16:16 - There are ways of routing wire through moving joint parts - basically, find a path through the part where the distance the wire needs to cover doesn't change much as the joint bends, add some stress relief where necessary, etc. Stuff like cutting lengthwise channels into the joint peg and making the wires go through the joint itself. Though I'm not sure how well that would work with the thin enameled wires. For tricks like that I usually go for teflon-coated, stranded wire. It's thicker (around 1mm diameter) but it's more resilient. And there is something to be said for not overcomplicating a project. Lighting and painting is pretty complicated as it is, it can be worth static-posing a kit just to avoid making more work for yourself.
Awesome build, and great music selection! I picked up a Nu Gundam Ka from Amazon, and your vid was really helpful, especially about the restrictions with the LEDs.
Love the hard work u put into this gundam it paid off but I can also tell this kit gave you some hell along they I can see theres some spots that just did not take to the custom paint like it should have but that's just a picky eye. Ultimately I love this build been a long time coming it's a total success. THANK YOU FOR BUILDING THIS KIT
small nitpick, not a complaint, just pointing it out. the fin funnels are supposed to go in order from the connection point, 2 same height, stagger 2 same height, stagger, stagger. its your kit so it doesnt matter but if you want to be more accurate that is how they are in the anime.
Have you ever tried sanding clear parts to make like a frosted glass effect for the leds? I feel like it might help spread the light more evenly and give it more of a soft glow
this looks great and all that lighting effect..great job taking on the challenges..! could be comparable to the metal structure Nu Gundam. oh btw the metal structure Nu Gundam is PG size at 1/60 scale..
This video was very informative and my foist for your channel. I might try this on something like a gm and just do the eyes and thrusters and that’s it since I’m not good at custom stuff.
Wow! I'm building this as my first kit, and it's been fun so far. I'm not paining it though and naturally i won't reach the same level of detail or perfection, but would like to cut the eyes sticker like you did to insert the LED unit, and will also to some panel lining to make it look better. Really cool job anyway!
ah thank you verry much for elaborating on the movement restrictions when led modded, the end result is really impressive but i was wondering if it can still take up poses so that got answered ^^ highly impressive looking build as always.
Good video. Someone who works with normal colors, which you can also get in Germany. Keep it up. Question why don't you draw panel lines and when will the MG BANSHEE be built and wired?
Hey I am currently tackling this kit and I want to add LEDs to the arm parts... where abouts do you recommend putting the LEDs? I was looking at the clear pieces and they do fit snug into those grooves... If you could give some tips that would be awesome. I really like your vids too!
Do you top coat it once you add the decals or they hold along just by themselvs? I've got like 5 kit without decals because im afraid they will peel off
Those god forsaken hands, I just got a mg Sinanju Stein ver Ka, started building it, got the upper half done but broke fingers on both hands... I haven’t looked at it in 4 days....
Man. you make the pre-shading process look so easy! I can never seem to get lines as narrow and as crisp as yours. Can you share the details on your preshading? Such as nozzel size, PSI and thinning ratio? Thanks much. Always look forward to your videos.
I tip learned is reverse preshade. Make the whole piece black, and then find the highlights that you want to make white or light grey. Then you place your base color on top of that. Works really great for large panels.
I recently purchased an airbrush gun. What kind do you use? What psi do you have your compressor on? Also how do you thin your paint? I have sooooo many questions. I would love for my models to look as beautiful as yours.
hi @OtakuBuilder, can you also build the MG Hi Nu ver Ka ? I know it might be repetitive but the angst & dominating looks of Hi Nu is very very attractive. Thanks in advance. :-)
The fin funnels, the hands, and the feet hook I hear is the problematic areas of this MG. The face design is also something I hear is not that well appreciated on the MG Ver. Ka. Overall, I think fans would be more satisfied with the RG.
@xxnike629xx First and foremost: i.imgur.com/uD3m01j.jpg Now back on topic, so here you go again on your anti-Nu Ver Ka shots 😂 Which is actually, you just parrotted from other people. 😝 You didn't even specify what are the issues, which isn't surprising since you didn't even own one and just pretended to be a parrot. 🐦 I own and built one, so I know the flaws: unstable Fin Funnel connection and sagging hands and legs. Feet hooks? I've never got problems on that. Face design? Never problems on that either. I actually prefer the Ver Ka's face over its RG counterpart. And AFAIK, the Ver Ka's face is fine with other people. The Ver Ka having a Destroy Mode-esque Invoke Mode is much more controversial since canon-wise, Nu's psycoframe is only limited to its cockpit. So what's your next complaint? Your old rants about Nu Ver Ka having no LED piping at the back of its head and its insignia not engraved on its shield and shoulder? 😂 I'm sure you're just bitter that your precious golden boys, 00 and AGE, still doesn't have Ver. Ka kits 😹 But if ever Bandai actually announced Ver.Ka *BOXES* for your golden boys, yeah, you'll buy at least a handful of each... But it's also a certain thing that you'll never build the kits inside them. Why? Because you're a *COWARD* , that's why. 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩

What can I say you knocked it out of the park with my favorite Gundam!
This is my favorite Gundam!
You made it look amazing.
Thank you 😊
you are the only one i;ve seen that installed that many led into a Nu gundam.... and all i can say it is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now you need to make that Axis diorama to go with this!
Finally someone else finds the Ver. KA's head look good and not bad
I really like Ver.Ka’s Head
@@JeanneCanni same, and I wish the RG had that too
I don't know that ver Ka head looks weird, I think the high Nu head looks much better but, both heads need a new design they need to be more angular
I see nothing wrong on Nu Ver Ka's head.
Perfection!!! That truly is a work of art! I’m blown away!
The Nu Gundam just looks awesome. I always love your work. It's very inspiring and hopefully one day I will be able to make it work.
Awesome as always. All of my kits are painted in the same manner as yours. Thank you for inspiring
This kit is my first ver ka kit. All I can say is it's absolutely amazing, and the reflective stickers are painful
Most talented builder in the game🤩
Debatable, but his LED work is pretty amazing.
The LED make it so much cooler

My god it turned into a perfect grade
I love this Gundam 🤩🥰😚
Damn my man, your skills have improved so fast. Great work as always, great video too!

Man! It is Gorgeous!
Amazing work!!!

透明塑膠必需要用讓它霧化才能讓光線更飽滿
PG NU where are you!!!~
nice job btw, always love ur work :)
Beautiful work.

You're very talented man. You inspired me. My very first kit is also saxabi ver ka ✍️🙋♂️
This video was very informative and my foist for your channel. I might try this on something like a gm and just do the eyes and thrusters and that’s it since I’m not good at custom stuff.
Best kit ever
Honestly love these videos!!!
If anyone is wondering, his next build is the MG wing proto zero
Outstanding work!

You can do it!💪🏿💙✨️
@@OtakuBuilder thanks!
Gorgeous!!!
_My rival's kit isn't just for show!_
Beautiful as always!
I’d really hope that we get a PG Nu and Hi Nu Gundam someday
Superb
great build! I always liked the pre-shading and you sticking to it's original color. take a gamble on a custom? haha. keep it up!
ah thank you verry much for elaborating on the movement restrictions when led modded, the end result is really impressive but i was wondering if it can still take up poses so that got answered ^^

Amazing

Most awaited, finally

12:00 what bit were you using in the dremel tool?
Many people said the joint of the hand is super weak , is it true?
The MG have long face, while the RG have long neck 😅
Awesome build btw
Full led good!!
Haven’t finish the video but from IG and the thumbnail, it just looks so awesome!! 😎
Nicely done! Love the led effect.
Too bad he still has lousy wrist joints and still has a floppy gun because of it
Those god forsaken hands, I just got a mg Sinanju Stein ver Ka, started building it, got the upper half done but broke fingers on both hands... I haven’t looked at it in 4 days....
as usual. amazing :D
sent you a tweet of a project i was working on
I wish you are into real grades cause the RG Nu gundam effing slays all other real grades and even most master grades
Have you ever tried wireless LED's ?

Check out his video on the SD Freedom gundam, it’s an airbrush tutorial.
When I built this it took me almost 3 full days
Can you build the MG GATS - BOys??? Strike?Duel?Aegis?Buster? Blitz?
Haha that looong face of Nu Ver Ka. i see the right hand also falls while holding the beam gun same as when i build mine.
Will u do the hi Nu?or maybe the HWS
Can't u solder a strip of copper at the joints so the wires connect via contact. Full movement is then possible
Next suggestion: MG Phenex
Definitely
Better than platium finish ver.
Is that a water decal you putting on at the end of the vid?
Hey man, do you know whats the model type of the battery this uses?
Where did you get those small LED from?
hi @OtakuBuilder, can you also build the MG Hi Nu ver Ka ? I know it might be repetitive but the angst & dominating looks of Hi Nu is very very attractive.
Thanks in advance. :-)
I wanted to do the same thing with this kit but after I built it I was to scared to try putting leds in it.
How many wires did you have to use?
How much to move the joints after wear LED?
I can't find 2 inch or 3 inch LEDs on that website , little lost
Only thing about this kit i hate is the face. Amazing work. That LED makes this look godlike.
Where do you buy your leds
Why you choose blue led instead green?
Nu Gundam Destroy Mode Awakened
How about the MG Sazabi again ?
Can you do a series on Gundam Wing MG's, please?
You're from Pasadena ;o?
Can anyone tell me how many led lights were used ??
Does this kit comes with the Led?
no
Do the moon gundam next!!!!!
Heh this was my first ver ka
Hot damn sexy build
make MGEX Unicorn Gundam pls
Pg mk II!!!
Look so over premium
I wish I’m brave enough to custom my kits but... nope lol
The fin funnels, the hands, and the feet hook I hear is the problematic areas of this MG. The face design is also something I hear is not that well appreciated on the MG Ver. Ka.
