ruclips.net/video/cnDkviyPOwE/видео.html This sword takes the cake for me. The blade made in this video/this guy are always beautiful, I just wish he would put handles on them
Just found your videos, but man you are easily one of the best smith's I've seen on RUclips. Amazing smiting work and clean no nonsense videos. It's like a man's man asmr. Keep up your amazing work. I'm aspiring to be at your level one day. Still saving money to build my shop currently.
Did you create the pattern yourself? It's so beautiful, and with the complexity of the etching paired with the simplicity of the blade, it's really stunning.
I was about to flip out because I thought you got the design in through cutting and stacking billets to forge weld an absolutely insane damascus pattern lol. Still amazing work though!
Don't understand the science of your craft, but the art of it is stunningly beautiful. You are obviously a master of it as evidenced by the finished products. 🔪⚒
I have seen a number of "shurap's" videos and I'm NEVER disappointed at his workmanship in his creations. He's a superb creator of knives. I would be so proud to contact him and ask him to recreate some of his fine pieces.
I recently got into watching sword making videos, I’m fascinated by the process of how they forge blades like this, I love it, this guy is one of the best I’ve seen so far, another thing I like watching is how they make guns and electronics lol

@@dustinsmith2021 I think it would still be pretty fair. This guy has a lot of specialized gear at his forge which helps him a lot. In Forged in Fire you have to use their gear in rather non ideal situations and make a knife in only 3 hours. I am sure he will do well, but the conditions of the show are a great equalizer. Especially when they mix it up and bring in coal forges.
Without seeing the video I am dumbfounded at the skill of the smith who created such an incredibly intricate and beautiful piece of work I bow to you sir!

Браво Дмитрий!
I always enjoy the way the scale just flakes off! Its pleasing to the eye!
Glad I'm not the only one lol
It is satisfying not gonna lie but sadly also detrimental to the forging process if it becomes too much. Basically losing material at that point 😢
@@weedconesuer it’s just carbon scale, not actual steel.
@@18wheeler77 in this case it was mostly thin sheets of glass from the flux he was using. carbon scale usually makes smaller flakes

My be, he glued the engraving with STAINLESS STEEL material from a separate pattern when the process was almost complete
@@gogol4815 yeah, thats my guess as well, but still awesome
Shurap is one of the few bladesmiths I've seen who can keep that much steel from their blank through that many cut and stack forge welds.
