I get the feeling that the Thundertron/Calcitron/Nightstrike 3-pack will make fans who've already got mainline Thundertron _salty_
I passed on it just in case they did something like this, glad that paid off.

Nightstrike was another solo episode bot, a bat who didn't transform on screen. Instead he used fear to leech Energon.

The “””Go! color scheme for Thundertron””” you mentioned is a separate character called Go Prime.
Seeing the price complaints about Missing Link Bumble and Cliff is so strange to me. Given the build quality these will likely have, the price is pretty reasonable. I saw someone say their price is on par with S.H.Figuarts, as if that was some kind of "gotcha"... ignoring that their price is on par with _the entry level SHF_ that is intentionally priced lower than usual to get new collectors into the lines. You can get a Goku or a Luffy or an Anya for their price, but you're not getting anything else from their sublines. It feels like either a disingenuous argument or at the very least an uninformed one.

@@mitchgreene570 I get that, but it’s more the fact that it looks like a Skull that belongs to a very angry Italian man that I find interesting.
I do want to get a Party Wallop but I'm only getting one. I have no interest in having a full team of Turtles because I don't even think it should be the Turtles, it should just be an original character as the other Crossover figures have been. And I hate that name, I'm going to end up just having him be Metal Head.
Also I don't think G.H.O.S.T. is actually done. Karen Croft is gone but Jon Schloder is still around. We never got an answer for what that ooze was from "Bear Necessities" that they were just dumping in the forest. Also the G.H.O.S.T. logo looks like a Quintesson face. Quintintus Prime who created the Quintessons according to the Covenant of Primus is in this series. We've seen the Sharkticons in the series which it was mentioned they were being enslaved by alien invaders on their home world and it's never mentioned who those invaders were but given the Sharkticons have been slaves to the Quintessons in G1 and Cyberverse I have a feeling it was them. I honestly think the Quintessons are actually the ones controlling G.H.O.S.T. because the series keeps hinting at them.
Also that ooze from "Bear Necessities" reminds me of the ooze from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and isn't like anything that has ever been in Transformers before. Considering that Paramount owns both Ninja Turtles and Earthspark and we've already seen Hasbro produce a Crossover figure, I have a feeling they're setting up for a crossover in this show. Quintessons are very similar species to the Krang/Utrom from Ninja Turtles and might actually all be part of the same species in this shared universe. Oh there's also the fact that Ghoids are basically like Robot Foot soldiers and I could totally imagine a Krang, Utrom, or Quintesson piloting one of those robots to pass as human. Granted Quintessons are usually much larger, typically Transformer sized but we've seen different takes on them before and the only thing they usually share in common is the tentacles which is the main thing that makes me think of Krang and Utrom. Technically Daleks could also fall under that description and also have been confirmed to exist in Transformers but I doubt we're going to see that happen since the BBC and kind of also Disney now have rights to them.
Party Wallop was designed the way he was for MAXIMUM PROFIT.
Apparently they tried a TMNT collab before but the licenses was way too much money. So they designed the character to urge you to buy 4 of it to offset that.

I don’t mind the Thundertron situation. You basically have two options depending on whether or not you want the figure with/without all the extra stuff, though of course the different head sculpts and preferences there are still a factor
I’m curious to see what head will end up on the Alpha Trion/Trizer repaint. Definitely expecting the toy head for Go Prime

I always loved The Loyal Subjects TFs, especially laserbeak. Funko looks okay, but definitely inferior to those.

I have no problem with missing links price, but comparing the price of a third party legends figure and a figure with the engineering of a 1984 minibot is pretty disingenuous
Only in transformation steps, not in overall engineering and part count for the articulation.
Same price, because people will pay extra for "Bumblebee".
