    Very cool. (though the mortar between the bricks is usually not black, but rather a light gray color.)

      This is the simpler way to do it, you can add the step of using some drywall patch mixed with a little grey/brown paint to make more realistic mortar lines

    Wow!!!!!!! I have been making stop motion videos for years using a blue/green screen. I do it Just for fun I still have a long way to go till I am happy lol
    But it’s a way for me to express myself
    I find I can’t get cool and unique camera angles, nor can I put Gambit and Rogue in the same scene. I am going to start making sets and this video made me so happy cause I feel like I can actually do it now. Do you have anymore videos that could help me more? The goal is to stop using the green screen and move onto full sets. I do the lighting, the filming, the animation, editing, sound, and everything else that goes into making movies. It’s a lot of work but I love it! I could do stop motion 24/7 if I didn’t have a full time job lol would do this full time if I could. Creating is the best reward and I ty for making me feel like I can take my little movie clips to the next level.

    The frame rate makes it look like a smooth stop motion.

    Hi well thankyou for the video clip. Since I am new to diorama build so all brickwall builds are good to watch and learn. But the one important thing I was waiting for was the complete measurements for a figurine 6" diorama. So you did start with 1" then ?.
    Anyway thankz for yr video. Cheerz Denise

      Thanks Denise! I'm not sure which measurement you mean but I will say one inch irl is one foot in 6" figure world. I can often be seen with a tape measure around the house trying to figure out the dimensions of items to scale them down =)

    ...I am a fan of you style boss man. What kind of foam are you using? Where can you get it from. I went to Walmart looking for some...but the foam they has was 😬...

      Thanks! It’s pink panther insulation foam board. They sell it at Home Depot in 8’x4’ sheets you can chop up easy with a knife or 2’x 2’ squares.

    my biggest problem is trying to do brick work . I tried to do small bricks and yes as you mentioned it takes forever on a big piece of foam.

    The POV makes me a bit queasy. You shot it from your POV then turned it upside down for some reason. It looks like it's up on the ceiling.

    So measurement wise blocks are 1" by 1", bricks are ??length wise by ?? Height wise?

    • @randomdiorama
      @randomdiorama  5 месяцев назад

      1”x2” the bricks are 1”x .5” but that is not an accurate to scale brick, it’s a cheat because it’s easier. An actual 1/12 brick is much smaller and takes more time to cut.

    also with my brick work is I see others perfect brick pattern and see mine as being a disaster .

    • @mariom6368
      @mariom6368 3 года назад

      Art is never disastrous. The only disaster would be to not follow through. I would approach it as a battle damaged wall. Maybe some blood splatter. Graffiti. There's a ton of possibilities.
