  • The preview of half-a-year achievement
    The highest-power-performance robot of its counterparts with similar specifications in the world, weighing about 47Kg, with a maximum joint torque of 360N.m.
    Unitree Robotics provide the best humanoid robot at the best price.
    It's been a dream for 13 years.
    Xingxing Wang, the Founder of Unitree Robotics, independently developed his first robot, a simple bipedal robot, in the winter break of the first year of university in early 2010
    “Many of the details of that time are still fresh in my mind, but in the blink of an eye, it's been 13 years!”;
    Thanks to the efforts of Unitree's colleagues, it took half a year to cast the universal humanoid robot H1.

      @tod4y 9 месяцев назад

      Better? Based upon what?

    • @superior5005
      @superior5005 9 месяцев назад +5

      @@tod4y what have we seen so far on optimus? Basic walking algoritm? And maybe some basic 3d scanning, that every 300$ robot vacuum can do too? And that's it. You can see, that unitree already has finished product, that is so far quite stable and seems like it's better in nearly every way, than the optimus, which was created only for more attention for tesla.

    • @jlrutube1312
      @jlrutube1312 9 месяцев назад +4

      @@superior5005 Yes, this robot looks better then Optimus. Nevertheless, looks can be deceiving. The fact is that if you take a robot and simply program it's direction and speed and steps it will look confident and stable. Boston Dynamics does this all the time. But Optimus doesn't work that way. Optimus uses machine learning A.I. from the worlds biggest database from tesla cars and constantly learns more and more about navigating around. Thus, given enough time will be able to do a very large amount on it's own. Eventually, you will just say "Optimus, get me a cup of coffee and it will do it. With other robots you will still have to program every step of the process and if you put the robot in a different unfamiliar kitchen it will fail unless you reprogram every step. Optumus will walk stable and confident as Tesla's A.I. improves.... And it is improving at ever increasing rates. Also Tesla has the factories and batteries to mass produce Optimus for way cheaper than anyone else for a comparable robot.

    Incredible it is, though I don't understand why engineers bother with the 2-leg concept. It's unstable and clumsy, harder to be stabilized and to make it make the steps properly. It's way easier to think in a 1-2-3 wheels based bottom body, it can be faster (which means work efficiency) and way easier to be stabilized and control its movements.
    4-leg dog robots are a different topic, 4 legs make it stable (passively) but capable to handle rough terrains but a humanoid waiter or warehouse worker etc. robot does not need to be capable to handle rough terrain BUT needs to fast.
