You're supposed to charge the battery so WHEN you bleed the system using the electronic pump it doesn't die, after doing the change open the bleed screw a few turns, turn the ignition on with heater at max and fan on low, after hold the acceleration peddle down for 10 seconds and you'll hear the pump start, process takes about 10-15mins watch the coolant levels and fill when needed. Note: i normally close the bleed screw after 5 mins to save some wasted coolant. Good luck all.
Good shit. Thanks. Question #1 after doing that my heater stopped working. Nah i replaced the coolant reservoir, now i have no heater. Help. Its 25° outside
Hello, I do that but now my heater is not working so I believe have some air but I don't know how to take the air out of my heater can you please tell me how, Tanks
When u access hidden dash menu on e60 520d to see display of coolant temp , does that menu show coolant RADIATOR OUTLET TEMP or does it show ACTUAL coolant temp ??? My one shows 54-56 celsius on hidden dash menu. Does that mean its showin radiator outlet temp or does that mean my thermostat is stuck open?
can you please tell me why you need to have the battery charger connected... I can't tell from the beginning of the video if you have the car running or just turned on to accessory mode... please explain for me. I've been stuck in front of Walmart for close to 24 hours and need to know as quickly as possible please and thank you. P.S. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOU GUYS!! YOU ARE MASTERS WITH BMWS AND THE VIDEOS YOU SHARE! THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES! 😁👍❤️💯
So many people with no idea. This video shows them bleeding the cooling system. If you want to see draining the cooling system he has a video for that.
Why doesn't anyone show the coolant bleeding for BMW e65? I would like to know the proper procedure for e65 after replacing the coolant transfer pipe and O-rings......
Unfortunately I don't have experience with the n62 but I did find some information for you www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/e65-750i-lim/repair-manuals/17-cooling/17-00-cooling-check/CN6MPF0 www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=626932 www.bimmerfest.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-752501.html Some of these are on the e60 but they share the same engine
Bro u showed absolutely nothing about bleeding the car don't waste your time an watch this video if u don't know how to put water in a car u shouldn't even be looking at a car
Ok buddy yes add coolant, let sit for 10 to 20 min, them close cover and start the car. All good simple things to do. My question is what's the charge has to do. You never mention to put the ignition on ON position. So i believe this video is 1/2 way. I think this video is a 👎💯%
@@rogeliopesqueda5105 sorry to tell you this but this is my opinion and what I think off BMW. They are piss of shit cars. Thank you for the yr later reply but the garbage car is where it belongs. Junkyard.
Rogelio Pesqueda you need a scan tool to run the cars auto bleed. It will run the electric water pump for about 12 minutes and will drain your battery if it’s not connected to a charger. It requires minimum 13volts for the whole bleed process if the volts drop below 13 volts it will stop the process. Scan tool will tell you what position the ignition needs to be in for this test but most likely position 15 ignition on engine off.

Hello, does the car have to be with the switch open?
while you pour in the antifreeze fluid.
I hope answer thanks bro

What is the purpose of bleeding it? Wont it get rid of the air itself once u start the engine as the coolant circulates back to the reservoir?
