They did a full build on my 05 sti and I couldnt be happier, not quit as fast as the rain maker but still more than enough for me and zero issues, these guys know what they are doin. The manufacturers have abandoned both platforms, pretty much. Manufacturers aren't doing ANYTHING for the customers, it's all for the regulators and globalist dingbats.
It’s funny how Donut Media kills multiple engines while not even pushing a fraction of the power that this car is making. Beating the heck out of this car and she still scoots. Think that says a lot about Donut Media, lol.
Thought I was the only one who thought this. I mean they even lowered the "hi-car" too much to the point where the wheel and arch were creating smoke. Yet they used that clip of the smoke coming out as it was going down the track when talking about how unreliable the car was to make it look as if the engine had blown when in fact it was smoke from the arch due to them lowering the car! 90% of the people who call subarus unreliable genuinely have never owned or even driven one 😂yet alone built one. From my experience it is like any other old turbo jap car. My old fc rx7 was way more unreliable. The rotary in general is very unreliable but all the fanboys know is "brap" 😂There is a reason there are more subarus on the road than evos. They are great cars, don't let someone on the internet tell you not to get one

They don't really bog, most just hop around a lot. Evos included. I think it has to do with the short wheelbase. Like you say though it's nice to see ones that can launch smoothly

People hate on EJs so much because the kids who blow them up are using shit parts or bad tunes. The guys who really know these motors like these gentleman and BBR beat the piss out of them with little issues.

That’s literally the whole point in building a car. I’m glad that there’s more and more Subarus at this level these days. They get so much unnecessary hate when they truly are capable platforms in the right hands.

Don't think the Boxer design lends itself to making big power, but I guess with enough money and R&D it can be ironed out.
I'm into bikes too. It's just so much easier to go fast at low cost on motorcycles. Takes over 1000 horsepower to break into high 8's with a gutted car, and that just seems like so much work and expense.

I'm not here nor there on this matter but regarding proof one thing keeps getting me asking the question. Why can't we ever get any of the alleged departments doing all the denying up on the stand under oath refuting these claims? Noone ever gets up and faces the accusers EVER under oath and deny the claims and under those grounds alone tells me someone is 100 percent hiding stuff
So I own an STI, built motor rated for 450whp yadada but what I fail to understand is why anyone goe past like 600whp on this platform. Why turn a 4 cylinder boxer built for handling and cornering into a straight line rocket!?? These cars aren’t even that light. Like respect to them cause this is a beast but I feel like you’re working against yourself when you’re turning these cars into something they were never designed to be. Someone educate me lol.
I kinda just wish I saw more high hp all-terrain examples of these…maybe I should make one 😅
I agree with you on this. I still appreciate builds like this, because it showcases what the platform can do at a high drag level like this. People love to hate on these cars unnecessarily, so to show the world that these cars CAN successfully run at these levels is a W and is great to shut the haters up. Most ideal power for these cars in my opinion is right around 400-450 hp. Car will easily see 11s and with a good suspension and tire setup, would be an absolute monster on a circuit track and will take down most people. At the end of the day, these are track cars, not drag cars.
I mean it is a shop car… meaning they can afford it and they’re well aware of the ramifications of this platform. For your average joe, yea I agree. Unless you like putting money in the toilet lol.
If you have a STI with a big turbo but have to get on it to get power when slower cars with better power weight ratio can outrun you on turns it gets annoying. 400-450whp stock location turbo and TMIC with equal headers and full Cusco chassis and coils makes a fun STI. Pretty much how my car is.
Subaru disqualify from Wangan Midnight cause they try install mirror fender Proton....lucky produce see it early and prevent that thing from happen.
Also when i see a high hp build and its shorty intake looks that terrible makes me sad!
