TICKLE TOE - The Manhattan Transfer, New York Voices & Ayodele Casel

In recognition of International Jazz Day 2022, we would love to share a collaboration between The Manhattan Transfer and New York Voices made during the height of the pandemic. This arrangement is from a series of shows we did together years ago when the great Tim Hauser was still with us and we decided to document it for posterity. A dream of both Janis’ and Kim’s was to do a song with a tapper, so we thought while we were up to some mischief, we’d pull out all the stops! Inviting virtuosic tapper Ayodele Casel to the collaboration, who’s most recent credit is the tap choreographer for Broadway’s revival of Funny Girl, we are thrilled to share this arrangement and video on such a grand day.
