      Hi Jonathan - Thank you for taming it to the point I had a chance - LOL - It really was a load of my shoulders getting this one launched and flying myself... I really do appreciate you help... Now we just have to do the same for the T-33.... Stay safe.. Martyn

      Its a good flying machine - I do think that the T-33 and most defiantly the Viper are better thats not to say the hawk is bad in any way - Thanks for watching and your comment

    Really nice maiden and it flew so nice. I fly my one on a 1350 mah 3s and I get a solid 3 1/2 mins flight. It’s a little twitchy until you get used to it. Might put a stabiliser on my one to help with the wind. Lovely machine. Well done fella.

    • @FlankerTanker
      @FlankerTanker  2 года назад

      Thanks - I only use the 2200mAh as I have a lot of them and these ones are 70c - I have set it for 3 1/2 Mins now and will see what its like after a few more flights - they are very Twitchy if set as per the manual - mine are dialled back to 3 ro 4 mm max.... again Thanks Terry 😀

    Martyn, great maiden flight. It looks great in the air. This one has certainly made you happy. "Safe" is used to make sure that you get your plane back in one piece, of which makes us all happy. AirHammer out!!

    • @FlankerTanker
      @FlankerTanker  2 года назад

      Hi AirHammer - Yep does not take much to make me Happy LOL... especially as I "failed to launch" on its maiden flight - Used Safe settings for the Hand Launch then switched it off from the first turn (I actually do not like flying in safe - don't feel as if I am in control) - Happy with this as my maiden flight.

      Thanks Sean - a little bit of a School Boy reaction - due to Pressure falling away - I really had my doubts about flying this one - Oh it also helps (see next Video - on this aircraft) to have a great big sack of Luck .... (Spektrum SAFE Mode).. lol.... at launch....

  • @BRIANFORWARD1

    WELL DONE ME OL MATE....
    NO shame in using safe on take off or in landing if the weather conditions are crap... As I've always said in real world planes no pilot could safely take off without the computer stabilisers. Unless its a cessna type high wing kite
    You certainly sounded as joyful as a young lad on Christmas morning
    And why not...
    ALL the best

      Or if ones hand launch skills are a little poor - as are mine with this one - the Reduced rates and SAFE - saved this for me on the next flight I did - Video to follow......I was over the Moon Brian - felt a bit of a failure for the Actual Maiden - having to hand it over to John, but happy that I did - as he set all the movements and trims up - all I did was put in the AR630 and set that up - really nice RX - not cheap but worked well - I have put one in the T33 - Stay safe and sorry about the rain.

      @@FlankerTanker how about using the Gina Alan under arm launch. From my prospective your launch has more power than the EDF and there's a short transitional period where it hangs there before the jet kicks in

      Thanks Ian - and thanks for the Tips and Info - they are a nice RX those AR630's not cheap but they do the trick - Saw your Re-maiden of the T33 , Nice Repair , brilliant - set the CG to 67mm from leading edge on mine - would like to know the movements if you don't mind as my T33 will be due for a maiden soon...

      Same as the Bae Hawk!! With 60% low rates 30 + expo 70% mid rates 30% + expo and 80% high rates with 40% + expo SAFE and AS3X at factory settings!! With the correct CG it felt very similar to the Hawk 😄👍

      LOL - Oh it does not take much to get me excited- Like a little school Boy playing marbles ..LOL....Used safe on the hand Launch then switch it off as from the first turn - but AS3X was active during the whole flight as the wind was picking up.....
