  • In this VLOG we take a look at some studio construction progress. For the most part, I am looking for things to do... it's a trap! After uploading this video it dawned on me that I should be working on my LEGO lighting skills in the down time! But honestly, this was the first day where it was like "I really don't know what to do with myself".

For the smell - get a plastic container big enough to cover the drainage hole; cut an arch in the edge ( to accommodate the pipe) and place it over the entire hole in the floor. You can place material around the arch and pipe if you cut it too big. Hope this helps😀

Loving the progress. When they put that vent in the new wall, make sure to get one of the ones with the movable louvers. You'll probably want to close it a little bit to balance the heat/cold into the other rooms.

This is probably too late but that AC vent into main space, you may want to consider bringing that up to the working loft. Given it's elevated it's going to be warmest up there while building. That or add some holes in the loft floor

You should add insulation or sound proofing in the walls around the furnace to reduce the sound.

    Suggestions what you could do:
    - install the shelves in the two rooms
    - install shelves upstairs
    - organize boxes for shelves
    - make a detailed layout plan for the lego area

  • @rbleisem
    @rbleisem 8 месяцев назад

Well, Bricksie, you can always do some virtual planning, you know.
See what you can do in terms of layout planning.
Like say, if you are willing to create a Lion Knights Castle Island with say two bridges.....
Or watch Robin Hood Bricks his cabinet series of youtube clips, a long and low cabinet at the table edge, would let you add in a underground & undersea setting, for one.
The way he made his cabinet back wall poster, would also be something for you walls, I bet, in terms of style.
    So yeah, research.
Start some planning work, like which sets you might need to get more off and why.
Also look up say old Ninjago blueprints and so on, see if there are a few you might like, even partial.
It might let you combine several old sets, their designs, into one.
And figure out how to cool your future build room, might become needed, I figure.

Can you not just put the existing toilet back onto the sewage waste pipe and then fill with some water (in the base of toilet) - this will stop the smell coming up through the water. You can then temporarily feed the condensate pipe into the toilet itself (you'll need the drop from the furnace output to the top of the toilet base).

  • @wavybluez333

....what Judy said, or just shove rags in bags around the drain pipe down the drain. Leave the handles of the plastic bag hanging out so nothing gets shoved down the drain. Methane gas is the real problem, not the smell.

Hot air rises do you think that might become a bit of a issue in the dead of summer? Portable AC’s are a pain to maintain if on multi levels like that.
