- Six children were killed and two adults were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 24 in Robertson County early Sunday morning.
This is an unbearable loss... no words can describe.

The driver who was OK was probably wearing his/her seatbelt. I don't think that was the case with the victims, sadly.
The guy said there was no training for this. Yeah she could have had her kids in seat belts.
What would give you that idea? There's literally no evidence of that you're just putting it out there to blame the victim that's sick!

@@lady4191 If there is ONE THING you can do to possibly save your life in an auto accident it would be to WEAR A SEATBELT. When all of the victims have been ejected from a car, they were most likely NOT wearing seatbelts. It's basic physics. I'm not "blaming the victims," I'm trying to prevent more people from becoming victims.
People were ejected from the car... please take care and wear your seat belts.
This could be a human trafficking situation, still no excuse obviously

I was imagining this was a crash of truly disproportionate speeds.... but the kids were ejected because they didn't have a seatbelt on.

Seatbelts and secured car seats save lives regardless of your political view. When kids are ejected from the car usually means no seat belts, I hope the parents can live with themselves.

I've worked a pharmacy drive-thru window. I've seen a toddler on the front passenger floor between legs...
That many girls getting thrown puts weight to your lack of seat belt theory. It's why I snap at hubs every time he starts moving before everyone has clicked their belts.

Seat belts can also be a danger.. My friend was in a bad car accident... the seat belt almost killed him.. The seat belt had him pinned tightly to the seat & was choking him.. Thank God, For the person who came to his rescue, he reached his hand thru the window & cut the seat belt.. but he still couldn't get out of the car... the jaws of life.. had to cut him out of his car.
That’s really heart breaking…I have a beautiful 4-year old girl and I make sure I’m the one responsible for the safety for everyone in my car.
Whoever this reporter is I just want to thank her parents for being responsible………..superb…….

Where was this? These stations must say their locations. Nobody knows your counties and roads travel through multiple states.

If you love your kids and value their life and yourself.. you would make them wear seatbelts! period! you can't trust other drivers out there or never know what's going to happen? we shouldn't even be talking about this in 2023!? we have some serious problems out there.. main one being parenting! people now days care more about their precious phone than their kids!

Wearing a seat belt is uncomfortable or putting young kids in a car seat is unnecessary because its only a short trip. That's what a lot of people say. I rather be uncomfortable for a while then be permanently dead.

Do you think that the parents/ drivers of non-seatbelt wearing kids who die in car accidents be held accountable? I don’t know if that’s the case here but with 6 ejected it seems like it is. It’s very sad, but how different would this (and other crashes) turn out if parents/drivers weren’t so careless?
It was 8 people including 6 kids in the backseat of a Camry. Not one of the 6 kids in the backseat had seatbelts on and the women in the front didn't have hers on either the driver DID have his on,
If you care for your kids lives you'd make them all wear seatbelts! I think these days people care more about their phones than their family and safety!

I lived 5 miles from there at one time. Exit 24, PV was my exit. My son flipped a pickup at that very area, in ‘91. Oh my! Breaks my heart.

Terrible reporting on a horrific event. Fail to all but the FR's, they will suffer. 2am, packed car and no restraints, WTF is going on? The innocents suffer because of the adults who know better. This is shocking.

This is not a human trafficking case the girls 3 little girls went with their mother who is in the hospital, the 12-year-old girl went with her mother who also died unfortunately this tragedy happened when they came from a family dinner this breaks my heart so many lives lost

Six children in a vehicle? Was it a suburban? They were ejected, which means they were not buckled up, such a sad tragedy
Toyota Camry with 8 people inside at 4 in the morning spreading with six kids in the backseat with no seatbelt on and an adult passenger in the front passenger seat with no seatbelt on. The only person who was wearing a seatbelt was the driver he was the only one NOT ejected and the only one to walk away without being seriously injured or dead.

Omg ALL 6 were ejected??? That means only one thing... none were securely, or correctly, fastened in a seat belt. This is just tragic.
If the woman driving was not charged, she should have been, if the kids were not restrained. It was the driver's responsibility to make sure they are secured so THIS doesn't happen.

So, you are saying families or anyone should not travel at 2:00 am? Time of travel is not the issue. Children sleeping in a car with no seat belts on and no restraint (children car seats) are the issue.
