- Its time for the first episode of kaiju battles! The series in which I take 2 or more kaiju, and have them fight it out for supremacy!! Today, we have a battle of the mecha's with Mechani-Kong versus MechaGodzilla from the Showa era! Who will win!

Soon as you said Mechani-Kong had to be modified, by adding weapons he doesn't have, that's when Mechani-Kong loss before squaring off to do battle lol.

Facts!
The size change is acceptable, given Godzilla vs King Kong, but all the other stuff makes this complete fanfiction.
mechagodzilla would win, since he was actualy made for combat, was made to fight Godzilla himself, and mechani-kong was not made for combat and his gear lights for disorienting or hypnotizing was easly destroyed by 1 bullet from a standard pistol, plus mechagodzilla was made with alien tech
Mechani Kongs blueprints were made for fun, the evil terrorist who used to be a colleague of the designer steals them and builds Mechani-kong only to later realize he has built a giant robot with no practical use. He then tries using it in various evil schemes to make back the money spent. I always found that hilarious.

very true, just always wanted to see this fight as a kid, but the movie wasn't available then. Years later, I finally see it, and they don't match up.....this was almost to satisfy my inner child...lol!
+SciFi Explained hell yeah, man. I get that. MechaniKong would have been a badass if he was actually designed for full on kaiju combat.

Mechanikong is powerful but the mechagodzilla's in any time line are way overpowered.

Showa era Mechagodzilla has this easily even with the changes, in their first battle Mechagodzilla was capable of holding his own in melee against Godzilla, King Seaser and seperately against Anguirus. His ability to fly was seen to function even when his head control was damaged and Mechagodzilla 2's controls weren't in in his head anymore being inside the cyborg Katsura. The second movie with Mechagodzilla they are obviously pulling their punches, it was even mentioned by the aliens that they would hold back till Godzilla and Titanosaurus were finished fighting with one of them dead and the other severely injured and they would finish them off. Between flight, firepower and clear invasion/all in war robot design Mechagodzilla would bring the win for the aliens from the third planet of the black hole.

Fun Fact: Kong from GVK wields an Axe to fight Godzilla. What would happen if Mechani-Kong wielded an Mecha Battle Axe to fight Mechagodzilla?

@@trevorphilips9065 Also showa Heisei and Millennium mecha gs have flight to evade getting hit by the axe. If Monsterverse Mecha g is used, he has agility and can easily dodge hits from the axe.

I love how you attempted to balance it out, I’m happy someone is balanced unlike me. A happily biased MG fan in all his forms.
A good matchup imo would be Anguirus vs Baragon or King Ghidorah vs SpaceGodzilla.
I like this battle unfortunately as soon as you said Megan Kong had to be modified I knew it was over before it got started. Yeah some of the battles are going to be lopsided just because of whoever you put up against someone might have more weapons or skills or abilities but I would love to see more of these

I have some ideas. How about Destroyah vs SpaceGodzilla, Battra vs Megaguirus, or Rodan vs Gyaos? This series seems like it has potential, although I don't think that you should do battles where you have to alter a kaiju's size and abilities
I almost did Destoroyah vs. SG for the first one! I just wanted to save that fight for when I've got the template for this series finished. The other idea that almost made it was Rodan vs Mothra. I don't plan on doing much altering, only had to do it with Mechani-Kong since he wasn't designed to really fight kaiju, but I still wanted to do this fight, since I've covered both in my explained series. Thanks for the ideas!

sorry, more videos on the vs. will come. I just wanted to get more of the "explained" videos done first, then do the fights. Great idea on using a Gargantuan, I tend to forget them.
SciFi Explained I'm big fan of old movies like that although would be interesting for you to talk about the two monsters in the first picture behind king gidora and angrus since they never really got much attention or info and I subbed to you too 🐙

So in other words, this is a fight that should never take place.
Godzilla was supposed to fight Mechani-Kong in the Heisei era, so they wouldve powered him up just like i did for the fight to be even.

Well.....maybe use the high power lights slot with a phase canceling ray......not offensive but nullifies energy beam weapons and the hypno beam slot now throws off targeting of missle weapons..... so he can get in melee range

Final form gigan vs Kiryu i think this would be a even fight since gigan has the advantage in power and melee arsenal but kiryu just advantage in arsenal in general durability flight speed but over all i wanna see these 2 duke it out

Would anyone else want to see mechnia kong and mecha godzilla in godzilla vs kong. Posibly as the common enimies that godzilla and kong team up against.
Making the two kaiju of similar height and weight so it's a more even fight is great, tho when you have to add weaponization to mechani-Kong to keep him in the fight so he's not obliterated, you lose me. At that point I have to envision a whole new character that mecha-G would massacre either way just depends on how long it takes for it to eliminate all of kongs advantages

Kiryu vs modified robokong but kiryu is a very good melee and long range weapons because in Godzilla against mechazilla he continuously punched Godzilla and shot multiple missiles at him and kiryu also has very good aim and duribility shown when he takes multiple shots from godzillas atomic breath and only received damage when Godzilla shot him in the legs and knocked him off balance so it's an easy win for kiryu

SciFi Explained visually yes, we all would have liked to have seen this matchup...but statistically, it was lopsided
