You wouldnt believe how many of my shippers told me you can get your truck in here no problem lol. It was my call whether i could or couldn't. If i determined i couldnt, then the shipper was responsible for paying extra for the shuttle truck. You really can't blame the park manager. Its your lack of experience that got you in trouble. But thanx for the entertaining vidio, i haven't had a good laugh today so thanx. Those people in NC deserve a big thank you for getting your butt out of that mess lol. Im sure Geico will thank you also with a much larger monthly insurance payment lol. Whenever i did do property damage with my rig i always had to pay for it. Happy motoring to you and good luck. And again thanks for the laugh lol.
What part about that story was funny??????? I agree with you about the blame game!! however I found NOTHING FUNNY about his misfortune!!! It sucks, he was kind enough to share his lack of good judgment, however we could all learn from him. Even you Mr. I drive for Mayflower! big deal you move people's furniture and shit!!!! WHOOOOPI
As I pilot I guess I have the mentality that agrees with you... Blaming the park manager for something that happens while "in command" of a massive vehicle kind of rubs me the wrong way. I always operate under the rule that, while I can use helpers, anything that happens while I'm in command of a vehicle / plane / whatever is 100% my responsibility during that time, the buck stops with me. If I'm not sure about what I'm being told I check it out myself.
@@NathanKull I understand Nate, good Idea to check yourself and not take anyone else's word for it. I was a bit harsh with my comment also. Thanks for your comment
I have a 34’ C-Class….sweet RV. Never let anyone tell me ‘what’s what or where’. He seems like a nice fella but he’s trying to paint the picture without saying, “I f’d up and it’s on me”.
My parents were full time RVers for over 10 years. My dad said that if he wasn't sure about a place, he walked it first and then decided about staying there. I'm betting that he'd have passed on that RV park, even if it meant not staying in that area. They had a 35' Alpenlite 5th wheel towed with a big RAM diesel pickup...another long tall vehicle like your. I'm glad you're okay and able to get another rig and back on the road.
The momentum is a good trailer. If you think that any trailer would withstand the torque that was put on this unit to twist the frame and tear the back off then you do not know anything about any sort of construction.
@@sleim754 Sorry, but look at the picture. The back end has six screws holding it together on each side. Do you think the entre back wall of the RV should be held on with screws like that?
We hate to hear that this happened! Thanks for being willing to share your story! It can really help a lot of people out and hopefully prevent this from happening again! ~ Shion and Matthew
@@MyBucketListDay Sure would have been nice to have heard more about & seen your new "rig," inside & out. I kept anticipating a video tour,@ least of outside
WOW, that totally sucks. So sorry you had to go through all the hassle and frustration. You may have lost a few months and material things but enjoy the times you have ahead. I had open heart surgery a few years ago and it has pretty much kicked my butt. Now I travel vicariously through people like you. Be safe, be happy and enjoy.
i lost everything after having a stroke. i learned having things is nice but not the most important thing in life. getting a cargo trailer to convert to a rv is my goal now. stay tuff there is always some one worse off than we are :)
Not saying you are wrong. Id prefer to build out my own RV too. But a number of RV parks will not accept "homebuilt" RV's to stay in the park. That is a common theme that pops up in the skoolie community. It may not be a problem if you intend to use your RV in a manner that doesn't require RV park stays. Dispersed camping out west and boondocking a homebuilt rig should be fine.
I am currently building out a school bus, I am living in it while I’m building it. One thing I can tell you after 18 years driving truck over the road is that you are absolutely correct. If your gut says no, no is what you go with. I am so glad you got through it and you’re continuing on.
I'm 3 years into my skoolie build and I watch all these videos too. I want as much info as possible to be as safe as possible when we hit the road this summer for a 2-5 year adventure.
So lets get a tour of this new rig and get on with the adventures! Whenever you find yourself thinking about this debacle with your previous rig focus on only one thing: It was a life lesson that taught you to trust your instincts above all else. Then let it go. It took me a long time to realize that stressing out over the past is a pointless endeavor.
That whole debacle would have made my head explode. When I call to make a reservation I tell them I'm an old lady and it would be to everyone's benefit for them to give me an easy in, easy out campsite. Usually works because I tell them I'm dead serious. I can get my 27' TT into tight spots, but it takes me a minute. And of course there are always the lookie-loo's who either give conflicting advice, or just stand and watch LOL. Glad you're up and running again.
Glued and screwed, the ramp door is connected to the floor not the rear wall, if it isn't it should be. It took a lot of force to tear that wall off. Like the song says, "Always look on the Sunny Side", stuff can be always be replaced, it's just stuff. But I'll admit when things like this happen....It'll test your "Sunny Side"
Thank you for sharing this. Probably the most important video I’ve seen while shopping for my fifth trailer. The lesson is “...always go with your gut!”
Sir:, I commend you on your composure and candour. A terrible thing to have to endure. I’m glad you were a to get things resolved with insurance and get back to living your dream. Very good lesson for people to learn from!!! I wish you luck, happiness and safety on your adventures! Thanks for the video . J.
I’m so sorry this happened to you. You nailed it on the head, trust your gut! It’s your rig, your home, your insurance. The park manager doesn’t have any skin in the game. God speed sir, I wish you all the best in your adventures. One day I’ll see you on the open roads or camping!
@@FullTimeEuphoria I think that one is a little longer. I think it's in the 28ft range which would still be a nice length for most State and National Parks. It could present some problems for some camp sites but it's still a pretty comfortable length.
Yep...as I watched this...I was so thankful for our 20 foot Winnebago 1706FB...high ground clearance, and that it would have followed us nicely down that slight grade this poor chap got shipwrecked upon. Also, only being 2,900 pounds dry, doesn't hurt either!
@@MyBucketListDay that’s true.. I know my husband and I are trying to buy an rv for the full time living. We have more todo before we can officially make it happen. Just baby steps..
I feel your pain... I had bought a brand new rig and not even a few months old had a fire in it. GD determined it was their fault and gave me a new one-woo hoo!! It gets better. Good luck.
You have the right attitude. You gave yourself time to cool off, possibly make a list of what needed to be done and followed through. I hope in the end, the park was held responsible via insurance. You seem to be a great guy. Happy trails to you & your friends as you make check marks on your Bucket Lists.
I am so, so sorry this happened to you. I do pretty fair listening to my gut about stuff. I just purchased my own home and spent a great deal of time looking. When I found one that I thought would work, the realtor explained that the home had recently gone through some extensive foundation work and access to under the master bedroom was blocked. They kept telling me that all was OK and there should be no problems. I went back to my apartment to think about it over the weekend. My gut was telling me that this was not a good place for me. I kept going back and looking at another home that no one wanted to purchase because it needed alot of inside cosmetic work. It had a new roof, new electrical, new siding, new furnace, new central air and new hot water heater. It was on a nice, quiet street with pleasant neighbors. I finally set up time to see it and I fell in love with it! I felt so positive about this house. When I went back to my list of things I wanted in a home, this home had every thing I had listed except a garage. There is a car port and I suppose I could build a one car garage later if I want to. Every single thing fell into place with this house and it just needed a little TLC on the inside. The best thing about it was that it ended up having a well. I had a well person come over and get it up and running. The water has some Coliform in it but it can be run through a gravity water purifier and it will clean it so although I use it for watering, I can use it for emergency water if needed. One of the things I really wanted was a well. So I was pretty happy about all of it!
I'm new to RVing and I appreciate the advice. I'd be apt to listen to someone like the park manager over my own gut. Well, I would have before seeing this video.....
Thanks for sharing. wow... an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. My heart goes out to you. Your misery is not entirely lost. Many have learned from your experience.
Wow, glad you are ok and back on the Adventure. Positive take-away is no one was hurt, you can always replace "things". Take care, be safe (I know, I am a bit late), enjoy your future adventures.
I came across your video, I’m so sorry this happened. Been in the same deal in Virginia. But I listened to my gut and walked the roadway and spot, I never would have made it. We left and spent the night in a truck stop. Be careful out there.
I'm a retired AC mechanic, when we would be towing aircraft we had wing walkers watching for clearance and obstructions. Even if the wing walker was negligent and an accident accurred, the guy in the pilot's seat or tow vehicle steering the plane was ultimately responsible. Sucks you had a crappy wing walker.
Not even an RV'er but being a mechanic & contractor I sure feel your pain ! Seen so many videos on problems with such huge trailers it just does not look like fun to me at all ! Hoping to get a small motorhome sometime soon. Hope your having a better day today !
Thanks 👍. This was a year and a half ago and things are great. We have been in the new RIG (same model) traveling the country. We've just learned to better scouting on RV parks thatclaime we can fit. We never truse a RV park employee anymore. most of them have never even been in an RV much less maneuver one.
The first thing that I learned when I first started towing was know your trailers dimensions and capabilities. Never take someone else's point of view as gospel. You, and only you, know how your trailer handles and if you take a look at a situation and it doesn't feel right go with what you know and to heck with the person that is telling you "Oh, we've had plenty of people do this". Ground clearance is just as important as overall height. It totally sucks that this happened to you and you're not the first RUclips'r that I've seen that this has happened to. Maybe the addition of wheels on the frame in the back may have helped prevent this? Maybe not in soft soil though. Good to know that everything worked out for you!
I kind of know how you feel. I booked a space in a park and knew I was going to get there after dark. Found my space and had to work hard (in the dark) to get my 34' into the space (between trees with trees on both sides of the road). Managed to get in with out hitting anything and no damage after about 20 minutes of maneuvering and getting out and maneuvering and getting out over and over. Next morning I got up and took a walk and discovered if I had driven around, I could have pulled straight in. In short, it helps to know where you are going.
@@MyBucketListDay At night I like parking at Cracker Barrel and then Walmart. If I have a spotter it is not so important at most places. The the word most is key.
You're totally right about trusting your gut, We got in a bad situation where our motorhome was about to roll down a 150 foot cliff, not fun, but I managed to work at it for about 4 hours and got it away from the edge and saved it !! Glad things worked out !!
Damaging your rig is such a gut wrenching experience! At first it feels like the end of the world but the heartache passes. That's why we buy insurance. I'll keep you in my prayers for safer journeys. Keep up the videos! Stay safe!
Don’t beat yourself up over this. I drive semi trucks otr many years ago customers would try and pressure me to put my truck places I knew it couldn’t go their famous for saying trucks do it all the time than you hit something and they act like you killed there first born. I’ve since learned I do not argue with people after 30 years of doing this I get back in my truck and I leave. They can chase me down the road all they want I will not wreck my truck or trailer for anyone ever again
@@loujohnson6143 I bought a 40 foot Tiffin Class A last weekend. It's definitely better than a 30 footer, for me. If I'm pulling into a mobile home park with a bunch of hills, maybe my Toyota Celica would be better, but it's really hard to cook inside the Celica. Bigger is definitely better in many cases, and having room to live in, I would think so as well.
Well, no. Perfect is what's best for each of us, and we are all different, and there are RVs of all sizes. It can be hard to find what's personally best, though. I have an old 1991 23' Lazy Daze, which is VERY well made... but more and more, I just like going out into the desert and the hills near my Tombstone, Arizona in a small 15' Transit Connect. Go figure! As for his long, long trailer... what a beauty, an actual home with all the bells and whistles, perhaps with many ladies chasing him down the highway just to get at that world-class kitchen!
@@jondonahue7163 Well said. We all have different needs, tow capacities, driving and maneuverability skills, budgets, etc.. So much goes into what's "perfect" for you.

Sounds like someone may be a good candidate for a smaller, perhaps more easily moved RV? We love our 1971 Revcon and no slideouts. Never been stuck and we even fit through the tunnel to Zion. (Also, always lots of thumbs up for our beautiful resto mod!)
@@MyBucketListDay Funny story. We once had a fellow who looked at our classic coach and said; "Nice but you need slideouts." We chuckled for days! My son has a huge moho with 3 slides. We worry how much 'slideout repairs' will some day cost him. IDK, simple sure works for us. Cheers.
Sorry to hear this happened to you and your trailer. We arent full timers. So we have stayed with smaller trailers and we still have run into issues at times.
Thanks for telling your story, and I'm glad you are back to normal. I'm glad I stumbled upon your video, because I have been considering selling our house and land to go traveling. We too often don't think about what could happen, and I realize that not having a house to retreat to, could be problematic. Perhaps we will keep our 15 yr old fiver and our house. I'm thinkin that we don't really need that shiney new luxurious motorhome afterall. Thanks again
I really appreciate this advice. It's really important we not give into the pressure of others. Just because they say someone else can do it doesn't mean it's right for everybody. And every rig is different anyway so how can anyone other than you really be sure what is right for you. I am going to remember your words for years to come.
...and I was pissed off because my wife broke the tub faucet last night. This video showed up just as I'm about to go into Lowe's and get some cpvc and fittings. I'll have it repaired before sundown. When we think we have it hard, It's guaranteed someone else has it harder. Just for the record...this happened in NC. 😁
I’m sorry this happened to you. Your message of beware of what a campground owner/host/worker tells you is an important one. I stayed at a park where they insist on taking you to your spot and guide you while you back in. This guy backed me into a transformer box. I didn’t have as much damage as you, but I learned that day to never trust these guys completely. Wishing you safe travels.

Oh my gosh. So sorry this happened. I’d say you learned a lot from this. Like you said; listen to your gut. Don’t listen to others. They have no stake in the game.

@@heretodaygone2morrowrving231 I had his EXACT 43 ft Grand Design Momentum, shit box on wheels.18,000 lb triple axel Toy Hauler with bed over the garage. Things broke on a daily basis and I was doing it FT as well and wanted to keep moving every couple days. These big ass Fifth Wheels are not meant for that. They should be in the category as Destination Trailers because the more you Drag it around the Country the more everything Breaks and the more situations that you find yourself in like him. This is just the beginning, mark my words, if he thinks he can drive Full Time around the Country then unfortunately this is just the beginning of the nightmare. @@Rogue_1987 You'd probably poop your pants if you've seen where I've taken my 34' 2005 Montana Fifthweel with 3 slides lol. I've literally taken it up mountain dirt roads in Montana and Colorado. I wouldn't be able to handle a big 3 axle like this guy I'd have broken it the first day if it was mine lol. That 'hill' he was on (granted cameras make things flat) was nothing compared to what I've done with my camper but it also sits a lot taller and only weighs around 13k pounds loaded.
4:35 me holding my commercial class a license in one hand and my phone in the other, watching this in my 2017 peterbilt and wondering where the big rig he was referring to is. I'm sorry your beautiful RV got ruined. I'm wondering if you had castors welded to the rear bumper if it would have rode up on the castors and saved your toy hauler. I have them on my Coachman and have used them a few times. Rear most axle off the ground
Thanks you for the video. It's a terrible experience, but I wanted to thank you for sharing. Life is full of complications and letting us see what your going through really helps to get the "full picture" of the RV life. God bless and I look forward to sharing more of your RV journey.
That model has had numerous issues with that happening to multiple people. Only 4 or so screws on each side seems crazy. Grand Design needs to improve the design on the rear. If nothing else weld rollers on the back so that doesn't happen.
UltraFab Jumbo Rollers are what you’re looking for. Check their website, search on RUclips-I think there’s some videos about how good they are. But let me ask: Do you think the big jumbo rollers welded on would have helped any or would have prevented the catastrophic damage?
Wow, compared to my 40-foot RAPTOR Toy Hauler, your rig sits way lower. I think that my rig would have made it in and out no problem. So sorry that you had this experience.
I was curious about that. I've been eyeing the momentum series just because I love grand design, but this trailer seems to sit really low and the hydraulic stabilizer legs seem to hang very low as well. Some of the sites I've been at, I wondered, would I even be able to do this with a Momentum?
I've taken my 34' Montana Fifthwheel up some serious mountain roads before not even camp grounds and haven't had any issues yet. I like to push things to their limits and honestly I've made contact with my overhang on the bed, not by a lot but it was touching a little and still didn't drag the camper anywhere. I think his big momentum is just made for pavement which is kinda sad, might as well stay in a hotel at that point lol.
God bless you what a nightmare I could imagine the amount of stress you were feeling it’s amazing that you Didn’t suffer any illness over this issue God bless keep strong
I don't think this is the one they were referring to if you're talking about the insurance video from about a day ago. Although, it does bring to mind, was this guy properly insured for full time like the odd squad mentioned? In the end I'm glad he is okay and back in the road!
No, not the one Odd squad was talking about, and yes I was covered as a full timer, with full replacement insurance.. They wrote a check for a brand new one that was $18K more than the one I paid for.
So can you please tell me what size and brand you ended up with? I’m so sorry.. Happy you bounced back.. hugs and hope to see you on the road.. 7yrs full time 38’ carriage cameo, solar and composting toilet and loving it.. been from the Keys to Nova Scotia to Vancouver, Banff to Mexico.. be safe and Happy Trails..
DAMN!!! I’m so sorry that you you had to deal with that experience. That camp ground should of been held 100% responsible for that accident. NOT your insurance company. Then, there is “pain & suffering”. Too bad you’re not a lawyer.
To each their own but you can count me as one that is willing to sacrifice space for something more manageable. I've lived in apartments with less space than that trailer. I can see needing something big if you're full timing with a wife and some kids. But it still seems something a bit smaller would still suffice. But that's me. I've known 3 people in my life that purchased big six figure rigs and all of them eventually downsized in some way for varying reasons. While none of them said their old rig was too big, they all did downsize when they didn't necessarily have to. I think that says a lot.
You have a monster 3 axle toy hauler what did you expect? That trailer is good for two places, the desert or the open beach. When in doubt, walk it before you enter. I drove vacuum trucks in the oil field and we always walked the path before getting in trouble!
I don't understand why the back fell off. All I see is a straight road. I'm about to start my own rv life and I am trying to learn as much as I can. I'm not sure what hazard I'm supposed to be looking out for here. Was it the grade of the road? Sorry I just don't understand.
Thank you so much for this video. More and more travelers need to bring these types situations to the forefront. I try really hard to read as many reviews prior to arriving at a particular park, however sometimes there is it not enough information so we contact the parks and hope that they are honest or better yet knowledgable of our situations with these big rigs. I see it more and more of these park employees are doing whatever it takes to get you in their park to please the owners. I truly hope that you took the time to review this park so maybe, just maybe it won't happen to others.
My hat is off to you for your courage, determination, endurance, and resilience! May you double and triple up on gains in all forms in the future from the time and resources that you lost.
About 30 years ago we parked our semi in a parking lot that had "do not park here" signs. We were gone for about 4 hours on Thanksgiving Day. Came back and the truck had been towed with a full load in the trailer. We We're told it would be $600 to get the truck out of the impound lot. Then we found out that the truck got broken into and so the impound lot increased the cost to $1000. We should've followed our gut instinct and not parked there because we both saw the sign and ignored it. We totally believe your gut instinct is always right. I'm sorry this happened to you.
@@MyBucketListDay I am a little ashamed for laughing at this so hard. I would be way, WAY more upset if it had happened to me., so here's to you for keeping your cool.
No not shame on the park manager the owner shame on this idiot for not using common sense to stop and take a look around before entering the park. I drove commercial truck for over 30 years you have to have common sense when pulling something thst is big as this. This is why I believe that anybody that pulls or drives a recreational vehicle should have an endorsement on their license like we have to have on our commercial driver's licence for everything we need to run airbrakes, tanks, doubles and triples hasmat we have directed endorsement we don't just get a licence to haul everything we have to be trained in each one of those.
Thank you for sharing your experience. Is your replacement rig the same model, same manufacturer? Did you consider getting a rig with more ground clearance to mitigate having a similar problem while maneuvering on a slope?
@@danybarceloux7950 nope no jealousy I have camped from tent, tent trailer, pick up truck camper shell, cabover camper, 24 ft 5th wheel, 25 ft class A, 32 ft class, A with a 26 ft enclosed trailer behind it for the offroad toys, and jeep with small trailer. We were just there for the open house at Western Carolina University on March 20th. We stayed at the Sleep Inn in Bryson City. The RV place where they took your RV looks just like one that we drove by. It was an old gas station? I really like that area and there did seem to be a lot of RV parks in the area. Our cell service in that area was very bad as well. Even at the hotel.
I had a 24 ft bumper pull trailer. It had wheels attached to the rear end of the frame that came in real handy. Many times I drug coming out of parking lots but no damage
Oh my! The same thing happened to us a few years back. Our camper wasn't' damaged but we almost lost it as it started sliding down a hill. The site and access roads were so unlevel my husband had to actually dig a hole on the front end and use several brick blocks in the back. Not safe at all but they refused to refund out money and said the site was fine. All I could do was leave a bad review and never go back. o sorry your experience was much worse! Yup! Astonishingly junky construction! Put that on the list of Rv's never to buy!!!!
Yes, room for improvement
The momentum is a good trailer. If you think that any trailer would withstand the torque that was put on this unit to twist the frame and tear the back off then you do not know anything about any sort of construction.
@@sleim754 Sorry, but look at the picture. The back end has six screws holding it together on each side. Do you think the entre back wall of the RV should be held on with screws like that?
All these trailers are slapped together as fast as possible..... overpriced junk

Thanks for the comments.

I agree!Smdh!🤦🤔😱🎯🙄😡😠😤😬👍👍💯💯💯
Glued and screwed, the ramp door is connected to the floor not the rear wall, if it isn't it should be. It took a lot of force to tear that wall off.
Yes, Always trust your gut. I forgot that rule that day...

Yes I told myself that evening thats what I knew to do but let her talk me into it. Went against my gut. Will never do that again.
Right...
I’m so sorry for your troubles. You handled it very well. Thanks for the warning.
I believe you are at St. Armonds Circle in Sarasota FL.
Yes I am!
Thanks for you comments
For sure! If you have trouble with the size of your RV it might be time to downsize. For everyone’s safety on the road.

Bigger is better when a trailer is your house.
Thanks, that was a bit over a year ago, but all good and have been on the road with a new rig ever sense
That model has had numerous issues with that happening to multiple people. Only 4 or so screws on each side seems crazy. Grand Design needs to improve the design on the rear. If nothing else weld rollers on the back so that doesn't happen.
Yes, I am planning on adding 4 very strong steel rollers next month
Only 4 screws not only for the back but for a door that goes up & down??? Typical crappy build as many as possible mindset. It’s stupid
I’ve seen a few guys weld on the heavy duty dumpster style. Those will hold all the weight and last for sure !
Same here, 44ft Raptor 429 and it sits higher also.
I was curious about that. I've been eyeing the momentum series just because I love grand design, but this trailer seems to sit really low and the hydraulic stabilizer legs seem to hang very low as well. Some of the sites I've been at, I wondered, would I even be able to do this with a Momentum?
This model does sit a bit lower than the others, I think 3"
@@MyBucketListDay this might explain why the campground manager has had other large rigs in this spot with no issues.

@@rtsteele567 my thoughts exactly. leave some stuff behind get a reasonable sized trailer.

Thank you so much for this video. More and more travelers need to bring these types situations to the forefront. Then we found out that the truck got broken into and so the impound lot increased the cost to $1000. We should've followed our gut instinct and not parked there because we both saw the sign and ignored it. We totally believe your gut instinct is always right. I'm sorry this happened to you.
Wow that stinks on your semi.... Thanks for your kind words
Gut instinct? You ignored signs stating no parking ...that’s not gut instinct...you got hit with karma
hopefully you will be adding Bogey Wheels under the rear frame of the NEW One and back up camera ???
you can thank me later lol
Have the camera, but leaning towards skid plate
Did you get the manager of that RV park to,pay for your hotel stay, the rental of the U-Haul and storage facility?
Well you can cross destroying your first RV off the list ;) Sarasota

Shame on that park manager just looking for the almighty dollar and at best maybe she'll miss a night's sleep.
Yes, not sure she even lost a nights sleep. She was a nice person, but just unaware of conditions for such a large rig.
Never let anyone who’s never done anything tell you how to do something!
@@handyman432011 what language are you trying to speak?
@@banjoboy01 He is speaking common sense ,if you don't recognize it then you are likely as big a fool as this guy.
NEVER listen to any one! YOU are the Driver!
Now you tell me...
Thank you for sharing your experience. Is your replacement rig the same model, same manufacturer? Did you consider getting a rig with more ground clearance to mitigate having a similar problem while maneuvering on a slope?
Yes same model, but newer.
Exactly why I like much smaller rigs. If you need that much room then stay home, just my opinion.
That is his home
You talkin like if your the ones payin ??? That kinda comment is unecessary... pure jealousy ...
Probably more than you. So no just saying the bigger it is the more headache, unless your just going to move it to a spot and leave it for months until the next spot. Jealous not in the least.
As mentioned, it is my home and fits me just fine, thanks for the comments
Ok I'm sorry but some of ya'll need to downsize to a more manageable rig. If you need to bring the whole house, then you might think about just staying home.
Well, this rig fits me just fine and I now trust my gut 100% to go or not go.
Just downsized to 41' for 2 for of us. Just about right as we travel 6 - 7 months annually.
After watching all these different channels about R/V living, I have decided to get a van and go south 4 the winter and keep my house. Thanks 4 the content.vans are a lot less problems!
That is awesome! You will be upgrading after 6 months...
Talk about shaking your head in total disbelief. Been there, done that. Glad you didn’t let it stop you and you’re back on the road again. Smile, it’s over🙃
Yes! Thank you!
That is in Sarasota Florida in a shopping area on Saint Armand's Circle. My wife and her late Aunt shopped there often.

Yes, no cell service there
We've had cable and overhanging branch issues before. Caught them all in time. No damage to the rig or their property.
happy to hear
I had a 24 ft bumper pull trailer. It had wheels attached to the rear end of the frame that came in real handy. Many times I drug coming out of parking lots but no damage
Yes, I was going to do that but the manufacture was against that idea
Guess we always have to look for the silver lining though. Happy traveling!
Thanks, you moving forward
Sorry that happened, glad you made it through. Great message.
I appreciate it, all good now.
