Since that hatch, ive grown to love that green colour( forgot the name) actually my favorite color on an EK now. Thanks for this upload, and sharing your mindset.
Glad to hear that you are making BIG MOVES. I and many of your fans are proud of you. Awesome to see you're vlogging and keeping us your fans posted on your adventure. I'm very sure many of your fans in the SD miss seeing you around. Keep it up man!
I just sold my dc2 GSR and although it was tough, you took the words right out of my mouth about why I sold it. I did everything I wanted (FBO K20z3, Comptech supercharged k20z3, turbo k20z3, 250hp NA k24) and it was time to move on especially when the only time I could drive it was if I was in and out or staring right at it (I’m in Cali too). Kind of a sad way to enjoy cars imo. Now I’m considering selling my AWD K CRX and move away from the older Hondas too as I have a family now and wanna be able to take them to shows. A manual TSX is on my list of cars to build as it fits the bill. 4 doors, comfortable, k24.
@@LATOMMYLA idk, the new stuff doesn’t really excite me for some reason. Plus I have a pretty nice Merc racing supercharger sitting on the shelf waiting for a new project. Hopefully I’ll get my hands on a decent tsx soon!
Bro literal since you sold the car for what ever reason I stop watching your videos not because you sold the car but just because of life but glad to hear your doing ok
I hear you on all that. I remember when I first bought my 2005 Acura rsx brand new from the dealer and as of today I still have it and drive it like no tomorrow. It’s now got 352,000km and even repainted the car just 2 years ago of the same colour black and everything still looks brand spanking new inside. Thought of selling it but…. It’s tough. Love it too much!❤ I don’t want to sell it
That was the best choice man! Also sold my prestige em1 with regas for the same reasons. Hated seeing it parked in the garage but driving it meant worrying about the roads and constantly worried about theft. Stressing af
I couldn’t agree more with what you’re saying. I’m at a point in my life where I too want a change of pace, and somehow-someway my 95’ LS Integra that I’ve own for 7 years, has been holding me back. And for as much as I love it and want to spend very nickel and dime I have to make it into the dream car I’ve always wanted- I also now have other desires, needs and responsibilities that require more of my dedication and finances to achieve. So considering what you wanted and the circumstances, I definitely understand why you had to do what you did, and thankfully it all worked out! I’ll be doing the same soon… Although I don’t think I’ll be selling my Integra like you did your hatch (cause mine ain’t worth as much as yours lol) I will forsure stop prioritizing that car, buy something else that I can enjoy and worry less about, and just go on fulfilling my life.
It takes a lot to finally hit a wall and feel you've done all you could. I still have my Del sol but i have it squirreled away. I love the car but because I've taken it apart like 100 times I just want it like an item now. I understand needing to just get rid of it to explore and try something new. Otherwise you're going to end up building the same thing over and over and you won't enjoy the building anymore.
Dude that dope, congrats on finishing! No doubt you will love developing. I had the same feeling with my Integra, the constant worry that my car is going to get stolen or even someone is going to hit me without getting any compensation. Eventually I just chose a different path and started focusing more on my career and self growth. Now i just drive a beater haha.
This is how I am with my cars. I sell them whenever I feel like I want or need to. Only regret is selling before hype makes prices go crazy. I tend to do something early then it becomes trendy by the time I'm done with it and prices explode.
Its kinda like breaking up with that one ex cuz you wanna move on from or not the right time and place sometime you're happy it's gone other time it eats you alive especially wen you see other clean build that just reminds you of her buh then you remember she left you for your friends and she wasn't worth trouble naw jk buh frs your ek was very clean bro🤣😭
Hey man, have you been working out? Anyways good to hear your pov. I went through the same thing I’m 33 now and I’m supper happy I’m life now. Cars will always be there but memories are forever.
Completely on board with you man. My friends sometimes ask why I have so much money saved and my car build is moving so slow and because I rather enjoy other things life also has to offer. I wanted to turbo my rsx last year but instead blew what I saved on a 2 week trip to Europe, now I’m less then a month away from my trip and I’m more excited to live that experience VS having a turbo build, nothing beats the memories, building a car with the homies is cool but traveling is a whole other experience.
Damn man. I still will never understand people that sell a perfect car that you put so much money, time, and love into. You were “tired of it”, I get it, really… not really. I have experienced much regret in selling a car that I loved in the past. I’ve owned my 1994 Integra GSR for 9 years and still never plan on selling it… you know why? Because I love that car, it is fun as hell to drive, no new car can match the driving experience!! Why would I sell that driving experience, money, sooooo much time dedicated into that car, etc.
No lie, I thought i was the only ek owner that had the irrational paranoia during their ownership, I too don't drive my hatch anywhere that isn't somewhere protected and then straight home.. so that means i don't drive it really at all lol.. even compliments from people on the road, no thanks..
Since that hatch, ive grown to love that green colour( forgot the name) actually my favorite color on an EK now.

Galapagose green metallic (pearl maybe)... beautiful color

@@LATOMMYLA where would you like me to DM regarding on getting some parts?
That ek inspired me to build my ek sedan. I even get the same spec te37 16x8 +30
seattle shoutout hell yeah! you once saw my ITR on the street in ballard.
Ayeee, lets goo! I needa visit ya'll again soon.
As we mature, Life experiences/Traveling becomes more priority than being in the "car" scene. Cars really are just materialistic things
Amen.

TSX is nice or even a FK8!

Super true i can't take my car anywhere my car in garage 24/7 had my EK for 17years trying to go ur route on engine!!💯👌
i loved my ek sedan but the aus fd2 i have now, is what i want to drive everyday
FD2's are soooo nice
Bro literal since you sold the car for what ever reason I stop watching your videos not because you sold the car but just because of life but glad to hear your doing ok
Life is more important than cars, and thank you!
Lol, Hondas & getting them stolen will always be a fear.
Yup haha
😂 I’m going to be that guy that never travels but has 80 Hondas to stare at and wish I can still drive when I’m old 😅
Go travel HAHA!
Sold my eg6 back in 05 and the more cars I drove the more I regret it, till I bought my ek4 hatch in 19 and I'm never going to sell it.

I respect that, my hatch probably wouldn't even be driven that much, downside sometimes of owning a 90's honda that can easily get jacked.
That EK was so dope. I loved watching videos of that and the coupe you used to have.
Your ek look super clean. What type of front lip on that ek?
Which one?

Reality is that u get more views and followers on the EK fact!💯 The Golden Era of JDM never die! 👌😅..
that ek was a must keep
We need the tsx build breakdown I own a tsx personally and I would love to see videos of it
Coming up soon!
No wonder you sold the hatch, it was your daily driver😢
Idc that was the worst choice maybe not for u but damn it for me! Lol that was the best hatch
The only reason why I subscribed was because of the EK.
Most people did, you're not the only one.
I was just kept it fuck everything else
Yeah I would too! A real car guys keep there cars till there dead!
You should consider buying a mitsubishi colt very underrate and cheap to build especially the 4g63 or 4g93 mivec swaps
How are the CL7 Recaros?
Amazing, they're so comfy plus they're OEM!
@@LATOMMYLA Thanks, Tommy! Good move on selling the EK, I totally get your point of moving on to better and more meaningful things in life. 🍺🍺

Was your bros civic bar'd?
It's not.
Your new cars a better daily
You should've kept it as a "completed" project ...

Me and my girl are trying to go to Europe soon too! Let me know how it goes. Also staying NA is more reliable haha
Bro, i thought you still worked at Book Off lol
That's like ages ago haha
i Dout, you hit it, by watching sonic new ENGLAND RACEING that serious level. and saw your channel first it wasn't about the car at the end.
you get these questions because you could have kept it and still be doing everything that your doing lol
If I kept it, would of just sat and won't even be driven

I agree with you, I just don't like to stay attached to material things. One reason why I go back and forth on parts.
His reasons are perfectly understandable. There's more to life than just cars. Not like he can't just buy another hatch and do it up again.
For Real My Guy it was sick
Now you jus telling?.. man that shit broke my heart but a man gotta do what he need to do.

I know you miss that wing
Somewhat but not really
Ngl Wouldve loved to see you track the cars. 👀
Should of did awd my guy
The EK hatch is more cooler.. The TSX is like an accord. Boring car. 😂😂😂 but I do understand your thinking. There is more to life then just cars.
tommy lookin swole
Just been living I guess a healthier lifestyle now
This is dope bro! You're on the right path. Keep doing what you're doing.
miss my ek hatch stilll
Forever gonna miss that car 😢
Cutest ek in sd
Know any good used trustworthy engine sellers
You got a lot of importers, or you can buy a used engine on eBay which is what I did when I got it bar'd.
Why sell because fwd sucks big time slow instantaneous acceleration wheel hop swaying to one side in straight line drag that's it sucks lousy
Maybe with stock suspension😂
👍👍
which car have more views?
miss the ek hatch more
hatch 100%
@LATOMMYLA hey will the P30-A01 work, i know you have the P30-A02 what the different on both im confus
Aww man. I gotta see why you did it. Let me see why.
Ngl.. Sounds like a midlife crisis no offense.. Hope you get yourself stabilized and can find a happy medium with life, work, cars etc.
I'm very well stabilized with my life, never felt so much better.
