    Это что-то невероятное. Мозг отказывается верить, что такое возможно выковать и выточить. Огромное количество людей не смогут даже просто нарисовать такое с соблюдением симметрии и пропорций. А тут ковка.

      It is satisfying not gonna lie but sadly also detrimental to the forging process if it becomes too much. Basically losing material at that point 😢

      @@18wheeler77 in this case it was mostly thin sheets of glass from the flux he was using. carbon scale usually makes smaller flakes

      My be, he glued the engraving with STAINLESS STEEL material from a separate pattern when the process was almost complete

    Shurap is one of the few bladesmiths I've seen who can keep that much steel from their blank through that many cut and stack forge welds.

    I was about to flip out because I thought you got the design in through cutting and stacking billets to forge weld an absolutely insane damascus pattern lol. Still amazing work though!

    I have seen a number of "shurap's" videos and I'm NEVER disappointed at his workmanship in his creations. He's a superb creator of knives. I would be so proud to contact him and ask him to recreate some of his fine pieces.

    I recently got into watching sword making videos, I’m fascinated by the process of how they forge blades like this, I love it, this guy is one of the best I’ve seen so far, another thing I like watching is how they make guns and electronics lol

    You keep the billet 'white' hot through out the process. Key to good weld between the layers.

      @@dustinsmith2021 I think it would still be pretty fair. This guy has a lot of specialized gear at his forge which helps him a lot. In Forged in Fire you have to use their gear in rather non ideal situations and make a knife in only 3 hours. I am sure he will do well, but the conditions of the show are a great equalizer. Especially when they mix it up and bring in coal forges.

    This is something I've been interested in for years, I'd love to be able to learn this skill, such mastery needed for a complete product. Anyone out there close to Oxford willing to share your knowledge I'd be willing to spend time learning. I have aspergers and don't really have much of a life so time is something I have plenty of

    просто космос, даже представить сложно сколько клинков нужно сделать для того что бы достичь такого уровня. Для такого метал просто необходимо чувствовать на уровне интуиции, понимать где как придавить,где как ударить.
