006. Diorama Accessories & Props Part 1

In this episode of "Mechbay Dios" i'll be going over some diorama resources that I stumbled upon and learned from other dio builders. A show and tell of the different accessories that you can pick up for your dioramas.

Bro I love all your Dioramas, you have a talent out of this world, it's funny because I have some of the same stuff you pick up for your Dioramas, my wife and I go out almost every other day, searching Hobby Lobby, the dollar stores, and other places for stuff like this, you might want to try searching ebay for Gloria Dollhouse furniture, some of the scales on that stuff is perfect for 6 to 7 inch figures, all you need to do is repaint, Thanks for the upload!

Thanks +MrFree2BeMe1 appreciate the love brotha! its funny you mentioned that you go out hunting with the wife for these stuff cuz I also go out with my wife when on the hunt. as long as you have an open mind for creativity, you can find a lot of stuff for dio use on those stores. I bought a similar trash can and I actually don't think they're too big if you're doing a store or back alley. The domestic ones are smaller but at my work they come up to my neck (I'm a very small person). Good video. I use most of the stuff here but I never knew where to get the aluminum folding chairs. I'll have to keep an eye out.
P.S. you are so right about the slime barrels. I've only come across them once and there was only 1 left.

Would the picture frame be too heavy for the stand from The mini lamp? If not that could be added to the mini picture frame for computer monitors.

great videos! thanks for sharing them. What settings do you use to print your signs etc.? and what type of printer do you use/recommend?

Thanks +shelby white I really don't use any special settings when printing my dio labels/signs. I do find laser printer to be the best interms of prints. The only thing that I spend a little bit of time with is when I'm scaling the image to the size that I want. Most of the time I just eyeball and then print it.

The oil barrel slime got discontinued due to kids thinking that the contents were candy and trying to eat it

What are the lamps called like the brand and name of it also what store can I find them in?

I cant recall the exact name brand of the mini lamps but I've only seen them at the Dollar Tree stores. usually located in the school supplies/electronic isles of the store. Hope that helps.

Jeeze what dollar store or dollar trees are you going to? I cant find any of these.
What are the deminsions of the grosser than gross trash cans?

The thing about these Dollar Store, Dollar General, 99 Cents Store, etc. is that they all get items or inventories that can be seasonal only or one time stocks and once they're gone, they're gone or that it'll take them a while to have that item again. I myself haven't seen anymore Grosser than Gross trashcans since I posted this video. I made this video back in March of 2015 so I haven't seen them at any of those bargain stores in almost two years. So you just have to frequent these stores cause you'll never know what you'll stumble into everytime you visit.
