Dairenoh is probably the coolest lookign 5-zord combo ever, and Ryuuseioh is probably the single most impressive red zord, gotta love the Dairanger mecha for how sleek they were

This is still one of my favourite designs for a zord, the thunder zord just has this amazing look to it that I sadly just don’t see in the newer sentais. Don’t know if anyone agrees with me but it’s my opinion
Honestly to date the thunder zords are the most creative of all the megazords, as technically they don't combine but merely forms a suit of armour for the dragon zord.
I used to have the main 5 dai robots when I was a kid. Not this version, of course, the 90s version. It was officially imported from Japan, but looked cheaper than this. Then I lost the helmet, the sword, & the spear.
I was lucky to find that Serpentera at an vintage toy store. That Japanese version too! Unfortunately the electronics no longer work on mine. But wow, I did not know it came with a tiny Red Dragon Thunderzord to show the scale. Awesome.
The mini Ryusenioh/Red Thunderzord & the electronics were removed from the American version just like Tsubashamaru/White Falconzord had the electronics removed.
I am so fascinated that someone was able to design these in 1992/1993 without the aid of modern CAD software, knowing that each facet of the on screen fusion had to be replicated in toy form.
@@limonysal5050 I don’t think that’s correct. You’re thinking of the US Saban version which the toys and footage existed and they built a show around it. For the Japan originals I don’t think that’s true. I’ve seen video of them creating the morphing portions of the mech robots and they weren’t basing it off a pre-existing toy.

I had the the first 6 chi beasts. They were amazing and I didn’t care for Daimugen, or at least the US version. But I gotta know: how does the chi palace stay on top of Daimugen when all 7 are combined.

I know Serpentara was Lord Zedd's personal Zord during the second season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and we see it again when the Machine Empire shows up forcing Zedd,Rita,Squat,Baboo and Finster to evacuate leaving Goldar and Rito behind for most of Zeo but does anyone know if it was used by the Rangers in Gosei Sentai DaiRanger.
Super Sentai designs always take into account the transformation to complete the design. US power rangers more or less just say "who cares about the transformation... if it looks cool, it works".

i dont have it but i assume there are grooves in the base that correspond with the shapes in daimugens back and forms a loose but stable connection
