  • What is the craziest thing that you have seen at the poker table? I can assure you that you have never seen this! After Nick A runs his top pair into Julia’s pocket kings he’s had enough and decides to leave, but not without terrifying everyone at the poker table first!
When choosing which cash game to play, it's crucial to consider factors like antes, third blinds, straddles, and bomb pots. These elements can significantly alter the effective stakes of the game, doubling or even tripling them compared to what you might anticipate based solely on the blinds. Understanding and accounting for these dynamics is essential for effective bankroll management and game selection.
Julia is an amateur poker player introduced as being from Palmdale U.S.A. and plays fairly regularly on the Hustler Casino Live stream.
Little is known about Nick A, but he is introduced as being a massive hummus enthusiast who occasionally plays on the HCL stream.
Hustler Casino Live is a full-scale, high-value poker production. Close to a million dollars was spent transforming the casino’s high-limit poker room, the Crystal Room, into the set of this new state-of-the-art live show. Hustler Casino Live looks more like coverage of a TV broadcast sporting event and appeals to those beyond the poker community. Unscripted and unedited, they host regular poker streams such as ‘Max Pain Monday’ and ‘Thirsty Thursday’. Some of the most notable poker players to have appeared on the show are Phil Ivey ‘The Tiger Woods of Poker’ ‘RaiseOnce’, Tom Dwan ’durrrr’, Phil Hellmuth ‘The Poker Brat’, Chris Moneymaker, Doug Polk ‘WCGRider, Garrett Adelstein ‘Gman’, Tony Guoga ‘Tony G’ and many more.
    🔍 Pre-Flop:
With the $80 straddle in play, Julia limps from under-the-gun +1 with pocket kings. Mr. J calls the straddle from the third blind holding Q8o, and Nick A, sitting in the under-the-gun straddle, raises to $500 with QJo. Julia makes the call, prompting Mr. J to fold as the two of them head to the flop.
    💸 Flop - Qd 6c 3h:
The queen-high flop gives Nick top pair, but he decides to check to Julia rather than continuation bet. She fires out a bet of $1,000 with her overpair. Nick just calls as they head to the turn.
    💣 Turn - 6d:
The turn is a board pairing 6 of diamonds, bringing a flush draw with it. Nick checks once more to Julia who fires a second barrel for $2,680 with her cowboys, which is enough to put Nick all in. Nick agonizes over the decision but ultimately settles on a call. Nick does not hit his miracle queen on the river & decides that it is now time to leave but not before he leaves his mark. You have to watch this entire poker video to find out what it was!
Jonathan Little analyzes live poker hands from TV poker shows such as Poker After Dark, Hustler Casino Live, The Lodge Poker Club & PokerGO. He also analyzes popular poker vloggers such as Rampage Poker, Brad Owen, Jaman Burton, Ashley Sleeth, Wolfgang Poker and others!

That door shouldn't have been able to break that easily. The glass might have already had a hairline crack in it before he tried to open it the wrong way. I don't believe it's his fault.

That type of glass can't have a hairline crack without exploding like it did. It most likely had metal touching the edge of the glass in between the handle or inside the hinges and when he tried to push it out there was too much pressure where the metal and glass touched which caused it to explode. This was almost definitely caused by an installation error.

At the CROWN Casino, Melbourne, a huge amount of noise was coming from two tables across from me, when a CRAZY thing happened ... Dealer put out the RIVER card TOOO EARLY, before TURN ACTION completed. Last to act player insisted that the river must STAY as is. A huge argument erupted, and the FLOOR and 3 other seniors rushed over. First to act player said to last to act player, ""What? You think you've got King-Jack s, do ya?"" Last to act guy says, ""yeah, yeah I have, actually"". Then last to act player calls the all-in of first to act guy. With turn action now completed, FLOOR rightly RULES that the burn card STAYS burned, BUT that the false river card is placed back into stub, for stub to be properly reshuffled. FLOOR and seniors watch the dealer like a hawk. They then watch dealer cut the deck after his reshuffle, then he puts out the REPLACENT river card without burning. LO & BEHOLD, it's the same card from before. First to act guy rolls over his ACE HIGH Flush. Last to act guy rolls over his KING HIGH StraightFlush. No wonder Last to act guy insisted that the false river card should remain, and not get shuffled back in! So much for Mr. I'm ALL IN with my ACE high flush on the turn guy, who wasn't yet called, when the premature river card came out.

correct ruling on that. seen same in my local casinos, tends to happen mostly in limit games where say 90% of the field acts very quickly all the time, then the last guy to act on flop and/or turn simply takes a reasonable but not crazy fast amount of time, dealer in that exact game/player group is easily trained by habit to think the street of betting is over already but it isn't.

Worst “tease” was when the leader said the only exercise he did was pulling a trigger. Guy gets coolered in Texas $1/2 game, keeps reloading for $100 black chips and going all in preflop or on the flop trying to build back up. Get called 3 ways by big stack ($800+) and another player, triples up. Few hands later get trapped by big stack with AA, but somehow only has ~$200 in stack (no black chip on table anymore), player gets up to leave real quick and big stack calls it out, almost come to blows, both telling the other to go outside etc. Floor bans big stack for 2 weeks I believe but was given the $100 in club hours (no rake in Texas we pay hourly to play), other player with pocketed chips unknown, probably permanently.

Another one happened like 2 weeks ago. The local card room drunk, spilt his entire drink over the table, after being asked to keep his drink on the table instead. They move us to another table, and I thought he got booted, but no, he was out buying another drink, which he almost spilt on the table again upon getting back. They finally booted him when he wouldn't leave after getting knocked out. They refuse to ban him completely for some reason even tho he gets booted about once a month.

I was playing 5/10 limit at Pechanga waaaay back in the day, may have been 2006 or so, I am mid to late 30s. Anyway, guy sits down, 45+ years old, super drunk, straddling and blind raising every hand. I am happy to see him except for him running his mouth quite often. I am in seat 8 he is in 6. I'm engaging him just a bit but I don't want to encourage him either.
After I beat him out of the third or fourth massive pot he'd lost in a row he took his drink and slammed it straight into my face. As a combat vet w a touch of ptsd and someone who simply won't abide this type of thing I, without thinking, came over the table immediately, beating the hell out of this old guy and chips, drinks, card protectors, cards, all of it was scattered everywhere. I am not proud of it, although I'm also not ashamed of it. It's just a thing that happened. Anyway, not allowed in Pechanga anymore and that seems fair.

I think the all in is a HUGE mistake. The number of hole card combinations it will actually work against is even narrower than the number of combinations that are beating her.
She got somebody holding almost the best hand she wins against to almost fold, when she should be trying to get him to WANT to put all his chips in.
I think the flush draw spooked her and she was trying to end the hand. Only thing that makes sense.... but if a 20% draw scares you that bad, you probably should 't be playing at that level.

Yeah, it doesn't really bother me when players are talking while I'm making a decision, but people should be respectful to the players in the hand, and pipe down a bit. I can filter out all the talking around me, but some people can't.

@@michaelharrington75 thanks for your reply, but it does bother me, especially when there’s Tibbets going on shut the F up when you’re not in the hand and between Hands talk all you want
