Hi all, My father died from AML in May 2022 and since then I am highly curious and interested in this disease. Whenever I remember my father I feel hopeless and try to know more and more about this disease. This is a highly fatal disease only because it is unable to detect early. Lots of love to the person reading.
Thank you, Doctor, from the bottom of my heart. I don't know how much time you spend preparing and explaining these lessons. You are a scientist 🔥🙂 طالبة طب عربية 😊
@@8v8i 😭😭😭😭 🆘🆘my blood work says immature GRANULOCYTES. AND ABSOLUTELY IMMATURE. GRANULOCYTES ,, CAN YOU PLEASE SPEAK EXPLAIN THAT AND I HAVE LUNG CANCER RIGHT NOW?
I am stitch for a non-small cell lung cancer secondary adrenal insufficiency, and I was on immunotherapy called, KETRUDA ,, but then it started attacking my adrenal glands in my upper kidney so then we had to stop it and then I had radiation and then I felt even worse after radiation
i remember joining nursing school back in 2021 and i felt like this guy was speaking greek, but today am finishing his statements before he does, thanks alot I've learnt more than i need for my class thanks bro👊🏾
Dude, seriously whenever i'm about to attend a one hour lecture my brain prepares itself for hybernation automatically. With you guys it stays on full allert throughout and i dunno how
Thank you, Professor Zach. I was diagnosed with CML in February 2023. This was very educational and helpful for me to understand my disease. I’m now gonna go watch the CML video.
Thank you Professor Zack. I just lost my wife to AML. Your lecture explains so much we experienced and a better understanding of this heartbreaking disease. This is helping me process and come to terms with the last eight months with my beautiful wife.
Me too I lost my aunt because of AML ,,Thank you so much prof for the work ur doing to the world at large ,,help us get one who's like you but for paed iatrics
I am a RN, my mother passed away from MDS. Of course we touched on this in school but that was years ago and not till 13 years ago when my mother was diagnosed did I dig deep on the pathophysiologic of this disease. Thank you for breaking it down like this.
I was diagnosed a month ago as well. What path of treatment did they give you? They gave me 7+3 treatment and I finished it and currently waiting for the WBC to become higher . They plan on giving me a Bone marrow transplant, since I am displaying lymphomic markers.
Thank you so much Prof. Zach Tbvh you're videos have helped me greatly. There's been lot of time when I couldn't just get it from my lecturers, but you make it so easy to understand and remember. Thank you so so so much 😩
I really appreciate your content, your voice and teaching style is very engaging and makes complex information digestible. Wish I could see your whiteboard info better tho as the visual learning is awesome feature. I'd be stoked for digital drawn animation of the whiteboard content with podcast style narrative in there to follow closer
No mention of Azacitidine + Venetoclax? That is another regimen we can use for AML, typically for less fit patients who can’t tolerate 7+3. But actually a lot of patients fit in this category so I see a lot of Aza/Ven.
Would love to see a video on MPAL. You don't see a lot of information on it unfortunately. I was diagnosed with MPAL on April 1st of this year and trying to understand my particular situation can get disheartening with the lack of information on it.
Please do a video only on PNES, I have the condition from complex PTSD and severe trauma (childhood physical and sexual abuse) and would love to understand my condition more. @ninjanerd
My mom just got diagnosis with AML. I have been searching youtube to try to get more info. So much to learn. I have a question though. Why do you use the big M works and not the little M word?
My fiancee had a bone marrow biopsy and aspiration done. The flow cytometrey results read. What does this mean? Blast Gate (8.6%): 1.4% of CD34+ and/or CD117+ myeloblasts are present. 5.5% of immature B lymphocytes, positive for CD19/CD10 with variable expression of CD20, most consistent with B-hematogones. Monocyte Gate (2.8%): 2.8% of mature monocytes, positive for CD33, CD13, CD11b, CD11c, CD64, and CD14 are identified.
My wife was suffering from DLBCL called Lymphoma. Six cycle of targeted RCbop Chemo was injected through IV . In March 24 . she was declrared fuuly recovered . But after one month in late april again she had frequent fever and headache. Bone marrow synthesis was done and dcoters declead she has acquired AML with 96% bladt . Since she was 67 yrs so they ruled out stem cell transplant and IV chemo . We all were helpless and tried oral chemo suggested by doctor so that it will postpone the death for quite sometime . But we could not save her and finally she died in june. Doctor where things have gone wrong. Why allof sudden she acquired AML Still we are pondering and not getting answer.
Thanks for the breakdown! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (behave today finger ski upon boy assault summer exhaust beauty stereo over). How can I transfer them to Binance?
About the symptoms related to low rbc and platelet counts: as there are plenty of blood making bones in human body, i would guess a bone being AML should not being a big deal and the symptoms will not deteriorate rapidly. Why this line of thought is incorrect? May be AML bone metastases quickly to other bones somehow?
My mom passed from AML in May. Thankyou for pressing ahead to one day kick this disease out of our lives.
RIP 😢
My mom passed away from AML 2 years ago. Still grieving till today.
