Time warp costs 5 and only gets one extra turn. Play your cards right and you can get infinite free turns with 0 mana. In my opinion this is even better.
I don't see how this is any different from other combo decks. With time warp you still can't play around that, if they get the pieces in hand, you're dead, regardless of taunt, armour, heals, if you haven't already won, they have. Both time warp and exploits like this are both uncounterable one you have the pieces, why is one fine and the other is not?

Like 95% of all their stuff is hard-coded to work the way it does and with hard-coded special exceptions. It's the highest grade of spaghetti coding. Instead of just making everything modular and work on a base level they just stack more code on top with special rules.

People underestimated the rogue quest for sure (not everyone ofc). It will force either a super super fast agroo meta to kill rogue before they manage to complete the quest, or slower midrange or control that can deal with violet teacher/moroes and keep board control. Elemental/Jade Shaman seems to be working for me quite well, winning most of the time
Oh man, those 2 quests are driving me insane. The Rogue one is a bit more tame and harder accomplish, but the mage one is just pure cancer. If you are playing a control deck, you just don't stand a chance against mages anymore.
They could also just let the timer start once all the animations on the screen are completed, so even if it took a really long time for the animations to finish, they would still get the amount of time they were supposed to have.

Toast did not steal the idea from anyone. If they didn't steal it from him, they found it each on their own. I watched the stream and he was genuinely surprised at the result. If anything the person who stole ideas was probably the person your talking about. People "steal"content from streamers all of the time. Although it is not really stealing because of the terms of service.
They should seriously pay him a little prize everytime he finds a possible exploit, especially when this one is worse than the Nozdormu one. This is honestly a game-breaking bug and I'm glad there's Toast and random people on Reddit who are willing to find out these things.
I don't know why Blizzard hasn't just added a "No animations" or "Fast animations" option. They sped up all cast animations way back in the beta or soon after release, right?

Honestly, so many problems in Hearthstone could be solved with a SKIP ANIMATIONS button. Litterally that's all it would take. That's not even complicated programming wise. And not just for animation. I have straight up not had enough time to do complicated turns before cause it wouldn't let me from animations going off. I have lost games where I should've easily been able to play if not for animations.
I'm kind of disappointed that after 3 years Blizzard still can't release a set that isn't broken on day 1. You'd think they would have learned about internal testing or something.
Hey toast have you seen the weird interaction with auchenai soulpriest and amara, warden of hope. Given the way they are worded i think something is bugged. because if its not then the same interaction would happen with auchenai soulpriest and alexstrasza.

Put a bunch of card draws in the deck, and play multiple mana addicts or questing adventurers, or play Kabal Talonpriest and power word: shield to make these minions harder to remove. If these minion survive, and we have the combo pieces in hand, it just unstoppable. Or, if we can play questing adventurer, and then play the combo pieces, make the questing adventurer become a 30/30, and hope opponent don't have harder removal, then it will be a auto win.

Even if you brought a deck like this to a tournament I can't really imagine it being good. You have to get both of your radiant elementals and a shadow visions without getting your other shadow visions, assuming you can survive infinitely there is only a 50% chance that this will happen, less if you die before drawing the cards you need. You would also have to build the deck with no more then 3 spells including shadow visions.

ez fix : turn does not start counting until all animations are doe, check for any animations that might start at your turn and do them all before starting the turn, and the turn cannot end if the animations are playing.
or cut animations at a certain time to prevent roll over into oponents turn. There is a battle log after all. The fact that this issue has been present for 2 years means it may as well be a game feature since blizzard clearly only wants to make temporary fixes rather than tackle the underlying issue.

THis exploit has existed forever in hearthstone. Here is the crap people have said in the forum to protect it. You can click on the card to stop the animation. That doesn't work against a shaman and his lightning, because it doesn't stop the 2.2 second lightning storm. I suggested many years ago the few fixes to fix this is: When the opponent pushes the End Turn, it triggers a fast forward button to skip all animations. Have a skip all player animations. Much like the bouncing blade of warrior. When you have many minions on the field the animation is sped up.
Hey disguised toast I have a interesting question. if you use Majordomo executus with the awaken the makers and use him as the last deathrattle and get Amara then Majordomo dies and your hero becomes ragnoros will Amara still set your hero to 40 health?
It turns out if you shadow madness a card after you finish the rogue quest, the minion you steal becomes a 5/5 and when they get it back it stays a 5/5
I thought this was already solidly fixed. If you have animations queued up when you rope, a new rope starts and all the animations finish on your turn before it's turned over to the opponent. But i guess i was wrong...

It took them over 2 years to fix nozdormu. Let that sink in, a Legendary that was in the game since closed Beta was only fixed 2 years after launch.

Can't you just click on the card when it shows up to dismiss it? Like with the old curse of rafaam bug.
Even with dismissing the card you can play enough so that the animations still take up the opponent's entire turn.
