Great tutorial. I know it’s older but I think you showed me my first diorama with brick and got me into it. Also, I watch Friends, King of Queens and Seinfeld when I work.
LOVING that window. The griminess and grit really looks great. This whole dio is really unique, love the layout and all the angle possibilities. That electrical box idea is awesome. Constantly getting new ideas watching your videos, really awesome work!
+Captain McKay Random ... thank you Cap... I always appreciate your comments brotha
Name drop, David Walton! Thanks for the Video AL!

Very cool bro! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you and no problem!
Do you work with fantasy dioramas at all?
Thanks for another how to video. Going for 1/35th scale zombie/apocalypse dioramas and every time I see one of your videos, learn something new. Downloaded a bunch of street/warning/hazmat signs, then shrunk 'em down to sizes needed. Used some spray adhesive to stick them on cardboard sheets, the kind used put in sleeve protectors to protect your comic books. Problem was, wondered if/how I would protect the printouts and thought of using a flat spray lacquer. Will give the stuff you suggested a try. Question is, once this stuff is applied, can you weather the sign using acrylic paints? Putting some signs on a scrap of plastic to see which turns out better as I want to have damaged/twisted signs. And when using a spray can of anything, start BEYOND what ever you want sprayed and continue past that part. Other wise you could end up with streaks/puddles on the edges of your subject.
You are welcome sir. I assume if you use modge podge you can still dry brush over the application . Send me a pic when you are done with it.. I'd love to see something that small!
this dio s tha bomb! You made that like a boss dawg! I love this one cuz you can make shots on almost every angle.yo ever think about makin a bank heist diorama or sumthing with an armored car like brinks (if you kno what i mean)or sum? I'm planning to make something like that when i've got the right figures. Maybe customizing heat figures, but i'll have to find the right figures.do you got any suggestions?or tips?
It's really amazing to watch you progress Al! What a great dio! Thanks so much for covering acrylic sealant & how to apply it!!! I was going to email you questions about that since it seems some times it can melt paint/foam from what I've seen in other dio makers' vids. You mentioned something a lot of other people use & have had success with, what was that specifically? Another quick question: What did you use for the rebar bars sticking out of the top level? I think you've used straws before but these here seem more wire like. Thanks a bunch Al! Learning SO much from you!!! :D
Max Lake ... again... Thank u... but I'm no longer answering these type questions.... all the info is in my 100+ videos here.
Damn that's hella dope
+felipe terrazas ... thank you sir
your work is amazing man so i have to ask what do you use to get such clean cuts for the walkways and doors? and on your warehouse dioramas what tools do you use to put in the metal doors that slide up that you see on warehouses?
albert pohl thank you... all the answers you seek are in my videos... check em out.
Sick
+Manoah Cross ... thank you sir.
I have a question about the acrylic sealer...
is that mandatory for all dioramas so the paint doesnt leak or smear off or so later on?
I know this is an older video, but how did texture the wood? Thanks
killed it again with another dio what is the rebar made of in the roof
+z0m813 .. thank you. The rebar are wax sticks that are from a arts and craft kit
+Al Figures Np I have just been trying to figure out how to make some appreciate it
Hi. What material do you use to make the walls? I have cellfoam 88 but it seems really thin. Awesome dio by the way.
Peter Castle ... Thank you... I used the same material for this one as!I have for all my other dio's.
What's it called? I'm trying to build a dio for my punisher figures.
Peter Castle ... I forget... check out some other videos, I'm sure I mention it somewhere
Do you sell these? Their amazing...
Thank you and yes I do... email me at: al.figures@gmail.com and I'll send you the info.
Muito bom ótimo parabéns ok.
+Thomaz Mumic ... I don't speak that language
Anyone from latinamerica knows what is the name of that pink foam? 'cause i never found it
How much do you sell these for?
what kind of paper did you use for your windows???
I mention it in a few videos, a few times.
hey how do u make the bricks can u make a video how to
+mr usa ... I've never had a tutorial on bricks but I drop hints on it all the time in various videos.
What material did you use?
I_ REUBEN the same material I use for every diorama i make.
what foam did you use
same foam I use for all dio's
sorry im just getting into dios and just wondering whats the best foam to use and can i say your dios are fantastic mate
+Daniel Clarke .. thank you.. just the insulation foam board that Home Depot sells.
To many colors. The layout is well but why so many different colors
Because as artists, it is okay to explore. Some will not like it but that's okay... the person who bought it loved it.
The building good. Coloring sucks on the board and brick. Good job tho on the construction
The board? Just kidding, no need to explain... your opinion is just yours, keep it.
I really love your modeling skills but I'm not a fan of your painting...
IronFreee honestly, your praise and criticism, I take the same: doesn’t matter much to me. Thank for watching.
