Well you are a low IQ customer who doesn’t do homework. This lens has an aperture dial that does not function in stills mode unless it is mounted on the R1 & R5ii body. That is right, if you have R3 or R5 and buy this lens, the dial only works for video mode. Straight up Fascism
I’m a fan of the 28-70 f/2. I have the 15-35 2.8 and 50mm 1.2. They also came out with a new 24-105 I think…I wasn’t a fan of the f/4 but this new one is f/2.8 I think. I’m not really a fan of the f/2.8’s but they are incredible…I just like to get at about 2.2, 2.3, 2.5 range.
Awesome review and great content! My partner sees me doing the zoom in out dance to test AF and thinks I’m from outer space, meanwhile I see others doing it and just get it! LOL I appreciate your direct and no frills approach and sense of humor - photography is supposed to be fun and not divisive! Thanks for pointing out the positives about this lens, especially for street photography, which I too have been using it for and just like you I am so satisfied with the results, especially the micro contrast on things like concrete walls and whatnot. As you may know, this is a polarizing lens and people who have never touched it are going crazy and relegating it to the “skip” line without proper real-life use. Sure it has drawbacks, no lens is perfect, but in my humble opinion it has much to offer and has value proposition when you step back and see what it can actually offer. Thanks again!
Hi mate, thank you for watching the video. I was disappointed with it at first but because I wanted a basic 1.2 35mm street photography lens. I got a lot more than that though and can easily see the positives from using it for 2 weeks now. It's an all-rounder for sure 😃
That was a dope picture of you at the 4:07 stamp. That should have been your thumbnail. Everyone would click. Or the thumbnail of one of the scenes you caught with the new lens
Thank you for the feedback brother. I'm currently using three thumbnails and in 2 days I will be able to see which has been most effective. Usually I find pictures of me get less clicks. One of the advantages of being so handsome 😂😂😂
My department needed a new camera so I just told them to buy me an R6 M2 with the 35mm VCM. I'm excited to use it lol!
🤣🤣🤣🤣 I need a new department lol. Thanks for watching mate

Regarding the noise when power is of, I disable all power saving and just have spare battery's.
That's a good idea for some situations. How long does a battery last when you do this? Also thanks for watching 🙏
Are you getting it? why?
