I was a member at Saunton 30 years ago. Remember every hole on the East but there’s holes on the West I can’t remember at all (5, 10, 11?) So thanks for the memories Coach. I think. It was always sunny on Saunton.
Congratulations on Lockey #2 Coach!!! I know it’s a huge sacrifice to play all these wonderful courses for us… LOL. Seriously though, it’s definitely a time commitment even if it is a job. I appreciate the analysis as we go, and I know with the amateurs it’ll be even more knowledge and conversation for us to enjoy with some banter!
I'm taking notes, Coach!! My uncle bought that house in Oxfordshire and when I visit from the US, we are going to use your series to pick some western courses to play. I commented too soon! Congratulations on the littlest Lockey to come!
I played the West the week before you did, that wind is such an unusual direction for there, North-Easterly, usually South Westerly, imagine playing 2 and 3 straight into the wind and they suddenly become a completely different kettle of fish!
Really enjoyed that. Playing there on Friday so a quick google found this. Have subscribed as I like the presentation style. Don’t moan just get on with it and laugh when it doesn’t work out 👍
Thanks for this Coach, really enjoying this series. I played Montrose 1562 (the 5th oldest Course in the world) on Saturday, links golf is hard! The wind really makes the difference, particularly when you normally play on parkland type courses. Congrats on #2
Well done Coach really enjoying the series so far 👍🏼 Me & my son was the lucky ones too see the second shot into the 17th, Bring back Raymondo 😂It was good chatting to you as well Top Man 👊🏼
Drone footage tells us how difficult that is. Bunkers, humps, and heather, everywhere. Wonderful. And yes, I remember when you hit the tee peg! 😂 I also remember Mark’s face when you put it on him in Iceland. 😂 And btw: very enjoyable video and looking forward to more in this series!
I’m a few deep into this new series and it’s brilliant Coach. The editing, camera work and explaining of shots is incredible considering you’re playing by yourself. If I play by myself I can’t find where I’ve left my bag let alone multiple cameras etc. great work. Hopefully some North East courses once little Locks is settled.
As a new convert to the channel, I have to say I'm really enjoying not only your presentation, but also format. Just about the right length I would say. I particularly like the way you describe your assessment of the shots you have to play but I would give the singing miss if I were you. Please!!! 😊
Played Saunton a couple of times, absolutely love them. I'm a society trying to play the Top 100 courses in England, off to play Burnham & Berrow next week, that will be number 33 for me, really looking forward to it. You could always join the society if you want to play with a few people.
On my life Coach, at the start of the video, when you asked for your score prediction, I said to myself "two over". Enjoying the series so far. Me and my golf buddies really need to get our collective fingers out and book a trip away for some proper links golf. I stared longingly over the fence, from the beach path, at Trevose, when I was down there on a couples holiday the other year 😊
I saw the MANNERS on the 9th! Nice! Loving this series coach, let me know when you are up in the North West (Royal Liverpool, Wallasey, Formby potentially?), I'll come follow you round ;)
Congrats to the Lockey family! Unlucky to get that double, but your editing on these vlogs has been really enjoyable. Very much looking forward to more, but with more cast members! Do you know any available lady pros that you could play against? I miss seeing Sophie driving lasers and beating you and Mark from your own tees
Great round Coach - Nice to see some stroke play and see how good you actually are - I reckon having Crossfield in your grill probably costs about 10 shots per round! 🤪
I hate 3 putting too lol Both sat and Sunday I was on the 3rd par 5 in 2 Driver /7 iron down wind both times 3 putt 🙄 one was only 20 foot away 😂 Love this series 👊🏻
Congrats coach! Great job doing this all by yourself, amazing quality, especially compared to other people who have whole teams out there filming and editing. Would like to see Lester (Bernie) on the channel, you 2 would have incredible banter. 2 man scramble? Keep it up!
Was waiting for the 7th tee shot because I well remember 'the incident'. Clearly that tee shot has psychologically scarred you, I thought it was going through the buggy! Congrats on second child!
Hey Coach, although you probably don't get paid for it, say something about your shoes. I got them on sale after last season and I find them the most comfy golf shoes I ever owned. :)
Fantastic news you are spawning more Lockey greatness! Congratulations 🎉

incredible how long Coach Lockey can speak with himself😂 . Good job
In my head I ask myself so many questions so I just answer them out loud 😂😂😂
its all the time he spends with parfield lol
brilliant vid, many thanks from a Saunton Member. looking forward to the East
I work with Darren who you met, had the Selfie with at 42:25 he is well chuffed!
Congrats on Lockey 2!! Could we call the little Lockeys "Lockey Army Generals"?
I'm taking notes, Coach!! My uncle bought that house in Oxfordshire and when I visit from the US, we are going to use your series to pick some western courses to play. I commented too soon! Congratulations on the littlest Lockey to come!
It's great to see you playing well, Locks. Love these videos and looking forward to this series, possibly for inspiration for a trip across the pond.
Congratulations to the Lockey family! Love the course vlogs, man. Keep them coming!
I played the West the week before you did, that wind is such an unusual direction for there, North-Easterly, usually South Westerly, imagine playing 2 and 3 straight into the wind and they suddenly become a completely different kettle of fish!
Great video! Looking forward to watching you playing with some guests.
The best course vlogs...more please.
New one coming soon 👍
Really enjoyed that. Playing there on Friday so a quick google found this. Have subscribed as I like the presentation style. Don’t moan just get on with it and laugh when it doesn’t work out 👍
Great news for you and your family Matt!

Fantastic vlog and top quality edit. Loving this series🎉🎉🎉
Lets Gooooo ..... 48 more to come haha
Played both courses there and they are properly tough!
Great series this I personally mainly watch RUclips golf for ideas of we’re to play on my travels and this series is ideal! Good work coach!!

Glad you enjoy it! And thanks for the kind words

Looked a real grinders course easy to rack up a number you did well in the end
#lockeyarmy is growing. congrats, Coach 🎉 Wonderful series. And I’m happy you also planned some random guests for that.
Great series coach looking forward to the rest of it. Nice to see someone showcasing what the West Country has to offer. Congrats on the baby news.
Well done coach!
Saunton are amazing courses! Well played!👍👍👍
Really enjoying this Coach, especially how you are talking through each shot decision and thought process. Thanks 🙏
Loving the new shirt Coach.
Sexy isnt it
Well played coach this has been a treat to watch. Bring on the next one
Huge congrats 🎉
Thank you
Looking sharp, Coach! And congratulations!
forgot to mention, loved the shirt.!!!!. b.
Loving this series Coach. Another great links course.
All the best for the birth of your second! 👍
Congrats Lockey family!
Love these videos!
I saw the MANNERS on the 9th! Nice!
Loving this series coach, let me know when you are up in the North West (Royal Liverpool, Wallasey, Formby potentially?), I'll come follow you round ;)
The lie you had greenside on the 1st is classic Saunton, thick rough straight onto a quick downslope green
Awesome vlog Coach. Enj9yhe top 50!
Well... Big Congrats on the new Lockey baby pins soon to be 👶👍
Congratulations Coach. You need to do a scramble with subscibers at St. Mellion 👍
St Mellion already filmed 👍👍
Love these. Looking forward to the next one. I love strokeplay videos the best :) scramblenot so much!
Really enjoy these videos. Love the grips. Mine are midsize MCC Plus4 in that color.

Hi Bob from Australia love the video I noticed that in your iron swing your arms don't go above your shoulders is it possible to do a lesson on that
Wonderful stuff, Coach! Best wishes to YOU and the MRS., and your GROWING family!!!
Thanks bruh 👍👍
Love this series!
I have a 4-iron bump and run which just plays like a putt. Only have to loft it to the top of the grass, then get it rolling.
Hi Lockey, I think 2 over par, if you play really well 1 or 2 under par. By way, you have a great swing
Great round Coach - Nice to see some stroke play and see how good you actually are - I reckon having Crossfield in your grill probably costs about 10 shots per round! 🤪
He is my nemesis on the golf course 😂
I’m gunna go 3 over! Looking forward to watching coach👌🏻
Enjoyed the show! Good content. Looking forward to seeing you with some competition n ⛳👍
Next ones will have guests 👍👍
loving this content. regarding hole 6...I am from Texas. guess what i would have done from that chippy area by the green?
I’m guessing a Texas wedge haha?
I’ll doss silloth on Solway with you if you head up west Cumbria
+1 Coach!
Congrats on #2 on the way, Coach!
Thanks Michael 👍👍
I need this shirt!
Funky isn’t it 🔥
Two under? Golf is looking good coach!
Are you going to play the East course while you're there?
Congratulations on the news👍
Thank you 😊
Coach playing sensible sexy golf! I like it. I am enjoying the series. I like the way you describe your thought process on each shot.
Recognised that t8nker of a par 4 15th on West I believe
I hate 3 putting too lol
Both sat and Sunday I was on the 3rd par 5 in 2
Driver /7 iron down wind both times 3 putt 🙄 one was only 20 foot away 😂
Love this series 👊🏻
So annoying 3 putting
Hi coach,
How come and mark don’t play with the old chaps anymore? (Steve buzza, Rory, James Picard, Kevin harper and gorilla James)
Tour Pro 😎
Congrats coach! Great job doing this all by yourself, amazing quality, especially compared to other people who have whole teams out there filming and editing. Would like to see Lester (Bernie) on the channel, you 2 would have incredible banter. 2 man scramble? Keep it up!
It appears Coach visited the ISS on his way to the golf course.
Hole 6- Because you chipped it, you only 2 putted. That’s a win! Staying positive.
Those wedge tap ins must really bugger up the shotscope putting stats
Haha I edit after every round just to double check everything is correct 😂
Was waiting for the 7th tee shot because I well remember 'the incident'. Clearly that tee shot has psychologically scarred you, I thought it was going through the buggy! Congrats on second child!
Not sure what it is with that tee shot 😂
Congratulations on the rug rat! Did I spy rust on your 9i at 34:20?
Probably dirty bruh. Not clubs of mine rust.
Love to see Nedum on one of these! Are you two still speaking? lol
Haha just about.
I think Andy Carter is in your neck of the woods- would be a good match
Hey Coach, although you probably don't get paid for it, say something about your shoes. I got them on sale after last season and I find them the most comfy golf shoes I ever owned. :)
My shoes have lovely softspikes 😉😍
@@CoachLockey can't decide if they look like slippers (close up) or motorcycle boots
I’m going to say, shoot 74… even if conditions benign Saunton is just tough!
7 iron or mate 8 chip and run . Saw the fantastic disaster by the way 🤣🤣
Congratulations. Love the series. You and mark still an item or you gone all single
Should have asked Raymondo to caddie for you.😂😊
funny
Why only England Lockey🏴🏴
Any chance of Rory joining you?
Maybe 👌
Stunning course but i don’t think i would bring enough balls 😂.
reckon you gotta +2 in ya man
6 over
Try to break +100 over 50 rounds. That would be incredible on the courses you’re going to play!
+200*
Sexy! And great news about whats on the way Coach. Also, would love to see you play a round or two with Lester. Cheers and thanks for uploading.
Greens looked slow Lockey?
No they were good 👍
@@CoachLockey Played last Sunday in the Open there....greens ok, just the 25mph wind and rain for 3 hours wasn't! Still loved the challenge though.
7/8
1st hole, how on earth did you find your ball? 😲 I wouldn't have. 2 lost. 😸
2 over
A top 50 course round with Peter Finch would be class. He's doing best youtube golfer as well, show him how its done. 😂
Very entertaining... yes please
Mediocre singer..... no please. 🤣 Thanks coach
Nice content, please invite Ray to join for a episode or two.
75 is my guess.
"I'm going to pump you up!"
Tough course so I think 4 over would be more than respectable
I would have chipped on 6th
Footjoys 👀
👍
