"I absolutely love this thing. It handles the rocks, it handles the desert, it can take the whole family camping, I can cruise 80 on the highway, up-hill no problem, no shaking, no wandering. It really just is the best that this vehicle has ever been and I've put a lot of miles on it so I know." - Alex Woods
Man, what a really thought-out rig. I can tell you really love this truck. I'm picking up an 03 4.7 4runner this week. What are some budget friendly upgrades you'd recommend for me starting out? My first "offroader" was a 13 subaru crosstrek. I had added skid plates on all the vitals, added a lift, and some skinny ATs with the addition of a rear locker. It was great, but it's time to get a real offroader.👍🏻
I have a 08 T4R LIMITED AWD V8 also and my rear is LT and I'm getting ready to LT the front . I know I will need to trim fenders but more wondering what did you have to do to the firewall tubs and stuff on the rear
I also can't justify buying expensive lights I think its because they tend to get destroyed and buying 10 sets of cheap lights still cheaper then buying 1 set od exspensive lights
Love it!, Love it ! Excellent work! I can wait to put Marlin crawlers to my 07FJ! but ho did you put a Dana 60 on the rear Diff and swap everything from factory, and is it even better than factory?
What do I have to do to get a RCLT HD kit for the Gen 3 4Runner, otherwise I won't be able to get the MC་steering setup? Who makes the next best kit to maintain DDriveabilbity? Everything else looks great thanks!
rclt nope. martec engineering is the way to go. haven’t seen anyone with marlin kit “go fast” like martec. for the money its a no brainer. get rid of the crap steering rack and clamshell diff. its like beating a dead horse. straight axle is the way to go for all around use. look at wfo taco builds with straight axle that will run circles around this rig. literally handful of “influencers” running this kit saying its the greatest this ever. plus it has terrible steering angles. what maybe 30 degrees? look at any video and tires barely turn at full lock.

Thank you!
Rad! Thanks for the walk around. I am starting down the path to do the RCLT to my 2020 4Runner and you guys are making it easy for me!
YES!!
Very nice setup love this setup need to grab some of these goodies for my 2007 4runner
My build is very similar to yours and I absolutely love it. I’m getting a roof tent with an awning and family camping trips made easy!
I like your front bumpers, how can I get them?
