Small gift to help with baby stuff. Mine just turned 3 and has been an absolute blessing. Big congrats. I like building model kits but it's hard to beat that feeling of working on a gundam you love. I'm in a similar boat where my wife does NOT like Gundam but she's been loving G-witch.
My dude thank you so much for the donation 🙏🏽💙 The first 4 weeks have be difficult trying to adjust to son sleep schedule. But Things are starting to turn around now..thank God lol! Again thank you so much for your continuing support 🥂
Congrats on being a father! 'Building' a kid is a lot tougher than building a Gunpla. Just remember to add some LEDs into the mix 🤣Jokes aside, understood on your situation. Still going to check you out whenever you post a new video!
Absolute masterpiece, I'm easily blown away, truly a great work of art. I have seen many youtubers paint and build Gundam Aerial, but for some reason, I've always waited for you to paint your own.
23:52 Yup, they're a massive improvement from the late 1990's and even the 2000's. I honestly like that they're standardizing their HGs, like the 2 peg holes in the back, using 3mm pegs, and standardizing their ball joints
1 congrates on becoming a dad. 2 we understand that doing model kits and video stuff is gonna be alot harder with a kid around. 3 take as long as you need man dont stress too much your life takes priority. 4 i love watching your videos gives me some good insperation for my own customs especially the wiring never thought to use magnet wire for led.
I love this gundam, recently got it for my birthday and was ecstatic. I keep her on a separate display from the others. I wish I had the ability to display it like you do, to set up the gund bits just like that.
you have absolutely been such an inspiration on my gunpla building and I finally started working on my firsst bug custom LED and painted kit BECAUSE OF YOU! Congrats on being a father and I cant wait to see what you build next!
@@OtakuBuilder Just wanted to ask , since I'm still practicing painting. When you paint the frame of the gunpla, do you sand down the pieces before painting them? When I paint mines they always scrape off due to friction. Ps: I primed first then wait a day, then I paint the gloss black (1 day wait) and then I paint the metallic color
Love to see more Mr Color in the builds. Looks great as usual. You can use their thinner with Tamiya's acrylics and LP line as well and it works awesome.
I've installed LEDs in my age fx burst mode and I'm truly happy with the results in the end but just getting there was a tedious experience because of the smaller scale since it's HG and all. Hence, I'm gonna wait for the FM of the gundam Eri to come out so I got more wiggle room, might even get it to switch to the blue LED mode too.
FOR HGtWFM kits, the Darilbalde, Demi Trainer, and Pharact kits are incredibly solid. All 3 of them could likely make for some rather fun projects, especially the Darilbalde and the Pharact.
I'll be honest: When I saw the pictures of this kit's build on social media I had absolutely no idea this was a High Grade! I've done a few HG kits and...well...they really look like HG kits. 🤣 Amazing job on this one sir, it looks fantastic. Also a huge, huge congratulations to you and your wife on becoming parents! Can't wait for the day when we get a video of you and your child building and customizing a kit together!
The High Grades I remember were from Gundam Wing's original run on Toonami, lolol. This HG kit is legit. Even the Wing EW HG I got a few years ago was a big boost as that one had its own skeleton frame. This kit looks legit but you scare me with how much painting it seems like it needs to be "gud" and I think Bandai has more room to improve - double-shot your sprues with black so all the panels are lined to begin with, etc.
dude your are in for this mobile suit line up from lfrith to the newest are all great! hope you keep up with them ^_^ BTW the custom Look so fine with that custom base as well HAHA
Congratulations on the addition to your family! Also, I know I can't be alone in this but I would not mind at all if you continued working HG kits for a while. It would be easier for you to complete projects and make more videos. Heck I'm even down with SD kits. I like seeing the more simple kits get love
I wonder when he’s done building his model kit gundam does he make them into statues or are they still possible😅🤔 because in my opinion i still want to play with my custom gundam if it looks that bad ass
Ima be honest i never built a gunpla for years since the only gunpla i built is heavyarms and i can say that Aerial is absolutely satisfying to built but the only issue for beginner like me is when installing the stickers and yeah pretty much everything about the kit is great and ofc mine gotta have some issue like lil stretch mark
Watched again on my work account. lol. Question... If I were to buy ONE PG Gundam, what should that be? I am getting a check from a fun wood project i made and im taking 10% towards a new gundam. :) (even though i have like 6 others to finish still. lol)
Hi Otaku Builder, I love your vids and they really give me an insight on how to install LED lights. I was wondering, why won’t the discount code work? I’ve tried so many different ways to put it in and it won’t work.
Which discount or referring to. Evans designs or new type HQ. If it's related to new type they no longer use discount codes anymore. If it is what Evans designs let me know I'll contact them ASAP to see what the problem is.
@@Chaotix-Builds yeah I'm really sorry about that my man. New-type discontinued that program almost three-and-a-half years ago. As for why ??your guess is good as mine.
@@OtakuBuilder oh jeez I’m WAY behind schedule then. So wait, why do you still put that link and say it gives a discount? Just out of curiosity, not tryna be mean
Great build. I just think you should aim for more SEO friendly titles so more people can stumble upon your videos. I only say this because it's criminal at how few views you get
All the LEDs use for this project only use three volts of power. The only time I would really need to use a resistor would be the red LEDs because they burn a tad brighter.
I only like half of this kit, the legs are ugly. Upper body has nice details and look. Translucent parts probabbly would look better if light would be diffused.

Im so happy about the addition!
I remember being a dad for the first time
Youre going to be a fantastic dad
The video that I've been waiting for is finally!
I'll try to succeed by referring to the video!
im so happy to see another one of your videos! also, CONGRATS!
Congratulations dude! Make videos when you can, enjoy the ride of fatherhood. Nothing beats it, even gunpla lol
Astonishing build and presentation!

Absolutely fantastic you really outdid yourself👍
Aerial as just a base kit with panel lining is already a fantastic addition to any collection, but this? Damn.
Phenomenal work!
0:55 Congratulations! 🥳🎊
Really happy to see an Otaku Builder video after so long, I've been wa- LACQUER???? Great to see you doing videos, awesome work as always
Thank you💙😊

It’s Beautiful!!! Now I am also hella excited for HG Lfrith Ur and Aerial Rebuild! :)
Easily well worth the wait and then some. Excited for the next build. Big congratulations to you and the Mrs on becoming parents!!!
Phenomenal work as always. I do agree newer HGs lately are really nice, and that only makes the eventual MG iteration even better.
@xxnike0629xx But will you build the MG kits in the future?
A true masterpiece, just got an aerial and i'm rewatching this video to see how to add leds to my build.

Good to see you're well, and grats on the kid! Your builds are a treat as always.

So what you're saying is... you were busy because you built a 1:1 scale baby.

If you want those clear blue pieces to really pop I recommend using mother of pearl paint by SMS paints

Masterful job , especially on the lighting and Dio. You have to do more HG builds from the Witch and not necessarily wait for the MG or the PG.
Really hope we'll get MG or PG of Aerial

if you do some warhammer stuff that would look so sick
I'm down with that. I just need to find one Warhammer kit that I really like.
16:24 so why not use a wide grooving chisel wouldn’t that be an easier way of making straight lines?
What's that ring stuff that holding gund bits? I need it for my diorama!
Love your work once again tho!
It's actually an old runner from my old Zone of the Ender's model kit.
