How much is it?

It doesn’t make sense, 24,000 people have been treated and the price is (now) $20,500. 24k X 20.5k = 480 MILLION DOLLARS!!!!!!!!! How about if you can afford to pay for it then you do, and they could take donations from the generous wealthy people for future treatment of those less fortunate. Considering most people in the US live paycheck to paycheck, and the US has a high opioid dependency rate from cartels smuggling drugs and getting everyone hooked, it’s really lame that those who need this treatment cannot afford it. I refuse to believe it costs $20k/person to do this procedure. At bare minimum it should be covered by Medicaid/medicare or maybe a sliding scale. should pay a proportional amount based on their tax bracket/income. I need this so badly. Every day it breaks my heart that my life is being wasted from spending an inordinate amount of time with strangers in the underbelly of society. I want my life back so badly I can’t stand it.
