Tramadol disrupts the body’s natural production of endorphins. Endorphins are chemicals produced by the body in response to internal and external triggers such as pain, fear, excitement, physical exercise, and love, among others.
After frequent and long-term use of tramadol, patients develop a tolerance. This means that more tramadol is required to get the same effect. This can lead to an individual taking more than prescribed, which in turn can lead to dependency or addiction.
As with other opioids, it is not recommended to stop taking tramadol ‘cold turkey’ once a person is dependent on the drug.
There are three main established types of tramadol detoxification programs:
    - Social detox
    - Rapid detox
    - Medical detox
    - Social detox
    Tramadol addiction treatment through ANR
The main reason for the failure of traditional tramadol withdrawal treatments is that they do not address the physical causes of the addiction to the drug, only the symptoms.
Dr. Waismann’s Accelerated Neuroregulation reverses both the tramadol dependency and the Tramadol withdrawal symptoms by addressing the fundamental neuro-pathophysiologic imbalance caused by opioid dependency.
The goal of the ANR method is to return the central nervous system into balance by forcing it to decrease the production of opioid receptors and allowing the body to continue its proper endorphin production.
At the same time, the body is metabolizing and eliminating unneeded introduced opioids. During the treatment period, under sedation, a patient’s physical Tramadol withdrawal is progressing, and the accelerated neuro-regulation starts. In about five hours, neuro-chemical and endorphin-receptors are regulated and brought to their “pre-addiction” state. A patient leaves the ANR clinic the next day.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dr. Waismann identified the biological roots of opioid dependency; since then, he has successfully treated more than 24,000 patients worldwide that are struggling with opioid addiction.
Throughout his career, he has lectured and educated health professionals in dozens of countries around the world to this day.

The doses I took the last 3 days before cutting off: first day 6x100mg ER the next day 2x100mg ER last day 75mg inmediate release. And after 12 hours I took 8mg sublingual buprenorphine. And that was my last dose of opiates. (dont want to take anymore). I am just taking 10mg of valium before bedtime. Am I doing something stupid? Or is it okay? I have been to different healthcare profesionals in my country but there is no … no insight on how to deal with tramadol yet - the only recommendation was to go to a rehab center which I can’t afford

You're doing ok. Take at least 5mg of diazepam before tramadol. Try to tapper down 100mg f tramadol every 14 days. Its easier to stop when you're on less than 300mg/day. I was on tramadol 15+years 2000mg/day + other opiates and bzo. Subutex saved my life (but im still on subutex mat) didn't relapse last 5+ years.

You can jump off at 25mg, during this period, you can take benzos for 4 to 5 days, just to help you sleep but NOT MORE THAN THAT. benzos withdrawals are crazy. However , If you have an addictive personality please do not take benzos. OTC Non narcotic painkillers does help during the jumping off phase for a week.

130 opioid deaths per day. Clarification please- since this video is about Tramadol the implication is 130 Tramadol deaths.. Is that actually accurate? I was prescribed 50. Mg. Up to 2x per day 10 years ago for my multiple cervical issues as well as spinal arthritis. I never in 10 years taken it twice in one day or multiple days in a row.only on a “as need” basis. No side effects,no withdrawal symptoms,no tolerance buildup. My drs. Now refuse to prescribe based on the opioid hysteria. I was given Cymbalta in its place and I thought the crap was going to kill me! Dizziness, weird dreams or no sleep at all. Stomach issues and absolutely no libido.
Why can’t the medical profession treat each case individually rather than succumb to the mass hysteria? I now just deal with the pain because the “experts” insist Cymbalta is “safer” than Tramadol. I went from careful usage pain free to pain fairly constant. Where is the common sense in this?
