A model kit that absolutely deserves the love and attention from you! Their previous release, the Knight of Dark Sky, was also a beast of a kit. It has a pair of giant swords with long translucent edge pieces that's just begging to be lit, and you can see the progenitor of so many of the Thor's articulation gimmicks in the KoDS as well. It's amazing seeing the changes they incorporated from what they learned from that kit in the Thor. If this sparks your interest in amazing third party kits, In Era+ has been absolutely killing it with amazing releases these past couple of months. A lot of them have metal inner frames, but the Thunderbolt in particular is a plastic inner frame and seems to be garnering the most praise. I also wouldn't say no if you did any of the Motor Nuclear kits, because those are also gorgeous.
I use sewing machine oil for tight joints. It’s really thin. But I’m really looking forward to assembling this kit. I’m currently working on a custom fm Aerial build atm. 😂
Outstanding build, great work! I think the metallic painted orange clear part is so you can scribe the recesses or sand the leading edges, and have light come thru in a more subtle way
I see you use a lot of acrylic paints. What is your process for topcoating to ensure minimal scratching. I love working with acrylics, but they scratch so easily. Love the build as always!
YES!!! someone else giving this kit the absolute shoutout it deserves! This is an absolutely top-tier model kit and it's a shame not many people know about it.
this kit have so much value in terms of design and articulation even accessories for it's Price, I got mine for 1,600 php around $27 USD that's half the price of my MG barbatos that looks tiny beside him HAHA
i just found my new favorite channel XD.....since youre fatigued by ban-, i mean you know who im talking about...as a 3rd party model kit builder myselft, i also would like to see you try other brands....there are more companies making model kits than japan, just saying XD....here are brands you might wanna browse there catalogue: In+era, motor nuclear, nuke matrix and snn supernova....looking forward to your next build 😁
Very Nice! I have a question for you guys, is it still considered a 3rd party company if the model kit isnt in Gundam, or other movies etc.? Wouldnt that be an original design, and make the company a legit stand-alone? I've been struggling to accept these new kits, I have purchased a couple already to try them out. Thoughts?
It's legion. Lee-jun. Not legend. And saying Mal Meer for Mjolnir? Its pronounced like Meeyohl neer. That's as far a I got after cringing at the mispronounciation of Otaku before I abandoned.
I dunno. It still looks a bit like the fake transformer you'd get on your birthday instead of the real one you asked. It's like a buffed up Barbatos with some Exia esque parts slapped on. Chinese companies really need to find their own style, instead of copying bits and pieces from different models and giving it some kind of their own exaggerated style.

I friend of mine built it, and show it to me. It looked incredible! 3rd party kits have gone a long way in the last few years!
