My very first RV ever was sold to me with both black and gray tank valves OPEN. So no matter how many RUclips videos I watched to make sure I emptied my tanks correctly that first time, nothing could have prepared me what happened when I took the cap off 😅 Thankfully, I was so worried about making a mistake that I put a Rubbermaid tote under the tank valves which stopped my poop from stinking up the campground by drying on the gravel below. I was in shock until I heard someone yell "SHUT THE VALVES, QUICK!". I had no idea what had happened until, thankfully, I'd taken pictures of everything to have a reference point from the day I bought it and... sure enough, valves were open the day I bought it and that cap had been working overtime for about a month.
😂oh my goodness! I’ve had customers open and closed their valves with the cap on and not tell me!! Go to take the cap off and end up with a lap full of yuck. A mistake you only make once.
Had a friend who was being bullied by another camper couple and they pulled her valves with the cap on. So when she finally got around to dumping, what a mess. The problem started when they wanted her camp site which she was already on. So petty.
To seat a tire I use good old compressed air. IDK why folks feel the need to use explosives. In other news... I knew that slides could be a PIA at the worst time to be a PIA, so we specifically bought a trailer without. It's one less thing to maintain and I don't have to tow the extra weight.
Okay not RV related but actually related to the guy who TRIED to go through the drive thru. I drove for a big trucking company and a newbie just got his new truck and had a load on his back. Guess he forgot he was driving a rig and decided to grab a quick bite at Whataburger before hitting the road. Tried to go through the drive thru. The most embarrassing part for him was the terminal was right next door and all of us out sitting in the outdoor part saw him do it. Needless to say, he never got to deliver that (or any other) load for that company.🤷🏼♀️ I’ve always said those automatic trucks weren’t a good idea. People forget they’re driving a big rig.

That’s wild!
My neighbor in the rv park has a slide in a slide. They have a toy hauler
I talked with my Dad (who went to RV school with me and is now a tech) and he’s seen them a couple times.
Oof the idea just gives me anxiety.
