Ok, I don't know if I did something wrong or if I'm dumb, but I tried several times with differents songs, and IT DOESN'T WORK AT ALL. Very frustrating...
Hey man. I have done exactly what you've told me in the video but I cannot get this to work. I'm trying to make an acapella for Chinx Point Blank. I have the OFFICIAL instrumental and the OFFICIAL audio but it does not want to work. Could you please help me with this?
Dude. Wow. Not tryna blow up your video comments, but this was the simplest, most direct attack lesson of something I always desired to master and found complex, only bc of sound parameters & processes/controls within DAWs and Audition, for example. This ain't no "Use the Stereo Enhancer tool plugin in Audition, then Vocal Remove, etc.". It's better. It's more official, professional. Leaves a clean vocal track. As long as #1 IMO, the songs were produced right. Same quality. Then boom. What a Show & Tell, bro. #BusyWorksBeats ALL DAY in THE P-A!!!! 1-8-0-5-2 LEHIGH VALLEY!! lmao I need to get some sleep.
What about using the intro? Trying to create one from Love is blindness - U2 (acoustic) but when cutting out the silence and then slicing at the 16th bar to loop, it creates some crap. VirtualDJ does a perfect job of looping the 16 bars though (after automatically cutting out the silence upon dropping onto the deck) so I have noooo idea what or why it's not working. Some insights would be legendary!
hi i have an issue with this technique, i'm doing the same thing that you did with another track where there's a part with the solo drums so i'm trying to "mute" the drums from the track but it doesn't work (well it does work a little bit but not perfectly like you, the kick is pretty muted but we can still hear the snare and the hihat and they're kinda saturated it's weird) even though the 2 audio clips are right on top of eachother. i'd appreciated if you could help me (i'm your biggest fan lol). anyone having this problem too ?
I just want the acapella for City 2 City by Zomboy, damn it!! Been trying to get it out of the original track in FL, and it's going ok, but it's not perfect...
I have a really old song that I want to make into Acapella but I can't find the original instrumental for it: "Dindi" by Astrud Gilberto. Made in 1965.
question for you my man. I'm having troubles lining them up on the grid. I have both og and the inst. but they but they not aligned and i cant cut them on edison cause it goes down to the smallest frequency. any ideas?
Is it possible to extract a voice sample out of a beat? .. Im in love with the Ivan B - Sweaters sample but I cant find it, or the original song to it :( pls help
+Trey Jennings It was used on It ain't hard to tell by Nas. So if you find out what sample it is from there, you can just sample it from the original song, sounds like James Brown.
i like your videos, but where do i get all those vtspluggins from? i just use the basic sound on fl studio, with ever video i watch from you...its sound better then ever, but i would love me some of those vts and pluggins you have....bruh..!
what if I don't have the music or the beat only of the song but have the song or music only then how can I abstract the Acapella only using FL 12 studio?
Sometimes I am facing the problem that especially rap instrumentals seem to have a small difference in speed so I get no exact match for the whole track. Is this just bad luck, no ability or could it be a protection method?
Somebody help please.. I'm trying to record my vocals I was seeing d wave when recording before but not all I get is a flat line.. and I'm not hearing anything. I'm hearing my vocals through they headphones bout nothing on the playlist. Thank u.
+Aidan Shanahan Adobe Audition and of course I'm sure specific plugins, specific DAWs, but I know that what I DO ... either in Audition I use "Vocal Remove" or "Make Karaoke Track" etc. You can do it the other way around. It's not the BEST and you have to fuck around with parameters and controls, levels .. otherwise, I also use ReCycle 2.2 (I love using Reason to produce beats, music). In ReCycle (in short, known as REX, or REX2) say you got the song off YT? Or it's ripped off a CD you own? Or you have a dope MPC setup where you're ripping right from vinyl? I'm sure the MPC has its own dope controls ... but, once you have the song, open that WAV in ReCycle ... if you can't open the WAV, convert the WAV to an AIFF file, which is another Lossless file, & it will open then just fine. Once you're in ReCycle ... there's not MANY options but first, I cut up the beat into trigger samples, into "cuts" or "markers" so that when I save the file as a REX or as a Soundfont (SF2) it automatically reflects itself on my Drum Machine Midi controller (Akai MPD-18 ... 16 pads, just a basic drum trigger controller). So, okay. After I chop the sample up? There's various type of effects you can fuck with. I go down to the last of the 3 sections, I forgot the name. In there you can "REMOVE BASS" right? So, now it's the vocals (mostly "treble" sounding, High-End) and you still hear the beat/instrumental/music under it? But, at least it's a start. I then save that. I take it and if I can't make it any clearer, less drums/music in ReCycle? I then open that WAV or that SF2 sample however I use it ... in a device in Reason ... If I save it as a SoundFont? I use NN-XT device in Reason which is a sampler that opens WAVs, REX files, and Sound Fonts. In the NN-XT, you can drop down the device to its internal audio editing functions and parameters. In there, you can directly edit the sample. From there I add effects, do various things to take away AS MUCH OF THE DRUMS as possible. POINT IS, the TAKEAWAY: It's a difficult process, if it cannot work or be as easy as Busy Works Beats shows it in the video above? Or if you don't have the instrumental? This is one of the best ways to do it, at least for me. Yes, it seems like there's a lot goin' on which is why I'm watching THIS video now. But, also ... I'm sure, with Pro Tools (which I don't use, not yet at least) .. They have so many different plugins native to the DAW. I mean, what Busy Works Beats is teaching here, Flippin' the Phase, Reverse Polarity, Canceling Out the SAME sound? It's actually to me like an A-HA! WTF Blew My Mind moment lmao NOW ... Will it work? Or will I get a Bass Boosted track? Like most people on here are getting? IDK. I haven't tried it yet. But, yeah. I hope this long ass post helped at all. At least directed you in a way. Merry Christmas - TOMMY (soundcloud.com/jerzeeprince)
This doesn't work if you're trying to do this within the same sample. Let's say there's a full track which contains a part where there is a pad and a vocal, and the intro to the same track where only the pad exists. If i clone the full track, and align them, one as the pad sample, and the other as both the pad and the vocal part, and do the reverse polarity thingy, then, nothing happens. Does anyone know how to do this within one sample?
MATE UR A LEGEND =) FOR SO MANY YEARS I HAVE BEEN USING FL STUDIO 11-12 AS I HAVE TRYED SO MANY SOFTWARE AFTER SOFTWARE TO DO THIS !! BUT HAD NO IDEA THAT I HAD BEEN USING THE SOFTWARE I NEEDED HAHAHAH =) UR A LEGEND #DJHOLDUPZ
This technique isn't working for me. My instrumental is an officially-released copy of the song - both in FLAC - and they're matched perfectly in the playlist, yet it just doesn't seem to work for me. FL 12.1.2
Andrew Koum are you sure it is the exact same instrumental? I wanted to do night lovell with dark light, but even though the minimal difference between it, it wont do the job.
I know it is probably to late, but waveshell on its own is pretty useless. It is like a converter which makes it possible to use wave plugins in FL Studio.
I think that's a part of Waves, the full audio plugin suite. I could be wrong. It's called "Waves". They make a shitload of plugins, but Waveshell could be something entirely different. Trying to answer your question and help at least.
If you have 2 different track qualities, say 192kbps, and the other is 320 kbps or even a wav?.... could you render one of them to match the other using FL 12, then re upload into FL 12 (now matching qualities) - And would that work, now that they are equal?
+Eddie Gonzales When the files get compressed, they don't have the same exact fidelity. This means, the waveform may not be the exact same. You can always try but when it comes to mp3s there is less a chance this will work more smoothly
making it's the easy part... finding that high quality instrumental is a whole other story...
+MrMonocle In the old days, singles used to come with the single song and the instrumental version.
+Busy Works Beats .TV lol back in maaa day!
Have a look on myfreemp3.com
Some really really old songs even came with the studio acapella in the single. Wish it was still that way :(
the real thing is not all song has its instrumental uploaded
This just does not work
It works but you need 100%!!!!! the exact instrumental
@@karanpawar2280 or an open verse in a song, which only comes with leaked songs
@@karanpawar2280 i made the instrumental.
I love this technique, it's completely clean but finding the intrumental you want may not always be possible.

Same
Doesn't work, tried it with 21 savage close my eyes and it didn't work I downloaded the best instrumental I could find and it did nothing
Tried it and it doesn't work for me....
Same, all it does is boost the bass but the track and instrumental still play
@@XxHeRBMaNxX same here, and im taking the instrumental from the end of the same song
thanks really helpfull.

Great vid, when you mentioned that thats how filters work as well, I had a eureka moment, lol.

can you do a video for the complete opposite. like instead of getting just the acapella you get just the instrumental. if possible. thanks an advance

ok thanks.

question.. where do i get the original beats?
What application is that
It's called FL Studio
Really helpful
dope
can you reduce the quality on the original via rendering in fl to match sample rates etc
+elwin crowner When compressing a file, it has a greater chance of not matching record fidelity

Maybe, but you would have to bring the higher quality file down to match the lower. Doing it the other way around won't work.
I literally used the same cd ripped wav files and they were matched exact and it didn’t work whatsoever
Do a nasheed tutorial
will this work for creating instrumentals too?
if you have the same quality pellas, sure.
Where can I get waveshell vst please
And what if there is no instrumental of a track???
:D
Make an instrumental. There's tutorials to do that.
+BR!MSTONE you make it sound simple....
can u do this to remove drums from a sample
never mind
Andy Sutherland lol
What app are you using please answer i need to know
Fl studio
Same technique in Logic? What about the Maschine?
+larry coley it's all the same. Simply flip the phase as in the video
How can i download this plugin ?
