I never see Sazabi with LED's! Sazabi without LED looks great but at the same time with LED it looks even more fascinating! Thanks to Otaku builder for costumizing Sazabi and with LED units! 👍🥰😆
The sazabi ver ka was my introduction to gunpla, back in 2014. The best MG for 2013, from mecha gaikotsu video appeared in my recommended. The thumbnail alone made me want to know what the sazabi was, from the image I've been building gunpla since and sazabi is still my fave model kit
The music used in the first half of this video gives me strong Weather Channel Local on the 8s vibes. I can hear Jim Cantore now. "There's a thunderstorm warning for your area." LOL Love the build! Can't wait to tackle this one myself.
If you fear chipping, I would highly suggest getting a clear coat on it and make sure its like properly cured For that Sazabi, GX114 from Mr Hobby would make it even more brighter but I guess dull at the same time, and GX112 from Mr Hobby would make it look I guess wet(?) and is my favorite kinda way to make my model kits look
We all start from somewhere. Keep building kits and you’ll find yourself getting better and better each time. Then you’ll sit back and look at each kit and see the progress. Welcome to the expensive hobby haha.
Excellent photography at the end of the video to present your final result. Having a bit of experience with Vallejo acrylics, I'm quite impressed by the way you master them to get that smooth and nice texture and results all over the kit, as they can be a bit tricky to use. I now use more lacquers as Tamiya and Mr color, which are in my opinion much more easy and forgivable than acrylics can be. And I also share your concerns about the paint being damaged while final assembling, as the paint thickness tightens the joints and connecting points, and sometimes very quickly damages your long and patient paint job. I observed that lacquers are maybe a bit thinner than acrylics once applied, maybe less paint necessary for the same cover, and then less damage once assembled. Excellent work though, I have this kit MISB which awaits to be done. I wait to earn more experience on building and painting and will do it when I will feel ready. I wanted to go on a dark red candy color scheme, but you helped me change my mind about it, as your color choices are quite interesting and very nice at the end of the day. Excellent work, thanks for sharing your experience and tips. Keep it up! 👍Liked, and subscribed.
I felt so attacked when you said everyone paints their Sazabi in candy coat, bc that’s exactly what I did to my RG before it got lost. In MY DEFENSE, I was going to do the small RG as Candy and the MG as a regular paint job. Because there is no way in hell I am going to risk messing up that large of a candy paint job.
Looks great. This is one kit I want to tackle one day but I have neither the space nor skills to pull it off. I have the RG version and still haven't built it yet.
thumbnail already looks pretty sick, that LED above the eyes looks really good (was so dissapointed when i built mine that there wasn't any piping to provide light there by default)
This is gorgeous! I'm about to paint my first gunpla kit, this vids are always so inspirational! I was wondering if you ever do a pre build of your kit before painting? Or are you comfortable enough with all the painting process that you go straight to painting before building your kit? Keep up the awesome work mate, can't wait to see your next project!
One of my favorite mobile suits. I only have the real grade version and I wish they included the long rifle with it. Ver Ka's scare me to build with the amount of time they put in to build
I'm pretty sure there is a 1/144 scale version of the long rifle for the HG and RG version. I know there are some being sold but not know where to get them.
fantastic work as always! cant help but notice you seem less enthusiastic for the build in this one, idk what it is that is giving me that vibe, but either way amazing job on my favorite kit! keep it up.
Hey nice video man. I actualy start again gunpla building after many years. I have a question about this Sazabi modele. I looked a unboxing and there no base in this gunpla box ? Can someone tell me what is the good model of action base for this Sazabi ? Thank you guys PS . I am french sorry for my rusty english :-)
Hi, I was septical about the many tones you used on this monster at first, but guess it looks good with custom LEDs, sufficient decals and under dimmed lights/ spot lights! Btw, do you hide the LEDs power unit within the Sazabi's body?
Great build! How do you feel about doing water slides as you build? I apply mine along with final top coat to the pieces before final assembly. It’s too cumbersome for me to do the water slides at the end to a completed kit.
Wait as a rookie beginner gunpla painter can some one clarify why he primed it in gray then went over it with black primer; opposed to doing just black primer from the start?
Ah. Do you do any sanding of joints to reduce paint chipping? I always have to be sooo careful when I assembling kits, going as far as using masking tapes to cover some parts when assembling, and even then some chipping still occurs and that's just a Ver 2.0 RX-78 Gundam. This is why it takes me months to build a single master grade, so I don't now how you do it so fast.
man that is awesome! you did justice on the colors.. so damn BEAUTIFUL.. say, do you have still image of 32:32 and 33:15.. executed so dam well I had to put the video on HiRes and pause and take a screenshot.
where do you get your action bases, my local store has them for 8.99 and thats for all of them uhhhhh thats so beautifull i have one gripe about the kit but thankfully i had the decal in my collection.. chars cleffed symbol you see in the show on his skirt, its not on the decal shit with the kit, you have to get it second hand. i was unlucky to not have the decal sheet with mine but i had the second hand one. it served me well i think.
Awesome, AWESOME build OB! I just bought a “used” MG Sazabi for about $50, partially assembled but all the parts are there. Just one small thing...no decals or instruction manual Lol. Thinking of hitting it with some custom painting as well. Was gonna do scarlett red, burnt red and flat red. Will probably have to watch your video a few times for the assembly and also order some decals. Any chance of you doing a mg Sinanju?
Thats why theyll make u buy more for a stand kit. Which is BS.. this is already expensive.. Why cant they just give u the stand as free.. Jeezzz Bandai.
I never see Sazabi with LED's! Sazabi without LED looks great but at the same time with LED it looks even more fascinating! Thanks to Otaku builder for costumizing Sazabi and with LED units! 👍🥰😆
Hey there! Is it possible to have a list of all the colours you used? :)
The sazabi ver ka was my introduction to gunpla, back in 2014.

I have this kit. I haven't even begun to think about touching it. Wanna get better at decals and scribing first. But Im gonna tackle it :P
Great color scheme! The orange color really made the poses more dynamic!
The music in your videos is always great, fantastic job on this build dude
just bought the sazabi and ALL the same exact paint as you used in the video, i hope to god my sazabi will look as good as yours
The music used in the first half of this video gives me strong Weather Channel Local on the 8s vibes. I can hear Jim Cantore now. "There's a thunderstorm warning for your area." LOL
Love the build! Can't wait to tackle this one myself.
The color scheme you chose for this build is so inspired! Loved your video.
im currently building this right now, just the mettalic version. those LEDs sure give it a lot of spice. very well done sir
If you fear chipping, I would highly suggest getting a clear coat on it and make sure its like properly cured

Wow so nice....i like it 👍👍👍......⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I've recently picked this up, and I want to warm up with the rest of my small backlog before tackling this one.
This is going to be my first master grade kit
Legitimately phenomenal work, I wish I had your skill with this stuff. Only just picked up the hobby this year
We all start from somewhere. Keep building kits and you’ll find yourself getting better and better each time. Then you’ll sit back and look at each kit and see the progress. Welcome to the expensive hobby haha.
This is really cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh hey it does fit on a action base! Excellent work as always! Can't wait for the next one!
hell yea bro i just bought the special coating ver ka from gundam base and i am so hyped to built the kit.
You’re truly talented!!! I love the work that you do
That’s why I prefer lacquer now after learning that acrylic love to paint chip a lot
Same here - switched and while chipping/scratching can still happen, it's a heck of a lot stronger!
uoducks52 indeed

your leds make this kit a lot more real !
Nice Scarlett red painting.
Love how this came out!!! thank you for sharing your process
nice music, and great build!!!
damn, man your work is sooooo gooooood, you make me want to never even attempt to paint. bc i would want all my work to look like yours.

Can't wait to see the color scheme he went with 😊
Oh wow man. My dream come true
this kit is awesome and have this ver ka kit😍
Ah the good ol saucy bee
Looks great. This is one kit I want to tackle one day but I have neither the space nor skills to pull it off. I have the RG version and still haven't built it yet.
Are you,or have you done a video on preshading. Great build, just ordered one of these models my self.
Got that Weather Channel Muzak vibe on
glad you painted it that way, I'm sick of builders painting their Sazabi like a car. lmao
Jealous maybe?
@@mydemon there is no way I'm jealous about it. lmao.
i agree, its supposed to look like a piece of military equipmen. instead alot make it into a hotrod xD
yo my fav kit was posted on my birthday? whutttt
This is my favorite of Char's mecha.
thumbnail already looks pretty sick, that LED above the eyes looks really good (was so dissapointed when i built mine that there wasn't any piping to provide light there by default)

I think this would look good on mars like in IBO. Feels like the red orange fit at home there.
fantastic work as always! cant help but notice you seem less enthusiastic for the build in this one, idk what it is that is giving me that vibe, but either way amazing job on my favorite kit! keep it up.
Love the channel! Any chance you plan on doing the zero gravity judge Gundam?
I was scrolling and saw this video and immediately watched it. I said oooo and my face was exactly like otaku's.
I use the same surface primer for my gunpla vallejo surface primer first time I think I've seen you use it
It would be cool to see build times on these kits.
Please answer pretty pretty please.
How did you LED the weapons more specifically the axe
Hey nice video man.
I actualy start again gunpla building after many years.

Big are model paints a good paint just curious?

steallllu
Dumb question, but I should always spray a coat of varnish before assembling, right?
Hi, I was septical about the many tones you used on this monster at first, but guess it looks good with custom LEDs, sufficient decals and under dimmed lights/ spot lights! Btw, do you hide the LEDs power unit within the Sazabi's body?
Good choice on the reds. It is different than the rest, and it does look like a real life version of the anime.
does it have a lot of undergate to hide nubs ?
Great build! How do you feel about doing water slides as you build? I apply mine along with final top coat to the pieces before final assembly. It’s too cumbersome for me to do the water slides at the end to a completed kit.
how do u make the beam sabers glow?

LED in the blaster bore would drop hard
Wow
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Dude where do you get your songs?
What dremel is that and where do I buy it!?

It's been years i had in love to get this model on my shelf, but sadly the price was outrages for me ahahahahahahaa
Damn, the ending...
Does anyone notice that the should joints scrape when turned connecting to the arm? I need to know pls say something anybody?
You got me to finally dive into gunpla. It turned out terribly (to my standards) but I learned a lot.
It only gets easier with experience!

LUCKY! You can find the instructions here: dalong.net/reviews/mg/m175/m175_i.htm
Action Awesome thank you so much for helping! How about the PG Strike Freedom Gundam?
@@chegarcia7 that same site will have it. He scans in all the instructions. It's a great resource site
Action Awesome GREAT!!! Thank you so much again!
I had to grab the bottle of paint off my shelf just to make sure it was "steel" and not "steal"
I wonder if he'll do a bust?
Can i buy this to u?
Please build the dendrobium
i bet he took 3 months
I tried your code but didnt work 🥴
You spelled steel wrong. Not steal. Good job tho!
I find it funny how a lot of "pro" builders never top coat their kits
Thats why theyll make u buy more for a stand kit. Which is BS.. this is already expensive.. Why cant they just give u the stand as free.. Jeezzz Bandai.
