How does the lidar handle still water such as ponds, canals, etc? I would hate to spend so much money for it to misstep straight off a ledge into water 😅
I think many issues like the stairs walking can be mostly fixed with software improvements, the hardware seems to be there to do these tasks. both in terms of kinematics as well as sensor feeds etc
Would be nice to use it as a watchdog for my ground. But i think that the battery doesn’t last several weeks? How long do they last? And is it water resistant?

Have the robot bring you a TV remote while you are in the living room and comfy on the sofa?
One solution to the stairclimbing would be to 3D print another foot and clamp them on half way up the calf of the back legs extending forward ? Shouldn't get in the way of too much otherwise .

Actually it can climb up those stairs in the video. Just change it to AI mode 😉
Climbing stairs is one of the main selling points in the commercial. This is a product fail.
