the morphin masters (that appeared in the comics), grid connection, etc. Beast Morphers also showed that the grid can do alot of other stuff besides being the power source for every rangers. Dino fury giving origin stories to past powers, etc. Say what you will about the Neo-Saban and Hasbro era, but the established multiverse is a great achievement in my book. Between the current era + the comics, the setup is so good in my opinion. But I get what you are saying, the other shows that didnt make it, I would have loved to see them continue. But Power Rangers love bringing in characters from those shows. Like Captain Chaku in beast morphers, Sheriff Skyfire also appeared in beast morphers. Furthermore, with Hasbro plans on creating a rebooted franchise, the multiverse will continue to flourish. I have faith in Hasbro.
This was entirely focused on the first Saban era. Hasbro is absolutely crushing it right now. They are putting in easter eggs and nods to the fandom. I am really loving Dino Fury and Beast Morphers was amazing. I think they are set up nicely for the future. But Saban in the 90s didn't even come close to that thought process.
Masked Rider crossovers never happened because of it's failure and how Shotaro Ishinomori and Toei reacted to it negatively. And then there was word of "Power Rider". Which was likely Kamen Rider Decade for Power Rangers Samurai. (Shinkenger and Decade crossed over) So it almost happened but Saban, the studio, probably got cold feet. For Tier na Nog, I would've preferred if the Dino Fury rangers were connected to that show instead. Lore reasons and all that. Not a crossover but their show's elements would continue to exist instead of a really weird attempt at alien knights.
I also just thought of this now, but if Hasbro is able to get the rights to Kamen Rider Saber they could make that a Mystic Knights series or a show where they are descendants and make it a Masked Rider show or call it Power Rider.
I completely agree with you we should've had more crossovers then we got, but crossovers do cost money and yes you did say it wouldn't have cost much for Saban but if look at the shows and cartoons that were around the same time like the Marvel animated series cartoons how many times did they crossover with each other?
It would be hard to see what this franchise could of been back in the 90s but thats what the video is about just the missed opportunities. Budget is Saban's most important number. Which is ehy these would of been virtually thr same cost to do a normal episode
Monsters Warriors wasn't broadcast in the States where I'm from so I don't know anything about it honestly. I don't think it was a Saban Entertainment show either. And Mech x4 was a disney show in 2016 after power rangers had been sold from disney at that point.
What's also interesting is that the season 3 three parter a friend in need was supposed to lead into the masked rider series and if that was kept masked would've been set in the same world as power rangers but saban changed the idea and the format of the series
@@kamenrider64 that's what this video is about. They should of done more with the two together. But as far as the same universe it is connected with A Friend In Need linking them.
@@mightymorphinconspiracythe5024 yeah your right Rocky did mention Dex in the Alien rangers saga so he could be treated as a extra hero like character but what's interesting the Dex from the 3 parter and the Dex from the masked rider tv series are actually totally different characters
@@mightymorphinconspiracythe5024 I always enjoy your videos, man. I know you were just talking about missed opportunity tv crossovers but I was surprised you didn't bring up the beetleborg/turbo comic crossover. Besides that, excellent video! Cant wait to see what you post next!🤙🏻

@@OrinOfAtlantis oh its okay! I flashed it on the screen but didnt mention it verbally. Dont worry, i just appreciate you always being so supportive towards my channel
Pretty cool ideas, but most of these couldn't really work. Haim Saban didn't shoot most of the fight scenes anyway. They were recorded in Japan for the Super Sentai counterpart of Power Rangers.
That was all taken into account. They did film a lot of fight scenes after season 2 of MMPR. They got a lot more confident in their filming. Beetleborgs had lots of suit scenes filmed originally. Not to mention Mystic Knights and Ninja Turtles was all originally shot. So it is quite possible at this point in time for them to do a crossover episode.
I'm one of many who made their own fanfic over the years and to be honest, that probably just makes me one of the same many who just didn't have the means to make it happen. Hell, in 1996, I created an armored character called KnightWolf. SERIOUSLY. That was a real thing I created. There's an old Native American belief that people who are passionate enough about the same idea will manifest similar ideas independently. I had so many amazing ideas about directions the show could take but thems the breaks. Could it have been handled better? Of COURSE! Could it have gone worse? Of COURS-ER! Lol. Here's to hoping for the brightest future possible for our "It's NOT SPANDEX!'' covered heroes.
Love the RPM reference, but yes they missed a lot of opportunities. Fans who have been with the show for years have lots of great ideas. I can understand why the shows don't always go with them. I can deal with it being their choice but they could use a strong panel of fans who know their stuff to help get them through the future
the power rangers concept overall worked with minor tweaks just to appease the kids and parents (or some with conservative values) but for the masked rider concept would only worked once or twice and that's it due to different storyline, plot, maturity (although still aim for kids demographic), more of a lone wolf thing with occasional help from allies... I think 🤔 and whole different universe thing... the only 2nd time masked rider franchise brought to the west was the Kamen rider ryuki or AKA masked dragon knight... was shot production in Australia I think... the storyline makes little sense... the og material was more of Battle royal theme like in the Japanese movie with survival of the fittest plot... in my opinion..
Masked rider is darker to me in tone. It still has the typical comedy, but the monsters are more gruesome. It wouldn't have to be a show that went for 30 years straight. Saban could of used these shows as sort of their wild card. Do a Masked Rider season then Beetleborgs then another masked rider. Would of been pretty cool to see them do this over the years.
One of the reasons I've gotten back into Power Rangers recently is just how much they fudge with the source material. They kinda just made up their own shit. They set out with the goal of adapting Sentai by making a show around stock footage, but ended up making their own show with stock footage as one of the many building blocks to it. And I think that was Masked Rider's ultimate failing. They just didn't do enough beyond adding a sitcom to stock footage. And Masked Rider was honestly just such an embarrassment. So Power Rangers tends to just pretend like it didn't happen. Which is, in part, why the cool shared universe thing never really happened Kamen Rider is Super Sentai's dark reflection. The show is to it's sister show as Batman is to Superman. As Daredevil is to The Avengers. At least that's how I see it. And I think that's what Masked Rider should've been. Of course, Kamen Rider wasn't like that back then. And they couldn't have predicted how popular it would've gotten with Americans today. So there probably wasn't any reason to try beyond the drive to make a good show, which I don't think they had Still, if I were in charge back then, or I were tasked with making a Kamen Rider adaptation today, this is how I would've done it. I would've made it Power Rangers for kids who thought they were "too cool" for Power Rangers. That's certainly why I got into it as a teen. You could've had it explore deeper and more nuanced themes to differentiate it from the Ranger's black and white morality. Maybe have put it on MTV so they can show more messed up stuff. I'm thinking it should be something like Beserk or Evangelion, both in terms of tone and themes. Yeah, I know Rider series don't get that far. But like I said, fudging with the source material is something that's brought me back to Ranger stuff rn, and idk ig I've just been on a bit of a brain blast recently, and I just thought I'd share some of my thoughts on this Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk about some kid's show from four decades ago lol
Well it was none union at the time and chances are would have been costly i mean with what they did in some shows might not have had the money and seemed Saban did not always know waht to do.
With it being non union then it would of been pretty cheap for them to make anything. They could of pulled off some great crossovers if they put the effort in.
@@mightymorphinconspiracythe5024 but it would have cost more which is why they tried to use as much japanse footage as they could more original footage would cost tons thus why they did not do more original stuff with shows using older toku show
That would require Toei to give the OK, and given that the comic creators wanted to include Dex in the big group shot in Shattered Grid, it's likely they asked and got told no. Toei would very much like to have Saban's Masked Rider be erased.
Reasons why this can’t work is there worlds are to simple and extremely complicated. Power rangers is a universe with multiple dimensions. While most of there Sanaa series are better off contained. The turtles on the other hand is a multiverse of possibilities.
These seem more like opinions than reasons. A lot of these shows are connected by something. A comic book crossover or a quick team up. But they weren't done to their potential in Live Action Setting.
Though I don’t know much of these other Saban properties I highly doubt any future owner of the power rangers would try to incorporate these forgotten ip. But, your telling me they are connected other the owner being Haim Saban and some random guest appearance by a talented actor I don’t see anything that is definitively connecting them. Also the comics aren’t proof as marvel and boom are two different publishing houses.
@@saintzeroinfinity im not saying they are going to incorporate these in the future show. This is strictly a what could they have done better in the 90s.
6:23 The Cybertron/ Tommy Oliver spin-off was never going to work and it's a good that it was abandoned. 1: The word 'Cybertron' was owned by transformers 2: It didn't need to be a Tommy Oliver spin-off coz if you watch it, all you see is Tommy from MMPR: His same Karate style, his same signature spinning kicks, his same jokes. 3: and a Bulk and Skull rip off. This show would have been the end of his career. 12:15 The reason the Dairanger suits were never used is because the MMPR suits were their brand, and since Power Rangers had only been around for a year, they couldn't risk changing the suits and ruining their brand. Remember, people would complain about Rocky, Adam, Aisha, Kathryn, Tanya, Justin, TJ, Carlos, Ashley, Cassie and more coz they weren't the original team. Today that's a different story coz the fans know the Sentai, and everyone these days is talking about a shared universe.
cybertron is just the pilot name. It could be called anything. But making a new character instead of going off the popularity of Tommy I think is a missed opportunity. It would be weird to cross over power rangers with Adam Steel when he has already been on the show. If you are looking at expanding the universe the name means a lot even when it's the same person. They didn't need to shift the suits over to the diaranger suits. They could of just used them for a 2 part episode. Would of been cool for kids to see more rangers.
@@mightymorphinconspiracythe5024 There's a difference between "going off the popularity of Tommy", and just copying it. It's completely lazy and changing a name won't change that. It won't expand, or even, create a universe. Remember 'Lord Draven' from Ninja Steel, who was a cheap copy of Lord Drakkon from the comics?
@@zyuranger21 I don't think Lord Draven was anything close to a Lord Drakkon knock off. By that logic Lord Drakkon is a knock off of Lord Zedd. Its okay that you personally dont want a Tommy Spin-off. I disagree, I think it would of expanded the universe in a positive way Everyone is entitled to their opinion. You obviously disagree, and thats fine. But neither of us can say either way is 100% correct
@@mightymorphinconspiracythe5024 Seriously? Draven was the ruler of an evil alternate dimension, who tried to invade the main ranger universe by making an entire army of ranger powered robots. And rangers from every season have to team up to stop his invasion. Obviously Drakkon was a Lord Zedd knock off. I know that you think a Tommy spin-off was a good idea, but think, why didn't this happen? Kids were demanding Tommy and the green ranger to come back. That's why Tommy came back as the white ranger.
@@zyuranger21 Alright, all characters in power rangers with Lord in the name I guess are the same person. This video is about possibilities to build a universe. We know the direction Tommy went in. This is simply a "what if" concept. If the idea of discussing a Tommy spin off upsets you to this level, you probably shouldn't watch these videos. Thats the whole point of the channel. To talk about theories and "what if" scenarios.
Honestly I dont think its a fair comparison. Its only like 10 episodes and heavily focused on the "kids" journeys. It was a very poor use of the kakuranger footage I think. But it was cool they involved it at all. Unlike the diaranger suits.
Yes but I wish it was different That it was Real ninjas instead of aliens because they’re the weakest Rangers because that made the fans probably say their suits look like ninjas and that Would been weird to see them in ninja steel with ninja storm but it was never adopted The episode of ninja steel’s sentai counterpart
Not even remotely true, he had meant for Black RX to be the end, but the three 90s films show he wasn't done with it, and Kuuga was based on ideas he was having for Rider. He did however forbid Saban and whoever owns Power Rangers from ever touching Rider again.
Yeah no, Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad is not adapted from a Toei show, but a Tsuburaya show. And no, Tsuburaya would never give Hasbro any kind of control over Ultraman or Gridman. Hasbro would make the US toys, but they'd make the show with massive creative oversight from Tsuburaya. TsuPro isn't gonna let a foreign company have any kind of real control over one of their properties after the thing with that Thai movie studio. VR Troopers, Power Rangers, Masked Rider, Big Bad Beetleborgs, and Kamen Rider Dragon Knight were all made from Toei shows.
I do agree they didn't really do cross overs with the other Saban shows much however hasbro has the opportunity now to say they are connected and that the Morphin masters sent the powers to the heros I believe hasbro may do that it's hard to say what they would choose from back then to use or if they would bring the casts back to be part of power rangers itself going forward I would love to see all the Saban shows together in 1 massive show that changes every week as to what heros will appear and what villains will show up and be defeated
Bro! This is the best power ranger content I’ve seen on RUclips. Love your channel, takes me back :)
Great Video Bro! This one was dope af! Saban missed the mark on a lot of great team ups in the 90's!
Thanks buddy! I know man watch a missed Opportunity!
We should have gotten a universe out of all these properties, but anyway keep on making your videos I'm enjoying them
They definitely had the resources or opportunities to make some of these things happen, although I'm sure alot more went into it, but I could see how alot of these could be implemented story wise

I do like thr idea of the armor being from Mystic Knights that would be amazing. Did you comment that on another video of mine?
You could say someone made a TV shoe based on Masked Rider
Like how they incorporated the Sentai into Dino Thunder, by it being a show based on them
Yeah, the Saban runs have always been full of missed opportunities.
I think cause with Dekker they planned to kill him off like his Sentai counterpart
It would be amazing! All these shows together would be great!
@@mightymorphinconspiracythe5024 I think I will write it, I’m not sure about Alien Fighters or Samurai Squad. I may also include Los Luchadores since it’s also Saban but I know nothing about that show.
@h193013 Los Luchadores is on youtube. Its only 16 episodes. Pretty quick to binge if needed
I think since Tier na Nog was set in the past, we could've had some little nods to Power Rangers rather than a full blown crossover, like showing a previous version of Zordon before he became the entity that we know, or have some nods about the ancient battle that imprisioned Rita Repulsa in the Moon.
yeah unless they did a time travel thing that seems like best bet
Dude that Tommy VRT cybertron idea is gold.
(Note this idea is based on the 1989 series Turboranger)
13,000 years later, When a group of the Demon descendants started a campaign of Conquest (Dark Specter is the leader and survivor of this faction), a trio of prototype Rangers were created to combat them. (Note during this time on Earth the first conflict with the Gouma and the Chi Warriors happen (Dairanger, this is the origin of Lord Zedd) (Think the origin of Lothor mixed with elements of Dairangers)
1500 years later, A young sorceress named Rita is manipulated and joins the ranks of a faction lead by Zedd under Dark Specters command.
Rest of Season 2 happens (including Tommys return as White Ranger)
Season 3:
The Ninja Quest 4 parters happens but there is a difference the Thunderzords are not destroyed just severely damaged.
Zeo:
With the Super Sentai World special having severely damaged the Thunderzords the Earth rangers including Kat acquire the Zeo powers. Zeo happens as normal.
The Rangers see the Beetleborgs conflict with Borg slayer and come in time to prevent the destruction of Gigantis and the AVs.
Turbo (Carranger):
Archaeologist unearth and break the seal containing the smaller faction of the Demon from the many millenia earlier conflict. The Zeo Rangers battle the Demon but are captured. The Fairies that awaken, recruit TJ, Carlos, Ashley, Cassie and Justin to
help defeat these Demons and rescue the Zeo Rangers.
The Turbo and Rescue Megazords are severely damaged by Goldgoyle, the Robo Turbo Rangers are reprogramed to serve General Havoc by Porto
In Space happens as normal and we get the Megaranger-Carranger special. The Robo-Turbo rangers are freed from their evil programming Robot Justin is replaced by human Justin. The events leading to countdown to destruction the Rangers with from the Zeo and Turbo rangers prevent the Delta Megazord and Mega-Voyagers destruction.
Awesome content!
I feel like that the writers didn't think about stuff beforehand and how it could of effected the other shows profits.
I agree 10,000 with ALL of this!!!
1. Making Super megaforce a seperate season
I think this 1 is very obvious (for many reasons).
2. More cameos from past rangers
I think this 1 is obvious too.
3. Crossovers with Masked Riders/Beetleborgs
Gokaiger had crossovers with Kamen Rider (Maseked Rider) and with the metalic Beetleborgs (tokusaku Metal hero series).
4. Having the Rangers discover that they can use the keys for the megazord
In the Gokaiger movies (and series I think) it was demonstrated, that the gokaigers have keys for there megazords.
5. Having them all transform more into 1 color
Honestly there is no real reason lol. Maybe they could do an Focus episode for each member, and then have them transform into that color. Plus then can always just transform into special/6th Rangers.
6. Having them Transform into future rangers
In the future Gokaigers crossover episodes with other sentais/and in the 10th year movie.
I wonder if the Beatle Borgs had gone Metallics by that point 🤔
Still...

Shame they never adapted the rescue themed Metal Heroes seasons, they would of paired great with Light Speed Rescue
Oh man! I didnt know that!
@@mightymorphinconspiracythe5024 It's pretty cool. Unfortunately it doesn't play any lip service to No Clowning Around.
I feel when they got to in space thats when things truly improved
Megaforce was a product of laziness. They could of done amazing things. They could of referenced some of the brother shows too. But they sort of did a messed up puzzle that didn't really go together. But the first few seasons were very much the same. It was a hit because it was so different than what we knew. But it wasn't' done well.
@@mightymorphinconspiracythe5024 I think Saban was only focused on the toys and yeah the season could have been great but always felt crap

A powerrangers wood have intriguing
They did a little with the grid over the years before but now going deeper
This was entirely focused on the first Saban era. Hasbro is absolutely crushing it right now. They are putting in easter eggs and nods to the fandom. I am really loving Dino Fury and Beast Morphers was amazing. I think they are set up nicely for the future.
But Saban in the 90s didn't even come close to that thought process.
@@mightymorphinconspiracythe5024 Well they are loaded out the ass and know more about making good shows then Saban and hire more better, people
@@mightymorphinconspiracythe5024 Oh, fair enough.
@@zeokingsilver True. Now it's so flesh out and more to come.
I like the idea of Dino Fury being a descendent of Tir Na Nog. That would of been really cool
I also just thought of this now, but if Hasbro is able to get the rights to Kamen Rider Saber they could make that a Mystic Knights series or a show where they are descendants and make it a Masked Rider show or call it Power Rider.
@@AlonzoTompkins it would be a good idea for Netflix to adapt at the tokysatsu inspired shows
We need another kamen rider adaptation so it can crossover with power rangers and have same tone as dragon knight bring back the wang brothers
I agree with you there!
Which is ehy these would of been virtually thr same cost to do a normal episode
what about monsters warriors? or mech x4?
Monsters Warriors wasn't broadcast in the States where I'm from so I don't know anything about it honestly. I don't think it was a Saban Entertainment show either.
And Mech x4 was a disney show in 2016 after power rangers had been sold from disney at that point.
Have you heard and are you excited about the Power Rangers TTRPG?
I have heard of it and am excited.... but I don't really have anyone to play with... so its a bit of a bummer
What's also interesting is that the season 3 three parter a friend in need was supposed to lead into the masked rider series and if that was kept masked would've been set in the same world as power rangers but saban changed the idea and the format of the series
It did lead into a series with 40 episodes.
@@mightymorphinconspiracythe5024 yeah but it still has no connection to Power Rangers at all sadly
@@kamenrider64 how are they different?
Yay! A new video!
I am excited for this one! I hope you enjoy it!
Thank you for the positive vibes@@OrinOfAtlantis as always!
I mentioned it in the Forever Red Beetleborgs video I did. I never know how much I should repeat.
@@mightymorphinconspiracythe5024 you sure did, didn't you. My apologies it's been a bit lol.
Anyways, have a great day.
Also shout out to all 4 episodes of Power Rangers Unworthy. Fan Made, but a nice story with actual care.
I have a theory that saban tried to make a new multiverse in the 2010s with glitter force and power rider
i don't know anything about glitter force
I love power rangers rescue..
Which is, in part, why the cool shared universe thing never really happened
Kamen Rider is Super Sentai's dark reflection.
So there probably wasn't any reason to try beyond the drive to make a good show, which I don't think they had
Still, if I were in charge back then, or I were tasked with making a Kamen Rider adaptation today, this is how I would've done it. But like I said, fudging with the source material is something that's brought me back to Ranger stuff rn, and idk ig I've just been on a bit of a brain blast recently, and I just thought I'd share some of my thoughts on this
Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk about some kid's show from four decades ago lol
The film from Japan was darker to me. A little grosser in general to me. Monsters were kind of nasty looking.
I’m surprised at least Kamen rider didn’t be as big in American
@@ZayTh3God I thought they could of done more but I'm not sure why they didn't try to do another season
I do hope we get more of these live action power rangers like shows hopefully another kamen rider adaptation comes out
We are 9 Riders in at this point in regards Kamen Rider representation in the west. Doing another adaptation would feel like a step back
We got a better one…And no one watch it
@@KhanhNguyen-mh5ec Where can you watch them?
I would like to see it cross over with rangers again
@@mightymorphinconspiracythe5024 I do not. That show had stop showing in CW.
Well it was none union at the time and chances are would have been costly i mean with what they did in some shows might not have had the money and seemed Saban did not always know waht to do.
With it being non union then it would of been pretty cheap for them to make anything. They could of pulled off some great crossovers if they put the effort in.
@@mightymorphinconspiracythe5024 but it would have cost more which is why they tried to use as much japanse footage as they could more original footage would cost tons thus why they did not do more original stuff with shows using older toku show
should tag boom studioes in this they could make some comics
That would require Toei to give the OK, and given that the comic creators wanted to include Dex in the big group shot in Shattered Grid, it's likely they asked and got told no. Toei would very much like to have Saban's Masked Rider be erased.
It would be pretty cool to put them in the same universe again
@@saintzeroinfinity if you look into it you will see they are connected.
@@saintzeroinfinity im not saying they are going to incorporate these in the future show. This is strictly a what could they have done better in the 90s.
Fine, it’s just disheartening to find out how much sentai footage was cut from the power rangers.
6:23 The Cybertron/ Tommy Oliver spin-off was never going to work and it's a good that it was abandoned.
1: The word 'Cybertron' was owned by transformers
2: It didn't need to be a Tommy Oliver spin-off coz if you watch it, all you see is Tommy from MMPR: His same Karate style, his same signature spinning kicks, his same jokes.
One thing for sure, Saban is successful at buy low and sell high of the franchise.
Yes he is, and he did take the risk where others did not
Of course alien rangers failed I love kakuranger better but I still love Power Rangers except alien rangers
@@luis1237 i wish they did more with it too
Yes
About masked rider team-ups Ishinomori hated the adaptation so much he forbade anymore kamen riders until the year 2000
Not even remotely true, he had meant for Black RX to be the end, but the three 90s films show he wasn't done with it, and Kuuga was based on ideas he was having for Rider. He did however forbid Saban and whoever owns Power Rangers from ever touching Rider again.
Haim Saban is no Ishinomori Shotaro
no he was not
Throw in kamen rider dragon knight and super human samurai syber squad
With how popular Squid Game was, I could see Toei just bringing Sentai and Kamen Rider to the west via streaming services.
@@malcomalexander9437 I understand but still it's got the right amount of cheese and epicness I require for good tv
They arent Saban shows unfortunately
RUclips...lol please let me comment
Super Sentai does it better. 🤷🏿♂
Then don't waste your time with Power Rangers, but I don't watch Sentai so I won't have any major Sentai content on this channel.
It would be nice to see a legendary battle in the 30th anniversary and include all of these shows
Hasbro doesn't have the rights to any of these except Power Rangers, all the trademarks expired and defaulted back to Toei during the Disney era.
@@malcomalexander9437 I didnt know that
