I've seen many videos but man you explain it in a way that no one seems to have the patience for. plus iv'e been playin around with fl studios since fl 6 and you just taught me a whole nother ball game to this mixing stuff. thank you very much bro!
To me, personally, gain staging is the most important part of mixing. If your levels are right, it's going to be *so much easier*. Also, arrangement is more important than you might think. Adding new sounds is always a last resort for me. Less really is more.
I've had a lot of older producers tell me I was pretty good at mixing or that I had a really good ear when it came to it, but this really opened my eyes about how I can be much better at it. Thank you for this video.
+Busy Works Beats .TV hey i made some beats but i think its not ready yet, so could i send this flp file to ur mail and could u give me some drums chord etc. for my beat? i would really apreciate it!
my mixes are GREATEST because of this one video..I improved drastically in 30 minutes...I brought your kit a few months ago..was just showing love again..keep it up my man..will be buying more..you earned a customer
Youre such a beast man i appreciate what you do, ive learned how to do everything on fl studio just by watching your videos. When i get money from my producing your packs are the first im coming to for sure!
I feel obliged to say thank you. Im better at this than i thought i could be now and you are a big part of why that was possible. Much appreciated man.
game you are the truth brother.. I just started a channel just to throw up beats just for the love of music. thanks for the inspiration, keep doing what you do.
Your tutorials are the best I've seen on here. Thank u for everything. U seem really educated in music and are educating me as well making it easy to understand. Stay at it.
Thank you so much. I am still new to this. I made a song I really like and I was desperate because I didnt know how to make it sound acceptable at least, it was all muddy and meshed up together. This video solved my problem within 2 hours. Now I am ready to upload tomorrow.
great job on the tutorials, improvement on my tracks in seconds following your steps and knowing what your doing makes it more fun to create and set the levels.
WOW I really like the way the little green lines show which mixer channel is sending to the next one... I really hate these older ones in FL studio lol they are easy enough but they are SOOOO easy to overlook if you clicked one by accident and you are having some crazy unwanted efx or something and you know the problem but you have to look around for a long time to find it lol
One thing I like to do with the bass is use a separate layer for the sub, low pass the sub and high pass the main bass at the same Hz, this makes the sub stronger without ruining the main bass
omg thank you soo much ! i watched full video i learnt soo much now i got to know that i knew nothing about mixing but you taught so well thanks so much
Thats one of the mistakes i made when i first started making beats i had limiter on most of my project when i found out how to turn it off boyyuu the distortion i wanted to cry
Weird. Everybody's advice is to get rid of the limiter at the start and add it back in when your mixing is finished, but I like making beats with the limiter on. It gives me a better idea of how the final sound is going to sound like. I've also never had any distortion when I turned the limiter off.
Thank You!!! I'm musically inclined and music is in my blood and watching your videos really cleans up a lot of questions I have if you can, can you make videos for really advanced producers stuff that we should know about to make our tracks really professional?
Great video. Exactly what I was looking for, mastering these tracks, yep!!! Where do I get the Fleek folder though? Thanx Game again for your help. 👍👍🔥🔥💯💯
Believe it or not, I rarely watched tutorials and a lot of these effects you're putting on instruments, I do the same in mine. The delays, reverbs. I sort of learned these things on my own. I usually run external effects though. Like external delays and reverbs
I only have Logic and Ableton since I have a Mac (I could probably get Bootcamp but idk if my Mac could take it) but I'm going to apply what I learned in this video to Logic and Ableton because this is really dope! I'm sure with the limiting and the ceiling and stuff like that I could find a similarity in logic or ableton, but this is dope man!
yo Game. I got the mixing presets that came with your producer bundle. I use the EQ, then the Compressor on the master track in that order right? And is there a way to get my hands on the Limiter preset you had in this video? Or is there a video where you explain the Parameters of the limiter used?
Instead of para eq 2 use the gray eq on the mixer.. It works magically... IF YOU DOWNLOAD IL REMOTE ON THE APP STORE IT MAKES MIXING SO MUCH EASIER with less RAM being used
+LOC22 Goddamn!! Man i was watching the preview without anything any effects or adjustments, and then I saw your comment and clicked on that minute mark and it just blew my mind how different it was! Just crazyyyy!
how do you get that crisp clean final master. For example... Danny E.B. tracks... his final product sounds so clean and just has this "above" sound. What is the trick on that?
I always have it hard to hear my kick so much when im making edm, i always sidechain but it often doesn't work. Do you have a video of bass and kick tutorial? Or some tips? :)
Question? If you mix like this in FL, is it necessary to have a separate mix in Logic or Pro tools when mixing the stems of a song? Including vocals @busyworksbeats
wow like they way you teach, am new in this thing, can you help me on how to work on fl 12 i need more knowledge on it, how to arrange then take voice with cubase
I always mix my instruments while I make the beat. To me I just like hearing it stay good. Of course I go back and edit what needs to be edited but it's also a lot less work to me
+TeChNic Music that's an interesting point. But to me, honestly I like that. Yes, it gets harder to add stuff, but to me it's a way to make sure that everytime you add something, it's great
Does the slot order on the mixer matter like which order you put the effects? For example you put reverb in slot 1 and then eq in slot 2 will it sound the same as if you put eq in slot 1 and reverb in slot 2?
I've seen many videos but man you explain it in a way that no one seems to have the patience for. plus iv'e been playin around with fl studios since fl 6 and you just taught me a whole nother ball game to this mixing stuff. thank you very much bro!
You're not Cristian Castro from Louisiana right?
No i'm from Cali
Cristian Castro oh gotcha. i know a christian castro from around here. i was bout to say. You make beats lol
To me, personally, gain staging is the most important part of mixing. If your levels are right, it's going to be *so much easier*.

Love this tutorial. The guitar chords at the end reminded me of "Summer Madness" By Kool and the Kang, brilliant.
Hey i just want to say thank you very much for your time and effort into actually doing this. It has helped out in a tremendous amount.
You're the GOAT man. Learning everything about FL Studio from you 👏👏
I love this tutorial boss,so comprehensive.thanks

LOL yup
Thank you for this amazing video. Learned alot of stuff :] The first step I gotta do is keep my project / mixer organised.
The irony of seeing an advertisement discouraging watching mixing tutorials on youtube at the beginning of a mixing tutorial on youtube lmao
Great job. Will def consider looking into the mixing course
Thank You!!! I'm musically inclined and music is in my blood and watching your videos really cleans up a lot of questions I have if you can, can you make videos for really advanced producers stuff that we should know about to make our tracks really professional?

Great video
Please, after the mix process, do you turn on the limiter on the master track when mastering the beat?
Thanks for an answer!!!!!
No get rid of it and use it after after just to stop any clipping use basic template without limiter as ur default template
You're the man. So much value in your channel, thank you
Thank you I been using FLStudio since 2001
my guy really dropping the knowledge!
Hi, you might know this, but just a tip, you can quickly reset the setting by pressing alt button and then click on the knob.
DUDE... THANK YOU SO MUCH BECAUSE THIS WAS ALL I WAS MISSING, MUCH LOVE!!
i still love this video..i learned something new again.
That so nice bro, I learn a lot from you, thanks man
Where do I get Fleek and the presets cheat cheats you used?
13.09 You could also move the effects up or down by using your mouse wheel, just make sure to hover over the effects area of that channel.
Awesome tutorial, watched it from beginning to end!
Can you make a video on how to master a regular 808 and how to render it so that it wont come out sounding like it has static after being rendered?
thanks for this video, it was very helpful. keep up the good work!!

Are you going to make more fl studio 11 tutorials? And if so, can you make a Mike Will Made-It Tutorial?
how do you get that crisp clean final master. For example... Danny E.B. tracks... his final product sounds so clean and just has this "above" sound. What is the trick on that?
great video! thanks.

thanks for your good video. can you or anyone tell me how to add beats or add music with your vocal song? thanks
I always have it hard to hear my kick so much when im making edm, i always sidechain but it often doesn't work. Do you have a video of bass and kick tutorial? Or some tips? :)

Gotta love this guy.! 100%
this is really good. Thanks!
Question? If you mix like this in FL, is it necessary to have a separate mix in Logic or Pro tools when mixing the stems of a song? Including vocals @busyworksbeats
How can a preset master a track when the volume levels are different for every song?
Thank you.. you is great bro...

Does the slot order on the mixer matter like which order you put the effects? For example you put reverb in slot 1 and then eq in slot 2 will it sound the same as if you put eq in slot 1 and reverb in slot 2?
Thank you so much, much love from England
thanks for making mixing easy.
It is a great video. I have one question though !What do you think about having a bass in mono ?Is it going to have a negative effect on my mix ?
