When playing the final version, I was like "Ok, this Pope guy wrote the story and the 1bit renderer and then a bunch of 3d artists created the rest."

i would not say that. he is, however, a top bloke who has great ideas and is willing to work on them to get what he wants.
If only I'd watched this first, it wouldn't have taken me nearly so long to get all 5 fates correct; cruel of you to hide Walker back on the 5th page!
I know it's just a development build, but I did manage to trigger the door open animation to play from the wrong side by activating it at an extreme angle.
I learned about Return of the Obra Dinn via Nerd³, and I'm really looking forward to experiencing the final version. Keep up the great work!
