I saw this exact video as an ad before a different RUclips video recently. I ALWAYS skip ads that are that long after the 5 seconds that you have to wait to use the skip button, but I was so intrigued by it that I didn't hit the skip button. I watched the full runtime of it because I'm genuinely impressed by this thing.

The Chinese are making rapid progress with their robotics and AI. It’s no surprise that two of the best robotics and drone companies in the world both Chinese - Unitree and DJI. And they have announced to begin mass production of humanoid robots by 2025.

"In June 2021, the Concomitant Bionic Robot Go1 was released, which became the first mobile robot in the history of human science and technology to truly enter the public life with its ultra-low price and excellent sensory movement ability that broke through the industry limit."
Unitree is surpassing Boston Dynamics by a wide margin. As of now, Boston Dynamics has yet to release a low-price, consumer graded quadruped. Back to Unitree, they have already made Humanoid robots with their H1 and G1 models that are at a consumer price. Acknowledge that the quote above says "first mobile robot in the history of human science and technology to truly enter the public life with its ultra low price and excellent sensory movement ability that broke through the industry limit." **first mobile robot in the history of human science and technology to truly enter the public life.**
Unitree themselves have even stated that they are not in a competition with Boston Dynamics. However, their B1 and B2 models are extremely close, if not better, than Boston Dynamics' Spot quadruped. If you were to go on Unitree's website, the B1 and B2 models are priced at a measly 65000-74000 FOB China; in American USD, this is roughly 10,000 dollars. (FOB stands for free on board. This is a shipping currency used by China at the moment.)
And, to support my argument, Boston Dynamics has a Spot model. While it is pretty remarkable, it once again lacks a majority of the features that the B2 has, not to mention its 75,000 price tag. Not 75,000 FOB China, 75,000 US dollars. There is an obvious choice if you are looking to purchase one of these, and Unitree stands at the top with almost no competitor.
